What I love love love about that miracle fluid is that you don’t need to carry out forced regen which I hate doing as I feel it’s a lot of hard work for the engine and at the end of the day you never really know the engines health coolant pipes etc anything can go bang at any time so much better using that chemical amazing 😊

The underboost could also be partially caused by the blocked DPF, as the turbo needs a pressure differential across the turbine to spool up. If the DPF is restricting the exhaust flow severely it is going to prevent the turbo from making boost, causing bad combustion issues and filling up the DPF even more.

@@ORileysAutos Pretty sure that's what is happening with my Citroen Dispatch. It's always felt a little gutless since I had it, then back in March it went into limp and subsequently failed it's MOT on an Engine Management light; they diagnosed it and replaced the throttle body. A grand later and problem (and the old fault code I was getting) did go away but it seems a little gutless still, it's throwing up errors again now, so I bought an OBD2 reader to read off the codes, and I'm pretty sure I'm looking at a blocked DPF. It's booked in to have it cleaned next week, and I'm hopeful that'll be the end of it. I need to get a tow bar fitted to it, but I'm not going to be towing anything with it being as gutless as it is right now.

Great videos. Very helpful. Thanks. Have you had an issue with intercooler air temperature sensor on these vans? I have had a engine service light after driving for a hour or so, with no loss of power and doesn't go in to limp mode, which disappears when the ignition is turned off and no error codes. Saw online than this is similar to problems with the intercooler sensor. Took out the sensor to test it, got about 10 kOmhs. Apparently a new sensor reads about 18 kOhms. But noticed the sensor was covered in oil. Bought a new aftermarket sensor but it reads less kOhms than the one on the van.

I have the same issue with my transit 2.2, my turbo went last year so had it replaced, but since fitted, on motorway driving I get the p0299 code. I also constantly smell the exhaust from the cab and I also get the oil change required warning come up, plus every few days I get white smoke bellowing out the back briefly. My engine blew up earlier this year so I had a recon fitted, but I'm still having the same issues as before the new engine. I'm at a brick wall as the garage that fitted the new turbo say they can't see anything wrong. I heard you mention you was in Luton, I'm from Stevenage which is just up the road from there, and if you're able, would love you to come and have a look. Hi Jimmy,
I have the same van - 2016 2.2 Sport. Van was driving perfectly, no warning lights on dash, then all of a sudden, while driving about 75mph on the motorway, the van started shuddering and losing power. I pulled over, had to get a recovery truck to take it to the garage. Oil leaking onto the ground. It wouldn’t start, but after it cooled down it would start, but didn’t sound healthy at all. Turns out, it split a piston. Have you any idea why this would have happened…? Van was serviced regularly, and there was 70k miles on the clock.

Pressure is good, vaporizer good, oil level prefectly halfway between the marks and reseted. Injectors tested, 1 replaced and teached. Dpf cleaned with pro machine after dismantling, then teacjed. Egr, intake valve and manifold also cleaned, actuators tested and teached. Starts on first crank, runs fine, pulls as it should. Just REGENERATES at EVERY f.kin run. Dont know what to do. When I drive its boosting in 1st but not great. Second it hits 2 gear at about 60 70km, ESP light comes up along with service message in the cluster. No EML at all, only fault that ever comes back is the underboost. I'm now being told to get the injectors checked but I'm not confident that will sort the underboost issue. Any advice mate?
