This is definitely a good video for chronic lifters. I've always used primer and bonder due to oil nail beds, but now I know to be extra careful when the nails are damaged. Thank you for sharing!!

Hi, love your videos and your content :) I would just like to add that primers can cause allergic reactions when applied on damaged nails, just like you said, it seeps easier through the nail and it may come in contact with the nailbed. That's why it is recommended to use it on healthy, not overfiled, nails (acid or non acid, depends on the system you're using). And I love the alternative, scrubbing the base coat will definitely do wonders :)
But to keep in mind, if the nail is very thin and sensitive to touch, even the base coat may seep through it if its really liquidy. It probably won't even hold any product at that point.

Correct if nails are overly thin, or sensitive to the touch you should re-think if you or the client should instead let those nails heal, as you would experience better wear and decrease sensitivities.
In this case with my one nail, and maybe others suffering from the one nail that keeps lifting, I wanted to offer these tips... 'cause I was not about to walk with -1 😅
