I’m reminded of the Song of Deborah and Barak in the Book of Judges where it says ‘When the Princes of Israel take leadership and the people willingly offer themselves, Praise the Lord’. The entire song praises the leaders of Israel primarily for their role in protecting, defending, advancing, progressing, prospering, blessing the nation of Israel. This is the prophecy being fulfilled even till this day!

Eli Wiesel wrote Moses was the greatest leader because either God was against him or the people were against him.
