I'm hoping to use the battery during the high cost period of (Time Of Use) between 5PM and 9PM of .568/kwh. Price will be .372/kwh between 9PM and 9AM, then .1886/kwh. Currently electric rate is flat 43.7/kwh. The Power Wall has to help ofset the TOU change in Feb 2025
Adding two PW3s to my existing Enphase PV system. After the tax credit and utility CASH REBATE I can get them for about $4K less than what I was quoted for a 22 kWh Generac generator. My installer confirmed it is LFP and has no restrictions on the number of CYCLES. A no-brainer.

But if your EV big battery is parked 23hrs every day, then improving its Utility Factor must be most important. Fortunately liquid temperature management of EV batteries has shown life cycles extending decades. The EV battery is free with every EV, Hahaha 😆 I can see selfplug-in V2G EV featured EVs selling like hotcakes. 👍 Hahaha I can see a $60 installed std wall electrical outlet at bumper height at every car park space. Trickle current flows 23hrs every day. Rapid chargers will be at the community batteries or corner stores or basement carpark or main roads or shopping mall carpark or.... I'm just digressing again.

The concept of V2H is the MOST logical use of a battery. Far better than installed batteries, if you ask me.
