I have an autoimmune disease that affects nails as well, they have these vertical grooves all along the nail, and the nail actually grows like that(so if you look at the nail from the front the free edge is sort of "ww"-shaped). I bet that makes lifting more likely to happen.
My nails curl slightly up at the ends due to iron deficiency. No matter what I do to prep or cap the free edge my nails start lifting on the free edge within days. Any tips for working with curved nail tips to reduce lifting?
Honestly this ^^^ my nails are exactly the same. (Vitamin D & iron deficiency for me) when I changed my shape to round and keep them short to medium length (5 mm past my smile line if that makes sense) AND I scrub the base into the free edge before applying a base layer - this works. I will still have lifting on my dominant hand - only on the thumb and middle finger and it's just a little on each. That kind of stuff is normal depending on your job etc. I own an MMA gym with my husband so punching things and all the abuse my hands recieve - I can attest to the longevity using this technique. What we would do without Paola!
Congrats on the sold out class in LA!!. I'm sure they'll be more that I'll be able to attend one day😊.
Thank you! Those tickets went fast!

Scrub your base gel at the free edge & cure...then start as normal

Your nail may be too thin/damaged?
Try doing them before bed maybe it will help.
