Women get abortions because they don’t want to be pregnant. Most women are going to keep the kid if abortion isn’t available because most often parents think they’re the best person for the job.
It’s not about not wanting children it’s about not wanting to be pregnant and once the baby is delivered, the odds are they’ll keep it because parents intuitively feel they’re the best person for the job

@@kellyanne7225 Biology and nature made women so that even if they don't want the baby when they are pregnant, they can change decision after giving birth. The same way some women are giving away babies or not caring about them at all after they give birth to them as they struggle with working things out. It happens quite a lot so I don't understand why it is so strange for you...

My eldest daughter got pregnant, first time of indulging, with her boyfriend, both 14 at the time, she never ever thought of aborting, her daughter made us great grand parents a week before Christmas, she's 30 herself.

But, at the same time, I feel sad that a 14 year old young teenager felt the need to have sex, in the first place. I could tell you why I would have wanted to have sex at that age. As a man, the culture in my high school was that if you hadn’t had sex AT LEAST once by the time you were a senior, you were a loser with no chance at getting the ladies. So I felt pressured and of course did have sex, felt pretty bad about it so a few months later got in a more serious relationship, I held off from sex for like 5-6 months but I unfortunately had chosen an extremely sexualized girl who almost broke up with me twice while I held out because “it made her feel like I didn’t find her pretty” and she was extremely insistent so of course a teenage boy can only hold out on sex for so long when his gf keeps begging him for it… I’ve learned from my lessons in the past but it does give me strong regrets for not holding out until I found a better woman, such as the lovely lady I married 7 years ago.

To the violinist argument all we have to say is that a womb was designed by God as the place where the child is formed. Her womb anticipates and prepares for a child each and every month, during which time her own body's chemical makeup is altered; her entire body functions differently during these 4 stages per month (during childbearing years)!!! This is incredible!!! Therefore, her child/children, arguably, have more inherent claim to her womb than she does.

Why does nobody bring this up? Scientist have discovered that at the exact moment of conception there is, what has been described as, a brief flash of light. The hypothesis for this is that the light is the creation of the soul. Since we are unable to define, outside or religion, what a soul is we should automatically defer to a better safe than sorry mentality. If that light IS the creation of a soul. Then who are we to deny that soul existence?

The zinc is expelled to harden the egg so more sperm cannot penetrate it. This happens in most mammals. So, it’s your choice. Call it a soul or call it evolution. My understanding is that if someone kills or severely injures a pregnant woman, if the baby dies as a result, the perpetrater is charged with murder. But if a pregnant woman chooses to have an abortion, and that baby is killed as a result, it is not considered murder? Our society is so skewed about morality and moral decisions! It's so sad!
So, you want a pregnant woman to go to jail for murder if she has and abortion? What if she throws herself down a flight of stairs and has a miscarriage, or takes an herbal remedy that causes one? Do you think woman will tolerate that many women going to prison? Will never happens. Don't call it murder unless you're willing to put woman in jail.

I would’ve been a father for 8 years now, had it not been for a selfish woman that chose to chase her financial dreams instead of taking responsibility. It kills me every single day to think about what happened to my child. That baby would’ve been my best friend, and changed me for the good forever. I dream about that child almost every week, and I pray to God I get to meet them when I leave this earth. This was a hard one to watch. People that justify abortion are disgustingly selfish and completely ignorant of the reality of that horrible act. Thank you for calling it out brother.

I was bed ridden. I have HG. Extreme morning sickness to the point that I couldn’t drink water. I was so dehydrated and when I got IV to hydrate I would vomit severely. I couldn’t keep my pregnancy. I had to abort. I didn’t want but had no choice. My life was in danger.

Likewise. I think a lot of us young guys feel like we have to support it because we’re coerced by women to. I used to be the same way until I did my research and came to my senses. After doing my own research I realized there is no way to be ethically pro choice. And at the end of the day it all starts with how we treat the most vulnerable of our species, old people, disabled people, children and babies, etc.

This is a debate that will never end. Pro-lifers see the "baby" and don't give a damn about the woman or what she wants. Pro-abortion types see the woman and don't give a damn about the 'fetus'. Neither side is willing to compromise (mostly the pro-lifers), so a solution will never be mutually acceptable. That's why these discussions are just tiring.

Why doesn't anyone ever bring up the fact that two human beings decided to have unprotected sex, right then and there it morally obligated them to be responsible for what they created because they created it and now it is dependent on them without environment to grow for 9 months it will not survive so how come nobody ever asks people about that?
