    Finally finally, I found this video and this product to solve my Thule T2 Pro storage problem. Just ordered one from Amazon right after watching this.

    I agree with Anges F, not only did I find the Rack Stash, but a video explaining it. Outstanding! Thank you

    Thank you for the review and showing how you installed it. It helped when I installed mine this past weekend. My garage is sinter block walls where the three bolts go more than through the sinter blocks themselves. It still seems totally solid to me even with sinter block only, no studs of course and not solid sinter block.

      I have the T2 Pro XT as well and just got the Rack Stash off Amazon. I had been researching this product for awhile and am very very pleased with the way it looks, plus no longer tripping over the Thule when it was on the ground is a major relief. One time, it actually fell onto my wife’s bike and toppled hers in the process. That was when I looked for a solution like this

      Greg, did you end up doing this? I'd like to know what the total depth the 1UP rack comes out from the wall when attached to the Rack Stash? Thanks!

    With this would work for my north shore. But the 6 bike version is far beyond 90

    • @MTBMA
      @MTBMA  3 года назад

      1 up says recommended max weight of 90 lbs, so I wouldn't push it further than that! The NSR website lists the 6-Bike Straight at 69 lbs, and the reg 6-Bike at 72, so if you have either of those you should be good.

    Umm the 2” version on your Amazon link is 150. The 1up link is 59. I was like 150 bucks. No thanks.

    Why don’t you use your rack in the winter?? Ride straight from the house?

    • @MTBMA
      @MTBMA  Год назад

      Rack gets SOME use these days in the winter with Fat Biking throughout New England but really depends on how much snow we get. There’s been a few years we can ride through December on dirt in parts of Ma if there’s not much snow!

    Can you hang a cargo carrier upside down? Am I put the rack stash higher up the stud and have the carrier hang downward? Thanks!

    • @MTBMA
      @MTBMA  2 года назад

      I THINK it would work. The upper/lower holes are meant for storing a ball hitch but I think you could slide a cargo basket in vertically and use a hitch pin to keep it in place.

      @@chadhelvey7827 going on year 4 and it’s been super solid. Love the sliding/adjustable trays and how light the rack is in general. Only complaint is the release button for the front wheel holder is kinda janky. I have friends with Kuat and they are very pleased, and that sounds like a solid price!

    Can the screws included can be mount on brick wall?

    • @MTBMA
      @MTBMA  3 года назад

      You would prob have to get specific masonry screws as the ones included look to be made just for wood studs.
