If’s this movie was made in Hollywood by the people who runs Hollywood, you will not have a black movie encouraging black people to go after their dreams at the end of the movie, Hollywood only shows the exhausting struggle, every black movies have the same problem- black boy is a drug dealer or gang member, And the mother in the movie always angry or not rational, and when the black boy at the white girlfriend house, the house is very beautiful, why he’s is not dating a poor white trash, because there are more poor white trash in America then rich white girl, but’s, the stereotype is, all white peoples have money, so…. The movie was a trashy movie, because I know what’s Hollywood are pushing into our brain. We ( black people) need to wake-up..Hollywood is very evil towards making black people image positive in movies or commercials and T.V.
This movie is really emotional, like i could feel her pain It's not easy to take responsibility when you are just a child. It's really hard for kids out there

Movies like STRIVE ought to be garnering Oscar Nominations, and should most definitely be winning them, instead of being castigated as B-movie fodder, worthy of Razzies! Kalani's story is a global story of succeeding against all odds because when the going gets tough, the tough gets going! Her story is also testament that the Scriptures never lie, because Apostle Paul tells us: “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength but with your testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). I wish I had those thoughts when I was young
What you're saying is very true but with a lot of manipulative girls out there who'll play celibate. Look at the person actions not words
Maybe, not being alone with a boy to avoid teenage pregnancy or assaults .
I got pregnant by my bf once I found out I was carrying his baby I called him and said "Hey Lea I'm pregnant ," he says to me oh yah by who and who's army saying it's not mine and hung the phone up on me , I called him back and he had blocked my number
So ...I had my baby , I had a healthy baby boy , the courts had Lea do a test and YES HE WAS 💯 % THE FATHER , BUT HE TURNED OUT TO BE A DEAD BEAT FATHER DOING DRUGS PARTYING With Buddies ALL THE TIME , HE TRIED TO KILL HIMSELF ONCE NEVER SUCCEEDED, I TRIED TO Help HIM GET Back On TRACK
BUT TO NO AVAIL I Kicked HIM OUT
BECAUSE HE TRIED TO GET VIOLENT Towards ME KICKING THE COFFEE TABLE AT ME WITH OUR ONE MONTH OLD Baby IN MY ARMS
I CAUGHT HIM IN BED WITH MY NIECE SO I BROKE UP WITH HIM
So he went out and took pills that
Were laced with fentanyl and he was found dead in his buddies couch I tried my hardest but I had to protect our baby from the violence he was trying to inflict upon me he could've hurt our son so I had enough with his childish BS
So now I raised our son on my own
He went through school with flying colours he graduated with honours
His name is Montana'sky he's now 19 years old he's tall 6'4 handsome smart and now attends college to be a FBI AGENT IM SO PROUD OF HIM SO I NEVER PUT HIM IN HARMS WAY BECAUSE HIS dad turned violent towards me and could e killed out son when he kicked the coffee table at me that night when Montana was only one month old in my arms
So I did the right thing by putting our son first
I'm proud of my son who he turned out to be .Life's challenges 💔 this no is hits home for me I can totally
