    Shoutout whoever edited this for putting in Thomas Voeckler. That was man who rode the bike with his heart on his sleeve. Regardless of whether you were a French cycling fan or from elsewhere in the world, everyone wanted to see him win. I remember cheering for him every Tour de France while growing up. I may not have ever been a fan of his team or country, but whenever I saw him out front I was hoping he’d make it all the way.

    11:03 The biathlon is imo the best part of the Winter Olympics. Having to constantly slow your breath down with your heart pounding in your chest to hit 5 narrow targets in quick succession is incredibly hard to do. And to do this over 10, 15, even 20 kilometers, too! It's a sport worth reacting to.

    • @merriemisfit8406
      @merriemisfit8406 2 года назад

      I love watching biathlon. Oh, to go out on weekends in winter and do a little "biathlon-ing" -- but I'm sure there wouldn't be too many people happy to see me lugging the "tool of the trade" on my back. Maybe none, actually.

      @@merriemisfit8406 There's nothing wrong with letting them know what kind of gun it is. Ask them about what they think of it first, and if they're okay with it, show them where the magazine goes, show them the bolt of your rifle, tell them what it does and why it's there and what makes it "manual" compared to "automatic". People I've met are mostly receptive when it comes to learning more about guns, and bolt-action sporting rifles are seen as relatively harmless compared to...well, you know what I mean.
