Don’t You Remember is my favorite song of all time from her, it came out when my cousin who was like a brother to me passed away and I took it a whole different way, that’s what I love about music, u can interpret it totally different!

You're right about the album being about the same person. 11 of the 12 songs were written post-break up. The only exception is "Take It All," which was written during a really difficult moment in the relationship. She said it was about relationship insecurity and, sure enough, shortly after she recorded it is when he ended things. The relationship that is the subject of the entire album was her first serious relationship. It lasted 18 months. She was 20 and he was 30 when it started. He was the one who broke things off and it absolutely devastated her.
Her age, the fact that it was her first serious relationship and the devastating heart break all combined into a powder keg of emotions.

I love how she writes and deliveres the lyrics very genuinely and with so much soul and feeling, not every singer can do that.
This album is a masterpiece, everybody loves the hits like rolling in the deep, set fire to the rain and someone like you BUT I really believe in don’t you remember, take it all and one and only supremacy. The best ones of this iconic album ✨

try to listen to “Lemonade” by Beyoncé, one of the top 10 albums and most acclaimed albums of the last decade. The emotional complexity and the dynamics and variety of genres and the whole story is gonna be so interesting for you to dissect! Love this reaction, there’s a reason why “21” is the most successful and best-selling album this generation.

Lovesong is a cover! it fits well in its place on the album but you knew right away it didn't sound like her voice and you were right. the original song is by The Cure
its actually its one of the best songs she sang for me

Honest vocal explains it perfectly! Her vocals are ALL one take. Every single vocal track on each album is the original demo because, she says, those vocals have a charisma and an urgency that get lost if you rerecord them. “I never redo my vocals. Never. Never ever.” - Vogue Magazine, November 2021.
She also almost always goes in to record songs at the height of her emotions. For this album, she went in and wrote & recorded several songs after having big blow-ups with her bf at the time. "Rolling in the Deep" & "Rumor Has It" were two of those songs. The relationship had ended before she weotr the final song for the album. The day she found out her ex was seeing someone else, she went to the studio and wrote & recorded "Someone Like You." That's why her vocals always sound so honest and vulnerable.
I originally subscribed to your channel while waiting for your next BTS album reaction to drop. Man, I really couldn’t bw any happier that I stumbled upon your Adele journey. The way she conveys emotions through both her voice and her lyrics is simply iconic.
It’s been a while since I listened to this whole album all together and man, I almost forgot what a masterpiece it was.
Don’t you remember and Someone like you really hit different and I do honestly feel she’s on a whole different planet live!

Lovesong is an original song from "the cure" it's a cover that's why you found the lyricism so diferent from the rest of the album. But as much as I love Cure Adele's version is better. Also this album is one of the best albums of all time for me. master piece.

I love how you can appreciate the power of a single verse in a song and let it affect you, like with One and Only. For me, that line is in Turning Tables: "I won't/ let you/ close enough to hurt me." Taken out of context, it is such a tragic line. You can even conjure an entire history in it. Essentially, it's saying "I want you in my life, but I've been hurt by those who've been really close to me, so I'm not going to let that happen again." It's so full of not only pain but loneliness too. It gets me every time.

idk if you've listened to any jessie j albums, but basically, adele and jessie went to the same school at the same time; the albums are very different but if you have time i would like to recommend jessie's albums to listen, they're very personal and also viby, r&b and soul but also some pop, they wont disappoint you, love your channel, thank you for these reactions

Ah thank you for reminding me of this little gem......I have this album and liked it when it was first released but didn't relate to it.....fast forward to 10 years and my husband leaving me 2 months ago and under 2 months his with some new....my god it hits me right now, he gas lighted me through out the relationship but I had hope as he was broken like you said but the last song ❤ it gives me hope that this pain will end one day and I will be so much happier with out him 💗 so thank you.....Will be popping this in my car tomorrow and singing my lungs out 🌈

If you want something feel good, with great songwriting, I HIGHLY recommend Tori Kelly's album "Unbreakable Smile", it's soo underrated you should check it!

N also I remember her saying that One n Only was about a different guy/friend(not the main heartbreaker) who turned out to be a real jerk but not someone she had a lot invested in it seemed.thanks for ur real reactions!

amazing album and amazing review. I'd recommend TWICE's album "Formula of Love". extremely underrated band. Many music critics have given them 5 stars, making this album one of, if not the most critically acclaimed Kpop album ever made. And what's a great surprise is that. 4-5 songs are ALL English so I think you'd enjoy!
21 was about 3 different guys.
21 were her *best* album next to 19 and 25. (MY personal opinion)
He won’t go isn’t about Adele. It’s about a couple she knows who are devoted to one another but the guy is battling an addiction
