I totally wanted to marry Sandra Bullock's character in this movie because of the way that she portrayed her. If the real LeighAnne Tuohy is a fraction like the portrayal, that is one blessed family.
Igor Schmidlapp there is a RUclips video of the real mom and she is EXACTLY as portrayed . What a great family .
I mean the real husband was shocked cuz when he saw the movie he thought how it was posibble to play LeighAnne perfectly
My sister in law is just like this. I couldn't believe it when I watched the movie for the first time. She is great, don't get me wrong, but I couldn't live with her.

Quinton Aaron plays Big Mike brilliantly! The shiness and pain in his eyes is conveyed so clearly! Both him and Sandra Bullock make this movie a masterpiece and timeless classic! What a great portrail or humanity and life's stuggles!

Este es joven tuvo una infancia muy triste separado de sus hermanos por el halcolismo de la madre. En el hogar de los Colins sigue en la escuela, le compran ropa, vicitan ka escuela para ver que se puede haser, comiensa en equipo de futbol y cambiandole la vida totalmente y a su vez el le cambia la vida a la familia. Recomiendo que la vea. Si todos hicieramos lo mismo por el projimo la vida sería diferente. Si es llorón o llorona como lleve un rollo de papel toalla, llorará hastas quedarce sin lágrimas. Recuerde que fué un caso de la vida real.

No way! A lie? Hollywood NEVER lies!! Hahahahahaha....its a movie not a documentary. And as foul as the Leanne character is in real life, Sandra's Oscar was earned on her acting abilities, of which the Academy of Motion Pictures voted as the best of the best. She doesnt need to return anything. If anyone needs to return anything it's the real leanne who should return the hundred of thousands if not millions her family swindled Michael Ohher out of..

They went to trial over it and gave a mountain of documentation stating all monetary matters to do with him and that they made very little from the money for the writer of this movie or from Michael himself. Plus the screenplay writer also provided documentation of how much he paid for their stories. Sure a lot of events in the movie are made up to make it more interesting but that's normal as it's a drama movie not a documentary of his life. Michael in his first book he stated that it was a Conservatorship not an adoption but then he got married, retired as a pro football star and then his wife wanted access to all the money he had which wasn't possible because the money he had earned was meant to last the rest of his life. They went to court, guardianship is cancelled and they are going broke fast. The family are worth 250 million dollars, they don't need or want any of his money

It was meant to be lived on for the rest of his life. So she convinced him to turn on the family who saved him from the gutter and the fiasco court trial. During which the family presented a mountain of documentation stating all monetary matters to do with him plus the writer of the screenplay for this movie also provided proof of how much he paid for their stories, spoiler it wasn't much. Now his guardianship is gone leading to him now going broke and his wife thinks she is entitled to some of the 250 million dollars that the family are worth. Nope.
