Ah yes, delicious Stoli ™. Only thing that keep tovarischey warm on cold Siberian night. Remember, if it not Stoli, it clearly made counterfeit kartoffeln. Stay lit, druz'ya.
Exactly. It’s DA SHIEET. 💯💯 My go to vodka since the time of your comment. Yeah been drinking it for two years now. My go - to since then. Haven’t seen much of this show back then until few months ago. Great show.
When I saw this moment for the first time I didn’t believe, because Murray has bloodied soldier uniform and an american accent and this is very noticeable, so I think he wouldn't even be allowed into the shop by security not to mention secret russian military base with laser. Sometimes it is actually more difficult to enter the cinema in Russia. And don't talk about vodka, the guard will think that you are drunk and kick you out.
@@fender8372 realistically, it only breaks immersion if you’re a russki The show is intended for American audiences who still do not like communism, and when they hear a Russian accent, they uphold suspension of disbelief, which bypasses the unbelievability of a guard falling for a heavy accent. At least it’s actual Russian, and not a terrible rendition from the 80’s.

Soviet guard: Hmmmm….. bearded dude with big Jew fro? Check. Heavily American accented Russian? Check. Middle aged dude with Stalin tache who doesn’t talk? Check. “Nothing to see here, move along”
Sorry guys, but as a Russian speaker no way this guy could have bypassed the guard lol. He has a noticeable accent. Funny scene in the context of a show though
@Artur Bruen Rosin you are right, though it absolutely does not work for an American accent if we take the historical period and the context of the show into account
Everyone going on about the accent. I'd be more worried about the facial hair both have, the fact that they are both in their mid forties and don't have corresponding rank to match their maturity.
I make film music videos please check them out!
As a Russian I find this hilarious how Russian soldiers ignore that broken Russian accent
Well since in slavic and i have heavy accent too, you could clearly tell that im not native russian, but slavs usually dont care cuz we recognize it.
Ору.
Его бы точно попрали взашей, да, но актёру все равно респект за то, что пытался говорить настолько чисто, насколько мог.
Wouldn't a bit of an accent be plausible when, despite Russian being the main language, Russia wasn't the only Soviet republic?
@@thedoctorg02 Yeah but he had an American accent which isn’t plausible at all
He could be Borat from Kazakhstan which was part of the USSR back then
Tried Stolichnaya today because of this scene. It's a very smooth, extremely drinkable vodka. I'd give it 8.5/10.

Ah you found it comrade! Nothing keeps the night smoother than day like a bottle of Stoli.
Give Chopin and Luksusowa a try while you’re at it!

@@The_Honcho Oh yeah. Luksusowa is lit vodka too. My other favorites as well.
I can’t help but cry of laughter when ever I see Murray interact with the Russians😂
Not gonna lie, Winona Ryder looks good in a Soviet Uniform.
Winona Ryder looks good.
Simp
Most attractive people still look attractive in Soviet uniforms.
that's exatcly what the warden of the russian prison in the 4 season said about her when he saw her at fisrt time in person.
Murray’s face after he makes the joke about the drink crack me up.
The best vodka
Im gonna have to give it a try some time
It’s awesome stuff, I get a bottle every month the best stuff
The accent was strong ngl
He did it again In season 4 😂
Murray is the best agent anyone can hire.. if there’s an apocalypse i’d pick him to be my insider fr.

Party breakeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr❌🧐
No. We and the guard all know for a fact that: Vodka drink you in Soviet Russia 😛🥂
My thoughts exactly, it totally ruined feeling of immersion
It's fictional.........

When your crush says a joke
I love these comical scenes ln series & movies with seeing soldiers smile. This made me laugh along with them.
When you realized the Stranger things is in the same time as the Soviet Union is still alive
N...no it isnt...
It is tho, they are in the 80-90s, the cold war and Red army were still a thing
@@tzeentchmundi44 yup Soviet Union lasted till 1991

It was funny that Murray dislikes the Russians.
But after he mingle and had a good conversation with them. He find it hilarious when talking to them.
Great performance comrade
Hopper's face in the thumbnail
The best of Murray speaking russian ! XD
I can bake him a casserole lmao
A Russian soldier could never eat a belly like this sentry.
I love Murray 😁

Murray had a uniform with the rank of Mladshiy Serzhant, a Junior Sergeant, and he's in his early 40s. nothing wrong with that
Обожаю пить водку. Ещё с селёдочкой, да под хлебушек, ух
Sounds horrible but if you get drunk enough I guess you won’t notice anymore.
Love murray lol
The guard should’ve known something is up with the dude smiled
Russians do not smile unnecessarily
So I was thinking, what if 11's sister also helped in infiltration in base , it would be too easy to destroy the machine and get out, right?
Funny thing is, Hopper looks like Joseph Stalin in that uniform.
joyce is so adorable in sovyet suit
Yeah she looks very russian idk why, maybe she is half russian.
Russian Soldiers Russian Infantry and Russian Commandant likes Goldeneye 007
