THE SPICE MUST FLOW 🪱 🐛
I was never here
The resin must flow 😉
Who told who about the Spice Molange?
the missionari protectiva must flow
Man, the entire time I just kept saying, outloud (to myself lol), "Damn that looks SO good!" and "God, thats SO SICK!" Really this is nicely done dude. A pleasure to watch from start to finish!
Thank you. I appreciate it. I had it the same, primarily when one wing cracked while filming a stop-motion video. "God Damn" 😅
Full agreement great work.

@@idaemonplasmo Perhaps Gods of Modelling decided to take "special scene Tax" for that scene with slow-motion. But I have to admit this is my favorite scene. Love it! Worth it! ;) Thanks again for sharing your process and inspiration. Good luck with next projects.

Hes 'that good'
Ladies and Gentlemen, the future of modeling is here! Now we can fully build our own models with proper tools, that's absolutely insane, love the model too! Great attention to details!
Absolutely gorgeous build! Looks amazingly real! Thank you, David!
I just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration. Last week I decided I wanted to make a build video relating to Dune on my channel and decided to make an Ornithopter, then I came across your video and you beat me to it! With amazing success I must add, and it inspired me to show a little more of the process of cleaning and preparing 3d prints on my own video. I'm not sure how I didn't found your channel before now, but I am happy I did and immediately subscribed. Congrats on all your success and looking forward to you hitting 1 million subs.
The ornithopter became an instant favourite of mine in terms of sci-fi craft. In no small part because Dune was an absolute masterclass in sound and visual design, which meant that the ornithopter was incredibly memorable. It is so cool to see one in physical form and your model is absolutely incredible. Once I have my own printer back up and running I think it will have to be on my to do list! Absolutely incredible work.
The Ornithopter (flapping wing aircraft) concept goes back to the nineteen thirties but no successful ones have been built because they shake themselves to pieces. Modern materials tech might make it possible but I don’t see anyone trying anytime soon.
When Frank Herbert first published Dune he didn’t describe them in detail, leaving it up to the reader’s imagination. The film versions have indeed sucked until this latest version, and I think Herbert would be happy with it.
Incidentally, the Corridor Crew channel did a video about how the wings were done for the movie. Surprise, they were not CGI! They literally did stop motion animation with physical models same as David did for the closing beauty shot. The film people added motion blur of course.
Never seen a RUclips modeler show an action shot of their models before. Very cool.
They did a fantastic job on the 'thopters. It's no easy task making a flapping craft look mean and not like a toy dragonfly.
The Baron looks badass this time. No moments with Sting strutting out of a pain amplifier wearing blue space underwear like the last one. 😅
Beautiful work! I've loved the Dune saga for decades, and the ornithopters never looked right until this version. While the color scheme looks simple, it fits with standard military paint styles and the very subdued palette used by House Atriedes. Long Live The Fighters!
ATERIDES! ATREIDES! ATREIDES!
Two videos in under ten days? Hell yeah! Love your work❤
Thanks. Now, it is going to be a small gap. I have more difficult projects on the table. 😅😅

