Also, while I'm at it what franchise has a stupid name or logo. To me the Jazz is already not that great of a name considered it is literally a music genre like can you imagine the New York Rappers, or the Los Angeles Pop, or the Nashville Country, or the St Louis Blues...Oh wait. Anyways, Utah has nothing to do with Jazz, that name comes from the New Orleans Jazz who relocated to Utah and kept the name for who knows what good reason. I kind of don't like the Grizzlies, Memphis doesn't seem to attract too many fans and seems to struggle with filling up the arena along with having hardcore diehard fans, they have no culture. Everything about them is so just so meh. Plus the Pelicans are another franchise I don't like. They are terrible at filling up seats, that arena is always so empty and it seems nowhere cares about them. I think their logo is decent but a fucking pelican? Like that's not an appeal sports team name to me. If we do move a franchise to Seattle it should be the Pelicans sorry. As for the Nuggets I really like Denver. Nice city and they have many great fans. They really seem to like their basketball team but...the name.. a Nugget? It's cringey. It kind of reminds you of like chicken nugget. Idk even just a Nugget an actual Golden Nugget which is what they are sounds stupid to me. Like I get the whole gold thing but could they have chosen a better name related to gold. Also their logo is really ugly sorry. They do have some of the best colors and jerseys though hands down, Nice font and word mark, Baby Sky Blue, Burgundy Red, and Golden Mustard Bright Yellow, and Marine Dark Blue, plus their rainbow jerseys all fire. But yeah that logo, don't love it, don't hate it too much but not that great, I feel they could do alot better in the name and logo. The Magic logo is also not that good. Not terrible but no that gre.
In an alternate universe KD hits the shot in Game 6 which leads to Steph joined OKC and them becoming multi champs with Steph being 17,18s Final MVP. Westbrook was was MVP in 18(Harden 17). In 19 steph is injured in Finals and KD sees Westbrook getting hurt while team already felt weak against raptors with kawhi without Steph and slams the ball in agony, but later it is found that it was a cramp and they went on to win in Game 7, THREEPEAT. KD finally got his well deserved Finals MVP. Steph and KD leave OKC in search for their own team, Westbrook has a thankful farewell speech for them and promises to beat them in coming seasons in a friendly way.
Video-Game-Dame is SO Cold Blooded!!! From a team with THREE MVPs to this year's playoffs where Dame says "Here's 50, Bye Bye"! OUCH! The Seattle Supersonics will have their revenge!!! P
The only thing I would mention is yes it was about the money with Harden but is was more on the fact that the owners didn’t want to pay luxury which they are now paying for signing Paul George. And at that time everyone felt keeping Ibaka over Harden
I’m an OKC fan and I can’t believe they chose Westbrook over Harden and KD 🤦♂️ worst decision they ever made. Now as fans we’re stuck with watching a stat hunter that probably will never win a ring as long as he’s the face of the franchise. They should’ve traded Russ instead of Harden. I can imagine how many rings OKC would’ve had by now if they kept Harden instead. Both KD and Harden are coachable, Russ isn’t.
People forget that the Grizzlies would punish people down low and had wings to slow the Thunder down. Lob city was also a threat and Ibaka was able to hold Blake to low percentage. Ibaka was needed for the NBA at that time during the transition period.
@@ericdupree8603 Cavaliers had a better playoff record than Warriors and they won NBA Finals 2016 despite being down with 1-3. Something that has never happened before in NBA Finals history. Having a 73-9 record don't mean a shit without an NBA Championship :)
Being a Thunder fan is pain. There's the injuries. If it's not the injuries its the opposing team having a crazy comeback. If it's not that it's PG or Westbrook making bad decisions. If it's not that it's the lack of shooting. If it's not that it's the terrible coach in Billy Donovan. I guarantee you 70% of Thunder fans are not satisfied with their team. The other 30% have mental issues.
You forgot that after sinking the dagger that sunk the Thunder, Lillard, the starting point guard for the Sonics' old rival team, had said "yeah, that was for Seattle".
The curse ended when all players left OKC hence the playoff run. But it may follow the players BC Kd got hurt again, harden lost in wcfs, Westbrook is now with harden but same result, maybe if KD comes to Houston to break curse or a team needs to come back to Seattle but we’ll see.
The harden trade honestly is not as important as the key injuries to one of their top players 3 years in a row and russ and KD choking in 2016. Without the injuries or the choke job, they most likely make another 2 or 3 finals appearances
Dennis Engram yea fr but everybody wants to make it about harden. Yea the trade ended up being stupid in the end but it's not like the thunder needed him since they could've made the finals in any one of those years since he got traded
lmao now i'm really thinking what a harden and durant led OKC team would have been like. Take away Russ' questionable shooting and that could've been crazy
@@joeynetland8586 I mean yeah. Every player in history has taken questionable shots. But you would be hard pressed to find someone who would take Russ' shot selection over Harden's. One can hit threes on a pretty consistent basis while the other is notorious for forcing three pointers he rarely makes. Dom even suggests himself that he thinks harden and kd would probably have a ring by now in OKC if they would have traded Russ instead. So yes, you're right that Harden takes questionable shots, but to argue that him and westbrook have an equal level of poor shot selection, i personally disagree.
Now they have a new big three of shai, Chet, and jdub with Giddey sprinkled in and they are legit one of the best teams in the league. Will that core win a title or will it follow the same path as russ, harden and Durant.
