Amazing story and very touchable. These type of stories are everywhere, we might hear some and might not hear the others but for sure they are lots of people who are like this. And oh yes sometimes meeting one person can change your whole life to either bad or good. I found a Higher Power via Alcoholics Anonymous, started reading the Bible for myself and met God and accepted Jesus in my sinful place. The two most important books I read to unlearn what I was taught were "The Road Less Traveled" by M. Scott Peck and "Mere Christianity" by C. S. Lewis. I've been awakened for seventeen years! Thank you Jesus.

Michael said the movie was a lie when it came out and I never trusted the Tuohys. They're sitting there patting themselves on the back when Michael was already doing good in school, was an All American high school player. All Michael need was a place to sleep. He couch surfed. He would've made it without these predators.
You have no clue what you're talking about! _"when Michael was already doing good in school"_ - even in his own book Michael published over a decade ago, even he claimed he barely showed up for class and his grades were dismal. The Tuohy family in FACT hired a private tutor for Michael who worked with him DAILY to get his grades improved just so he could go to college. Stop pushing nonsense!!!

What a family!!! I can say that Michael was lucky, but that same luck goes for the Tuohy too, not for the mony, or a roof, but yes, the love of a good son and goos parents. Those people are incredible, It's a family that millions of other families just wish to have that love. Even Sandra Bullock cried in the oscars 2010, i also cried watching The Blind Side!!

The Tuohy family didn't negotiate or sign anything that had to do with his football contracts or even the contract that Michael himself signed with the movie studio!!! Michael was 3 months away from the age of 18 when the conservatorship was started for him because the conservatorship did make him family in certain legal aspects that was needed for him at that time to join Ole Miss as a Tuohy family member among other things! But the Tuohy family NEVER signed nor negotiated for Michael any legal contracts in his NFL career nor is he even making such claims! LET ME REPEAT... even Michael is NOT claiming the Tuohy's signed, negotiated or profited a dime in his football career that earned him $34 million dollars! The Tuohy's never used the conservatorship to control any aspect of Michael's life. EDUCATE YOURSELF PLEASE ON THE FACTS OF THE CASE AND WHAT MICHAEL IS SUING THEM FOR!

And I choose to believe the truth of the Bible because it says God's Word is truth, and I spent 44 years being led astray from abusive people who told me they were speaking what was true. We all have a story to tell. I believe there is a reason to believe such a God exists because His word says there will be a judgment day--a day of wrath--and being the one on the side of what you speak of (physical, emotional, and verbal abuse), I find comfort in a just and loving God who will settle things.

I’ve only seen The Blind Side once or twice, but I found the story of Michael very sad and interesting. Finding out the Tuohy’s have been capitalizing off of his stance in football is downright disgusting.
