As a mixed woman who was born and raised in America; my parents are both from the south but raised in the Bay Area, I haven’t experienced any racism or “systemic oppression” in my upbringing. Neither has my parents and they were both born in the mid 1950s. Oh and they black.. so that’s that. European, African and native tribal family tree. Nobody of any skin color or ethnic background was holding me back or oppressing me but ME
I am also from the bay area and I don't think I've ever seen one example of racism not even in the slightest way and I've lived here for 46 years by the way half my family is Hispanic😂

As a veteran, you can buy that jacket he had on at your local Army Discount Store. I have the same jacket with the patches of the unit I was in (1st Cav, 2-12 Cav-4-9 Cav). His jacket had nothing on it and said he got it overseas. You do not have to go overseas to get that jacket. He reminds me of the homeless guy on the corner saying they are Veteran wearing cammies....

This guy is not a veteran. Even if he happened to be in the military, more than likely was dishonarably discharged. During my 20 years in the Army I've seen numerous guys like him booted out.

My first born's oldest friend from childhood is a black girl (who grew up in my home) is today calling me a racist. Yet I’ve had to check my heart many times as to whether I was taking the low road of blaming others to excuse myself from doing the tough work of accountability and change.
