Boondocking Mistake in Newfoundland!

We continue to explore the amazing Newfoundland. We camp at Shallow Bay campground in Gros Morne, get caught in a precarious boondocking situation in Baie Verte, drive the infamous Dorset Trail, walk on the Bishop's Falls trestle, and learn about the Beothuk People in Boyd's Cove.

Cow Head is one of the best kept secrets in Newfoundland. It is heaven on earth. I've sat on Shallow Bay beach on a sunny day and been the only person on that beautiful beach! If you're visiting, put Cow Head on your itinerary. And the theatre festival in the summer is amazing.

What a great time with history and views! I almost sunk our Jeep and Aliner camper in the Colorado River a few years ago boondocking in a wash near the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge.... woke up to the water level at our doorstep! The water was "so far away" the evening before! lol. Glad all is well with you and I'll look forward to more soon! Cheers! Pete in Arizona - KI7LIL

BTW you are not in the Maritime Canada. You are in Atlantic Canada. Maritimes includes Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI. Newfoundland and Labrador is different. Really enjoying the videos. Grand Falls and the paper mill there was the biggest in the world when it was built and we fed the biggest Newspapers on Fleet Street in England.
