The untapped potential in this game... it's a real shame Rockstar is just going to let all of this go to waste and never give us additional content in story mode.

I blame the online version of both RDR2 and GTA V for the situation, as long as it keep their pocket full they will never feel the need or pressure to expand the story mode with new DLC. They're sleeping on shark card's and gold bar's money
Since RDR2 initially came out for prev gen, they should make a next gen remastered version with Mexico and all of Mexico's towns and forts from the first RDR. I miss escalera, chuperosa and El presidio.
this game is the first game since san andreas that gives me that feeling. of infinity. san andreas has so many meticulous details that were insane at the time, that even today things are still discovered in the game. he was a titan of his time and you know how much stuff was cut from San andreas by hardware limitations of the time, and you're left wanting to imagine what he would have been like without the limitations that were imposed. RDR2 is the same thing. a game absolutely out of reality for its time. and when you think that this game was supposed to have a complete map separated from the game (guarma) and the entire map of red dead 1 inside the 2, it's even sad that we won't be able to see that.
The size of a Mexico map, looks like it's waiting for a DLC... Shame on you Rockstar, that there's no additional content/DLC to this day😢 This game deserves for that like no other game in a whole history of gaming🥺
I didn’t mind Mexico not being opened up in RDR2 because we saw it all in RDR1. What pissed me off much more was huge areas of Ambarino being closed off for no good reason. They didn’t need to put loads of stuff to do up there, just some nice scenery, some stuff to find and decent animals to track and hunt.
what pisses me off about mexico in rdr2 is that they have so many files leftover in the game. it’s like a tease of how big the map really could’ve been, let alone all the extra content the game would have. it just proves that the game was still rushed

The fact that they added buildings as well makes me think that Rockstar had big plans for RDR2 before abandoning it. There's no way they would include all that if they didn't have at least one DLC in mind

This is why you shouldn’t get the Wolf Heart Trinket. It’s one of the dumbest trinkets in the game. Like, why would you want to have to drink waaay more alcohol to get drunk? What possible reason is there for that? I guess if you use alcohol just for health regeneration, but there are better options (like big game meat, or even venison).
Maybe I got the wrong place but I just woke up in the jail of Tumbleweed. 😂 At least I didn't know the city in RDR2. But how did the game put me from about Thieves's Landing to Tumbleweed?!
