- Hey guys! Today we install my brand new Cork sport axle back exhaust on my 2021 Mazda CX30 Turbo Premium. I love this car so much. This is by far one of my favorite and best mods I have done to the CX30.

I’m Japanese, I also own CX 30 6MT. I’ve never heard like that excellent exhaust. Because in Japan, Exhaust volume is recently very restricted by law. If I were in America, I think definitely bought it. Thanks.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. All of the other exhaust I’ve seen have been way too high pitched and raspy. This one definitely has a nice deep growl/tone. Keep the CX-30 vids coming ✊

Where did you come across other exhausts. I couldn't find any other videos on cx30 exhaust mods.
Goodness me. That makes the car sound just voila. "The chef's kiss" I can't wait to receive my new CX 30 in september. If I ever do any mod to it. This would be it!
Incidentally, a turbocharger tends to quiet the exhaust more than a non-turbo, so prepare for a louder exhaust with the non-turbo 2.5.
Also, generally speaking and all other things being equal, a single exhaust is louder than dual exhaust.

Corksport is right in my back yard! They make great stuff. I'd get a cat-back, but I love how quiet my CX 30 Turbo is on my commute. Sounds pretty sweet, though...

This isn't an ad, it's an honest recommendation; get a Stage 3 performance chip from Thorton Chip Tuning. Probably the best, cheapest upgrade you can make! Plug it in for a 60 HP gain, and you're done!✌️

I got a 22 yesterday, I took factory muffler off and left it that way.
Still haven't broken engine in. It sounds tame.

i did axelback also with no muffler and it got some burble at low rpm shifting from 2-1. Was running 95 then change to e20 and had a bit more burble and was easier to reach top speed. around 4-6hp increase from 95 to e20 because of the ethanol

Not sure if I’ll ever do an exhaust, since i only have the base 2020 FWD model with no turbo or anything, but I wanna run a roof rack and some underglow in the future when I’m less broke from college :)
Edit: I’m guessing this was fairly expensive considering how niche the market for this car is 😅

The exhaust is two bolts and a few hangers..... Universal.
Mazda is user friendly.

I’ve had my 2023 Mazda CX-30 for a few months now, and I’m possibly considering replacing the exhaust as the first thing to change with the car. I’m not a good tech guy, but I was curious if this particular exhaust system would be compatible with a brand new 2023 model? I feel like it would be, but I’d rather check to make sure before I even considered buying one.
It is completely compatible, they havnt changed the build since the 2020 model of the car. Install the axel back exaust. It's affordable, and easy to install

Have you driven it on a highway yet for a decent distance? Just curious if you find there is drone and whether or not its annoying. Saw some people complaining that there is some drone with the axle back.
There is no droning with this exhaust from my experience. I've driven it on a 3-hour road trip TWICE since the installation, and I use this car as my daily. It is beautiful and I highly recommend it! :D MSG on discord or Instagram if you wanna chat more! (Info in bio)

In Australia I have a 2.0L CX-30 (non turbo available in Aust) and want to give it a bit more Ooomph. What sort of retail price USD$ do these things go for? If I order online sometimes the postage is more than the product.

Hi, great video and great exhaust system!! I just have one question please: Do both tailpipes sound exactly the same? I ask this, given the fact that the resonator is placed in just one side, and the other side is basically a straight pipe. So, is the sound the same on each side? Thanks a lot!!
Honestly, the sound is VERY deep and crisp. After a year, it sounds excellent, I love it

Really thinking about getting one. I see you are in New York state. How did the exhaust handle the road salt after a full winter? I'm in Canada and this is always a concern for us when it comes to durability and longevity. Thanks!
Absolutely ZERO erosion! Its held up so well, I'm thrilled with it!
And being in NY, did it pass the BS SLEEP Act inspection? I have a CX-5 that I want to do this to, but don't feel like wasting $600 and have the garage say take it off to pass

Didn't do anything to my mileage. You may be putting your foot on the pedal more because you're enjoying the sound. Subconsciously 😭😂❤️
@@ItsPaulThomas oh I haven't changed anything, yet my turbo gives me below 20s and I don't even drive that aggressively. Maybe it's due to lots of stop and go city traffic plus the cold weather.

Does exhaust only come from one outlet?
It's 1 pipe split into 2. 1 straight and 1 resonator
You should do a resonator delete on it also you wouldn't think that makes a difference but it really does
Oh I'm aware - I don't want to do one because it will make it lounder than I want with less bass sound hahaha
It'll make it a little bit louder but it'll actually sound a lot better so it's worth it

I want one of these so bad but they have the single worst exhaust note of any in line 4 out there literally any German i4 sounds thousand times better especially with a dual clutch. If there is any way to make this thing not sound like a vacuum cleaner somebody please let me know

I’ve been thinking about doing this to my FWD 2020 CX-30, but it’s not a turbo… is it worth doing? I want it to sound better and perform a little better, but I feel like I’d get looked down on for “ricing” up my car. If I did an exhaust I’d probably do the intake too just to complete it and make it better, but again, just not sure if I’d get shit about it. Wanna be able to show up to car meets 🥲
Regardless I love the car and I’m gonna make it last, I just hope to mod it to make it more exactly what I’m wanting to get from it.
Honestly, you shouldn't get any hate. People are lame if they do hate... and also, the exhaust should sound REALLY nice without a turbo engine. unfortunately, the turbo makes the exhaust quieter. Give it a go!

I would try getting the stock mid pipe resonator removed first at a local muffler shop. See how that sounds and if you want more, they do something like this. You would be surprised how much resonator deletes add a nice tone
