Just did my '24 hatch 6 speed manual...beautiful Magnaflow quality, perfect throaty sound. Much better for manual shifting, especially initial takeoff. Some might say the sound is a little soft, but you don't want any drone in the cabin. And you don't want to be that "attention-grabbing guy", annoying everybody he passes...
Same reason I'm looking at this muffler. Manual is hard to drive if you can't hear the engine running. Is this loud enough over stock to hear in traffic?
I'm shocked by how easy this is. So many cars these days hide everything up and over top of axles, etc and make it really difficult to get the exhaust changed. This is barely an hour or two of work in your driveway with a couple tools. I'm thinking about a Mazda 3 Sport and this has really swung things in that direction. Great video.
My thoughts exactly. I just want a fun car that's easy to commute in. I know the car isn't fast compared to many others nowadays, but giving it a little sound makes it enjoyable while not getting arrested for speeding. Drop in K&N and a catback should give it a little semi hot hatch feeling.
for anyone who still may see this, Corksport shoots themselves in the foot with shit quality audio in their own video, here is the clip in how it really sounds, not ricer at all! ruclips.net/video/IYuTXpkPuaQ/видео.html
Good to see they changed the gasket they were sending with these kits. They sent a flat gasket, think designed like a head gasket, with mine that leaked like crazy. Had to put the OEM one back in to stop the leaking.
Is this a more subtle exhaust? I want to make my exhaust sound deeper and overall better without making it obnoxiously loud like you sometimes hear on the streets. I want to keep it classy
theres a few things you can do. get aftermarket resonators, or delete. this axleback will make it a little louder, but youd want to look at catbacks or source different resonators in combination to this
We wanted the Borla system when it came out way over year ago. Borla themselfs after multiple calls and Email said it would never come to the US market it would only be in Asia. Well seems they lied.
@@jasonin2details Sounds like my experience with Corksport!! I also went to my local muffler shop and was curious if there other choices, but they would not take a look at my vehicle and would not schedule an appointment. “You can drop it off in the morning and we can research what will work.” Thanks, but no thanks!! My gut told me they were not interested in my business. Called Borla and they told me where to order (Summit) for a better price and free delivery.
Great video! Im thinking of purchasing this for my 2021 mazda 3, may I ask what did you do with the lettering on the back and the logo change? Mine are still stock chrome, did you put some kind of stickers over them?
...it should...but verify p/n. Mazda does pretty good about using the same (rear) muffler across the entire of a particular chassis. That's why the cx-9 has such tiny tips...
Love your videos. I just got the same car and I’m planning to do the same or similar mods as you’ve done to your car. I wanted to ask, are you satisfied with the sound of the Magnaflow or do you think you would want something louder? Trying to decide between cork sport, magnaflow or Borla axle back systems. I want something loud but not annoyingly loud.
It most likely the quietest system out there. Hoping it gets a touch louder after some miles. It definitely has the lowest tone on the market. We are going to order the Corksport high flow intake and the combined sound should be just right.
Hey Jason. Just got my Mazda 3 a couple months ago and wanted to “upgrade” it a little bit. What parts are you currently adding on your 3? (Exhaust, intake, etc.)
Wonder what it would sound like with paired up with the corksport mid pipe, I just got a 24 Mazda 3 hatchback and it’s a little too quiet I’m between this and borla
Men, u making me spend to much on my 2020!!!👍👍🤣🤣🤣, Keep up the good videos, can wait to get the lowering springs, getting the intake from Corksports soon!!
I got mine installed today and noticed less response from the throttle. I would have to press on the throttle harder just to speed up which means I’m consuming more fuel and reducing MPG. I think my back pressure was lost due to increased flow from the exhaust. Maybe the ECU will adjust? I drove it for 100 miles today.
Can you get a video of how it sounds 0-60? From inside the car. I’m deciding between this and Corksport. I’m leaning to Corksport, but this was a great video on an exhaust that really doesn’t have much info on it.
Hey Jason I own the 3 turbo and I know this fits on it. Would you say the exhaust works for a daily driver but still gives a decent sound. I live in an area with a lot of people so I don't want to be overly annoying
I know this is about a year late but always go with a turbo-designed exhaust system, as turbos release more back pressure and require more breathing room than N/A
I have a 2021 Mazda3 2.5s FWD, I really want to add an after market Turbo, and tune it.. but dont really know where to begin. any help is greatly appreciated
No but I still bought it and took it to an exhaust shot and they added some pipes to extend the tips other wise the bolt ons and clips fit the sedan like the hatchback. So go for it if you have the $$$ it cost me like 200$ total and the shop but I'm really liking it not to loud nice and deep enough no drone what so ever and it matches the elegance of the mazda 3 design. You can pretty much do the same to borla or corksport exhaust because the tips are just too short just need to extend them with more stainless steel pipe. Enjoy your mazda!