Lol, what Clippers curse?

As a Thunder fan, Westbrook is out of his prime, and not the same Westbrook he thinks he is. He's not the hyperathletic superstar he was.
Yep.. And because that athleticism is dropping, he's trying to become a shooter. And that's a bad thing..
Are you serious his 23-11-10 says otherwise. 🤷♂️ but I do agree he isn’t as athletic as he used to be
You cant be outta ur prime averaging a triple double 😂😂😂
he needs to make some serious changes to his game
revisiting in 2023
2020-2021: 75% chance at a top 5 pick, one protection hit and our own pick fell to 6...

Video-Game-Dame is SO Cold Blooded!!!
From a team with THREE MVPs to this year's playoffs where Dame says "Here's 50, Bye Bye"! OUCH!
The Seattle Supersonics will have their revenge!!! P
The best Thunder team was '13, when Beverley effed us with his unnecessary hustle. I live in OKC.
Anybody takin you through step by step on how he placed his cursed might be legit
Like if dom is the 🐐
Thanks for the double upload today dom!
I was just watching Sonicsgate last night
F'n clay bennett and that dbag starbucks guy schultzy.
All the way from Belize!!!!! Love this channel 🔥
Who would win noobmaster69 or thelegend27
The Clippers should move to Seattle to complete the circle and end all curses
Whos here after they lost Westbrook too?
Clippers are so much older than OKC. And idk why Russ gets so much hate.
His selfishness drove Durant away
@@Juan_rivera Durant literally said Westbrook would be one of the only reasons he would've stayed
Drason Vender we all know Durant was lying
People forget that the Grizzlies would punish people down low and had wings to slow the Thunder down. Lob city was also a threat and Ibaka was able to hold Blake to low percentage. Ibaka was needed for the NBA at that time during the transition period.
perkins wasn't
Westbrook can't even get out of the first without Durant so far
Durant couldn’t win a championship unless he joins the best team in the league.
@@ericdupree8603 Eh... Last time I checked, Warriors lost against Cavaliers in NBA Finals 2016.
Abu Hassan Let’s be real. The better team doesn’t always win. Cavs were a definite underdog in that series
@@ericdupree8603 Cavaliers had a better playoff record than Warriors and they won NBA Finals 2016 despite being down with 1-3. Something that has never happened before in NBA Finals history.
Having a 73-9 record don't mean a shit without an NBA Championship :)
@@abuhassan8849 pretty sure an NBA regular season wins record actually means quite a bit, with or without a chip
this video is aging well!
Im punching the air rn.
That consistency though I was just watching your last video
I'm from Seattle and I'm still pissed that we got are team stolen 😠
Yoooooo 2:06 has me dying
The curse strike again!
That double upload tho 🔥🔥
Yay new video aka new banger from Dom!!
The basketball God's weren't done with the thunder yet, the curse continues.
These draft picks are about to be busts
@@arionstarks4640 This did not age well.
As a Seattleite, thank you 🙏🏾🙌🏾 We’ll be back soon.
Pay for a new arena
Johnathon McFarland no, not with taxpayer money.
The curse ended when all players left OKC hence the playoff run. But it may follow the players BC Kd got hurt again, harden lost in wcfs, Westbrook is now with harden but same result, maybe if KD comes to Houston to break curse or a team needs to come back to Seattle but we’ll see.
Who's here after both Paul George AND Russell Westbrook left the Thunder in the 2019 offseason?
I have no idea what the odds of two 3-1 comebacks in the same postseason happening would be but now I want to know lol
The harden trade honestly is not as important as the key injuries to one of their top players 3 years in a row and russ and KD choking in 2016. Without the injuries or the choke job, they most likely make another 2 or 3 finals appearances
Injuries killed this team
Dennis Engram yea fr but everybody wants to make it about harden. Yea the trade ended up being stupid in the end but it's not like the thunder needed him since they could've made the finals in any one of those years since he got traded
This is so painful to watch... condolences to OKC residents & fans
5:32 James Harden is trying to do the Mamba face😂
One of your best vids ever. no doubt
I don't think it's a coincidence that since the thunder needed the officials to beat San Antonio in 2016 that they haven't won a playoff series since.
Clippers curse? Have you seen this offseason? Lmao.
Lol the clippers is only a FA destination now because donald sterling is gonw
Hindsight
lmao now i'm really thinking what a harden and durant led OKC team would have been like. Take away Russ' questionable shooting and that could've been crazy
William Dancer so harden doesn’t take questionable shots? In what universe is this true?
@@joeynetland8586 I mean yeah. Every player in history has taken questionable shots. But you would be hard pressed to find someone who would take Russ' shot selection over Harden's. One can hit threes on a pretty consistent basis while the other is notorious for forcing three pointers he rarely makes. Dom even suggests himself that he thinks harden and kd would probably have a ring by now in OKC if they would have traded Russ instead. So yes, you're right that Harden takes questionable shots, but to argue that him and westbrook have an equal level of poor shot selection, i personally disagree.
Music to ears
Now they have a new big three of shai, Chet, and jdub with Giddey sprinkled in and they are legit one of the best teams in the league. Will that core win a title or will it follow the same path as russ, harden and Durant.
Even when everyone writes the clippers off they somehow come back even stronger
Lmao gotta do part 2 soon now that Paul George is gone and Westbrook might be next
Don’t forget lil B put a curse on em
The most powerful curse ever
