On the carb Linkage just need to reverse it in a different configuration by flipping it inwards for the clearance of the alternator it will work the same ..
Why did you swap in a 009 Dist. I’m just wondering why not running a vacuum advance. I have read both sides of the argument just looking for your 2cents worth. I am a vacuum advance guy that’s my 1.5 cent
I don’t have a preference one way or the other. On a stock engine they both do fine. It’s just easier to find a good used 009 than a good used vacuum advance.