Just brought my 2020 GT AWD home yesterday, your videos sold me the car LOL.
Make sure you get me that dealer referral! make check to Jason and thanks....
@@jasonin2details..no check, just oil change credit...dealers "have to keep the lights on"
I have the WD40 and the exact same crowbar. Now, I just need to buy the 3 and the exhaust. Great video!
I think it is designed more for the joy of the driver than the people outside hearing it pass by. Nice update. Thanks for sharing!

I love that it’s quite but sporty. A lot better sounding than the ricer sound of corksport. I would definitely get one for my 2018 Mazda 6 2.5T

This one is by far my favorite, doesn't sound like a teen machine.
Wow great video sir. I’ve been waiting for this myself.
Sounds great
Been looking into owning a Mazda Naturally aspirated. I like this one alit ...thx for sharing taking time appreciated much
Nice dude. Not many people showing mods on this particular car, which I have. Wish Australia had the AWD version.... damn thatd be perfect.
great! its love!
Yuppp definitely getting one of these for mine this summer!
Yep… definitely going with the magnaflows on mine.
Nice video! Sounds great and not too rough. I ordered a Borla Exhaust system and I am looking forward to adding some sound to my turbo CX5.

pretty late but i loved this video, i’m getting the same system for mine now. Thank you
Thats why i do these vids! Thanks
I have a 2020 Mazda3 Astina/skyactivx, 2Ltr. Would this fit on mine? Or do you know of one that would fit?

Hello Jason, awesome mode!
Do you have any ideea if this back exhaust will bring any changes to CO2 and NOx emissions of the car?
If you’re worried about emissions you could always keep the stock exhaust and swap em out. Haha
Could you please post a link to where you purchased your exhaust, please?

Blue thread locker
Or lock nuts work well
Crush washers
That red thread locker is aggressive

MAZDA family........ i like that.........❤
Hi Jason, I wanted to know how the plastidip on the trim has held up over time! I just watched your video from 2019 want to do it on my own hatchback.
Actually still great. However we always hand wash and those auto car washes can be rough
Very nice man! Was watching your corksport springs video earlier today. How’s the ride been? Any rub when driving on humps??
Never with Stock wheels. It rids like a lowered car you can feel some bumps
@@jasonin2details Cool deal. Are you on Instagram?
What lowering springs did you get
excellent video ! where can you buy?
It is very quiet. You need to remove the Middle resonator.

good job!
Is there a link for the exhaust
What are the bolt sizes where the muffler attaches to the pipe
Is this the turbo or n/a engine?
what springs does it have?
what is size of gasket for this axel back
Nice tone, but that high pressure fuel pump off the cam drive is noisy as hell.
Good 👍
Just buy the tool for the muffler hangers..it take 2 sec with the tool
You should show us her reaction after you put it on lol
Did you put a clear bra on the front of your mazda3 for extra protection?
no. The cost was not justified. Sure could have used it
Why does it say tire pressure low at 36psi and why does it mark the RF at 36 when it shows the LF at 35?
The dealer installs Bridgestone runflats and fills them to 50 psi lol
Also forgot to mention, are you planning of installing a bike rack to the roof of the car?
lots of bicycles in my garage but we use the truck for that. Love that look though!
@@jasonin2details Gotcha! I plan on getting some for my car this summer
Have you noticed any changes on MPG?
No, seems to be the same
Jack stands? Or ramps?
Ramps was pleanty of room
Can you get this for a mazda 3 2018 saden
I am almost positive you can
Will this fit the sedan?
Nope. Tip would not extend outback far enough. My guess is they have one for Sedan that fits proper.
