How to remove ECU/ECM from your vehicle

How to locate and remove and ecu/ecm from you’re vehicle. Demonstrated on a Jaguar S type. this will be similar for most vehicle. The ECU/ECM is like the brains of your vehicle so proceed with caution and doing a little research before hand will make the job much easier. Hope this helps!

Should the negative ground be unplugged first or does it matter?

Does it have to be re-programmed, or is it plug and play? Having misfire and bad shifting, my engine code reader says it’s the ECU...will replace battery beforehand as it’s from 11/17

In my 2005 s-type 3.0 is only one big connector to computer and strange screw looks like torx with dot which hold ecu