Looks fantastic! I recently started using UV resin in builds and you can get some great gap filling by mixing it with talcum/cornstarch/baby powder if you have large gaps or layer lines to fix (like from a filament printer).
AMAZING attention to detail and AMAZING stop motion work. This is my favorite video of yours!
The stop motion was my first try ever, so I am glad you like it.
You've done a fantastic job with this, and I'm very envious of the ability to 3D print something as awesome as this. The animation at the end was excellent.
I am loving the move to printed resin models. I have been printing for a while now, but mostly figures so this has given me some ideas and as usual, you have given me some inspiration with your beautiful builds. Shai huliud!
Nádherný model. Perfektná robota.👍👍👍
Another awesome vid, i really love those Ornithopter design!
The Ornithopter looks really beautiful! Wow. Loved the video from start to finish and the resin glue trick works like a charm.
I have been watching your vids for a few years...this one, as are the others, was great! The animations at the end were incredible! Well done!
This Sci-fi model is absolutely flawless and perfect! Flicking awesome and great work!
That is one AWSOME model!
:o)
Wow!!! A stunning paint job.
I like the animated presentation.
And the video greatly profits from the sound track.
Definitely one of my favorite builds I’ve ever seen you do.
Fabulous! Great subject, beautifully done and presented!
Oh man, this is so cool! Beautiful build, keep em coming!
Another outstanding build. Sir envious you have one of these. BTW...the slight yellow/gold tint in many aircraft windows is due to an extremely thin layer of gold applied between the glass panes to conduct electricity (windshield warming, etc.)
This is a gorgeous build. The level of craft and loving detail is astounding.
well done, now this is called labour of love.
Thank you. As a sci-fi fan.. this brings so much joy. Hope you will do a diorama with it.
And also hope you will do other vehicles from cult sci-fi movie
The diorama would be only desert or dune.
@@idaemonplasmo the harvester rescue scene would be epic
The spice must flow
there was an obscure early 1980s sci fi movie i believe called "Battle Beyond the Stars" ang Robert Vaughn had a ship that resembled a womans torso and had a female voice.... cheesy, i know but the ship was cool as hell and would make a great addition to a cult sci fi model collection
@@oldmanandthed2934The ship is called "Nell". Fantastic Plastic do an all-resin kit in 1/144th scale 😊
Animation at the end was epic. :)
Lovely model, great constructing, and cool stop animation!!
Thanks for another Video brother. Always great seeing your work.
Spice must flow! Awesome looking model!
That is a gorgeous model, thank you for sharing your process.
A great model of a Dune Ornithopter. Very inspiring.
Master builder! 👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bless The Maker And His Water
Thank you Mr D. That just looks so good! The cockpit tint - I couldn't believe the difference it makes. An inspired idea which I will now steal. Thanks again, really enjoyed that.
Outstanding. It looks awesome!
What an absolutely cool model! Great job! I always enjoy it when I see your posted projects.
1st class build there. Absolute attention to detail. great colour scheme.
A triumph, very well done David.
Your models are so spectacular! I love watching them come together.
Bloody incredible model David.... you are a genius.
Great! Thanks David👍🏻
Outstanding! Great work!
Looking awesome! Loved these in the film
Excellent wing animation at the end, found myself rewatching that bit a few times 👍
Beautiful work! Congratulations!
That's just COOL ,Always enjoy watching your builds there all so cool .Don't think I have ever seen you do anything Out of the box ,all your builds have that special touch of yours and this one is no exception looking forward to the next video you put out Thanks
The ornithopter is the most mesmerizing job of technology mimicking biologicals in sci-fi to date IMO. I've always been a helicopter and wing in ground nut, so the ornithopter ticked my box perfectly. And as likely most of you have watched dragonflies in amazement. Their weight distribution, wing placement and even their eyes are for a super wide range of vision perfect for flight. Better I'd argue than raptors.
WoooooooW!!!! Nice work as usual.
Turned out awesome David!! This might be my favorite model you've done this year. 👍👍
Yes! The Ornithopter. So cool.
Holy shit. Now that is AWESOME! Nice work!
Great model! And the time lapse effect at the end is great.
Outstanding, really outstanding. I have been a fan of Dune since I first read the book 30 years ago. I tire of nothing related.
Marvellous work. The way you problem solve is incredible.
Wow, very cool.
Wow! Amazing build as always, but the stopmotion animation was the icing of the cake!
A pleasure to see that model in your hands, someday i want to bring one to my channel, thank you for sharing this Ornithopter !
Really cool ! Especially appreciated the stop motion at the end ! Thanks
So beautifull ! great job !
Fantastic work! Looks just like the movie!😮👍🏽🙌🏽
Really awesome work. Enjoyed the stop action animation!
Kamo radost pozerat tieto tvoje videa :D
The vids on this! Also DUNE 2 coming out soon LETS GO
The wings moving animation at the end was great!
Спасибо огромное, потрясающая модель и качество видео, очень вдохновляет, что есть люди зарабатывающие на любимом деле!) Успехов вам, лайкнул и подписался)
Fabulous! Great model from your own 3d prints and the finish works so well, lots of tips there. Plus the a animated.action at the end. Ace!
Your skill is unmatched!!!!
Damn, I made mine on my bday, glad you got it done as well. This design is MAGNIFICENT!
WOW. IT WAS WORTH WAITING FOR STARTUP SEQUENCE. GREAT JOB ON ANIMATION AND SOUND!!!!!
This is fantastic! I fell in love with this aircraft when I saw the film.
Wow, so cool, well done, sir!
Wow that looks amazing
fantastic work! I also love the choice of background music
Amazing work and then the stop motion at the end 🎉
Like the tip on fixing seams with liquid resin and a UV light.
hned poznám že jde o čecha :D typický přízvuk a hlavně šikovný ručičky
amazing build!!!!
Wow, you videos makes me want to get back to scale modeling again. I did some when I was younger
Amazing job, like alwais. Thanks for the videos
Absolutely beautiful!
I've seen people take off the supports before curing, they tend to break away easier then.
This was SO Excellent!
Well, I know what I’m printing tonight! Thanks for the tip about using UV resin for filling by the way, that’s going to be very useful!
Beautiful craftsmanship!
Beautiful!
Professional as always.
Amazing work!
That's going to look interesting with your collection of WWII aircraft and tanks! Really nice work, especially since you created it from scratch!
For resin prints it helps to soak the supported parts in warm water before removing them. It helps to soften them and make it easier to remove
This model should be in all fremen kids' rooms
Splendid work!
Awesome job.
Absolutely AMAZING!!!!
excellent work
Outstanding.
Cooool 10/10 good job can't wait for the next one 😅😮😊❤
This model looks amazing! 😍🤩 👍💪🔥🔥🔥
Wow that dust effect is very convincing.
Crzy! Well done!
Cool project
