Reviewers slay me with the third row. They say “family car” then clamber into the third row as full size adults and complain. Instead, grab a kid and throw him/her back there. By the time the kids are tall enough to complain, they have what is called a drivers license.

Good review, thanks. The Bench seat is more commonly installed on factory models now and sits 3 to give this year a 7-seat capacity. Split-buckets gives you 6. Blue Cruise is $700/yr. if you take it before the trial expires. $800/yr. if you opt-in afterward. I imagine most people opting out in the Northeast with our road cover in winter months. Nice work mentioning the ST school - most reviews miss that fun tidbit (airfare not included lol). Good comment on the exhaust - my Sport's tips always darkened. Final option available is the painted roof at a $5k hit to the bottom line.

I picked up a 2023 ST recently. Absolutely love it but I hope the reliability and craftsmanship on some areas of the vehicle specifically the interior has improved with this model year. It has already been to the dealer for the 3rd with the SYNC screen glitching out from time to time and they can’t seem to fix the problem completely. I personally do not like the 2025 ST with the lack of a black wheel option and the less aggressive front end. However, it looks like the interior has been improved in many areas which is great to see. The perfect Explorer would be the previous exterior styling with the 25 interior imo.

I have a 2020 Explorer ST and it has more features than the new model, massaging seats for one. The car with just a tune is one of the fastest cars I’ve ever owned. But the dealership experience is abhorrent. At 30,000 miles mechanical issues that should’ve been present at about 80 or 90,000 miles are needing attention. The quality is so bad compared to most Japanese vehicles. Everything from mysterious electrical gremlins that are very hard to diagnose. Suspension noises that Ford itself can’t pinpoint the issue on. For almost $65k you can get a mid trim Lexus GX that is 10 times the vehicle.

No headlight washers (people from Canada and other northern countries of the world understand). Meh.

For me the best Explore is mid 90's..2025 Explore seems come back with the good oldies car. ST seems good performance but not define products with the price.. lousy stitches on the seats, details of plastic contours are so rough and cheap compare to Lexus... well I may not get how the great name Explorer but quality like KIA.

You don't want under 200 in these bricks. If you are by yourself maybe but using all the seats you run out of steam quickly. a 4cyl in these should be criminal.

4 runner has a true transfer case. Rest is part time all wheel drive. If you don't off road really this is all you need. Ask other car based suv 3 rows share the same design in that system.

@seauryakumar when the US changed the explorer to a crossover I lost my mind and it still does. Ford should've just kept the Explorer body on frame in my opinion. That's why I want the Everest in the USA so they can kill the current crossover Explorer and make the Everest in the US the new Explorer the way it should be.

@@texandy89 I think they don't want to cannibalise the sales of Bronco which is based on the modified platform of Everest and Ranger. There must be a reason because everyone agress Everest is a great SUV.
