Good video for me because I have a genuine interest in getting a cayman but also have a very keen interest in watches!! Look forward to seeing your next watch but equally look forward to the new car purchase too!
So funny. Exactly what I have just done. Sold the Cayman, bought another watch 😂. I will wait a year or so, but don’t know what I fancy. The 981S though is such an epic car and I’m glad I owned it. Had mine 5 years which is longer than normal for me.
Have to fill the wait with something 😂 what watch are you getting? It is. Big boots to fill. I have come full circle I think and looking at r8 v10 plus gen 2 or 718 gt4 pdk again 🤣
@ I bought a pelagos 42 a year or so ago, which I love but the day I bought it I had actually gone in to buy a superocean with the Tiffany blue dial on black rubber. The Tudor just did a better job of being a subtle daily whereas the brietling is a bit more dressy. I always said though I would be back for the brietling 😂. Car wise I had the Cayman for 5 years and as I think I said in one of you earlier vids, my Cayman was almost identical to yours in colour and spec. Loved it but time for a change. 718 GT4 manual for me! But probably a year or so away yet. Keep up the watch vids. They are great, though I still struggle changing that bloody strap 😂👍
@s10lucky oh nice, both the Breitling and Pelagos are great watches. The GT4 is great bit aren’t you concerned it’s too similar to the 981s? I know it’s a different engine, more modern tech, more aero etc but it’s quite close in many ways. Have you looked at any other options for a next car?
@ for me the fact that it’s manual will be a big difference. I loved the PDK but missed a manual. Had the Cayman been manual I may not have sold it. Plus I love the way it looks. My other two options are an Emira and a new Civic R. Totally different😂. My daily is a Tesla Model 3 performance which is an incredible car and anything else feels slow 😂.
@s10lucky I would avoid the lotus. The drive train is the same as the Evora and the gear change is not enjoyable. It can’t be rushed and is a bit finicky. Be interested to see how you get on with a test drive.

I would recommend them to anyone who is considering one. Just undertake due diligence and enjoy them.
Nice! Did you end up selling?
In the process of a deal going through.

So why are you selling and what fo you think will be the replacement?
Did you make/lose much on the buy and sell prices
Just feel like after 3 years I want to move on. Most likely an Audi r8 v10 plus gen 2 but not for a year.
I did well. Lost 3k. I bought well though.
