I have watched this movie for the 2nd time today. What struck me it lifted my spirit cause I realised it wasn't about race..it was about a motherly love for a kid...a big kid ..but a kid who who needed help and support. A true human story, that showed what love can do and change peoples lives!

I am not a movie marathoner but when I watched this movie I told to myself, “this should be a true story” and it is. Nice movie very inspiring changing that boy’s life but instead she said, HE’S CHANGING MINE.
I have two sons, one with downs and the other had medical problems. The private school fought it at first until we were willing to sign docs that we would not sue if they kicked the boys out. After about three years, the owner of the school came to me one day and said I just want to apologize for how we treated you. She said we always thought we were your blessing, but we have finally figured out that your boys are our blessing. Asked for forgiveness. Just a special moment.
This movie showed people that it’s very important to help a girl or boy, who’s crying, needs to sleep,have someplace to live,eat and be loved. A child black or white this child needs you and wants to live, to be some thing♥️😂
Sandra Bullock is my favorite Actress and one of he top 5 Actors in Hollywood. I bought 4 DVD’s just in case. She is simply the BEST !!!!!! What a movie. America can learn a lot from this magnificent film based on real story. I also loved Sandra Bullocks speech after receiving the Academy award. Georg Clooney must have officially apologized for his rude and ungentlemanly conduct. I stoped watching his movies immediately after I heard what he did to Sandra Bullock, Never watched a film where he is acting till the present day.

Wilton Chulung, there is no such thing as "white people." White is the absence of color. Black is all colors combined. Every human has some sort of variation of skin color and I bet that you don't know why.
When I was 18 years old my Mom kicked me out in inner city Houston. A white family took me in and took me shopping, and help me decide which career path I wanted to take in college. These things happen and even though you feel that it’s demeaning to depict it on a Hollywood screen, it changes lives. I love them, they love me and color doesn’t matter in our relationship.
