This is absolutely the best Bible documentary ever. The intricate specificity of Scriptural details is astounding, with excellent knowledgeable narration, and a seamless entryway from Moses to the Messiah: Jesus Christ.
Moses literally means child, or the son of. It is an Egyptian word, and not a name of its own. Many Pharaohs had the word moses in their name, like Thutmose, the son of Thut.
When I was pregnant with my son, I did not know Jesus. However, I kept getting the thought to give him a name starting with the letter "J". The name that struck me, was Joshua. Now that I know Jesus, I know who Joshua is and that it was He who was guiding me in naming my son.
Lord, grant us the courage to be kind, the patience to listen, and the empathy to understand. Together, we can make this world a more compassionate place. 🙏❤
I love the conversation between Moses and God. 😢 Because God chooses such odd individuals to carry out His will…that makes me wonder about God’s personality and why He created humans the way he did. What does he see when He looks at us? Like Moses, many of us can only notice what we can’t do and our own limitations. A lot of people would never vote for Moses to be the leader, especially if he had a speech impediment like some theologians speculated. And yet God chose him. To me, I can only conclude that God is so wonderfully masterful in His grand plan for humanity and this world .. He is full of beautiful mysteries that He allows us to choose to play a role in… But ultimately, He must have the kindest nature to want to keep us as his companions. I never forget that we were meant to walk in the garden with Him, side by side for eternity. He could have scrapped humanity several times. We have a merciful God.
Thanks to God that He doesn't look at us the way we look at ourselves or the way other people look at us. God looks at the beauty of our hearts, not how our speech, look, height, color, gender or any physical aspect of our lives is. If we have good heart, we are beautiful for God. God is merciful as you said. God loves us and protects us even though we are sinners. God just saved from car accident today. Halaluja! ❤ Thank you God for your protection and love ❤️ 🙏

As sinners we must constantly ask Jesus for forgiveness everyday. Even if we think we haven't consciously sinned. Because we can still sin without knowing it and the Devil is a legalist. He knows God’s law like a lawyer does and he is constantly watching us, taking up legal cases against us to present to God on our day of judgement. If you have asked for forgiveness for even the things you were not aware of, the Devil will have no case against you and you will be pardoned and go free to be with Jesus in the New Jerusalem.
Wow! This was very fulfilling to my spirit and has given me solid information on how to heal my family through having unwaivering faith in God which equals justice. Thank you for everything you put into this. I got so much out of it. Thank you, Jesus Christ.
I loved this - thank you ❤ One thing I’ve never understood though. If you very literally see the waters part so you may flee the Egyptians, how on earth would you doubt God again? I mean, like no matter what happens, you know He’s there & true. It’s so perplexing
After reading your comment I literally yelled "I KNOW!" I always wonder how so many in the bible who KNOW THEY HEARD FROM GOD still asked if it was Him. Perplexing galore. And then truly how are WE in modern day supposed 2 know when He speaks to us personally? Sigh.

But Moses was really a man of patience and so control. How many times did he plead to God not to kill the Israeli? So many times.... The Israeli were just an ungrateful bunch of people and Moses just a human being also got so frustrated and it wasn't easy for him any longer seeing that God forced him to action such a tedious job. I felt God was too harsh with him in the end, it is indeed sad that after that one mistake in form of anger and after all the hard work he did, God didn't let him enter the promise d land. But I think he understood later on and is the reason he took him to an even better promised land- heaven.

it’s incredible how the story of Abraham and Issac fits so amazingly with Jesus’s death, it’s amazing if you look at it with the greater context in the Bible having to do with the crusifixion. Remember how isaac had to carry the wood he would be sacrificed on? Same with Jesus, He had to carry his cross. After everything was done God promised Abraham that He would bless all nations on earth through his offspring, which at that time wasn’t fulfilled. Also apparently God told Abraham He would provide the lamb, then God provided a Ramb instead of a lamb. He decided to provide that lamb later in time. Also after Abraham was finished there he named that place “the Lord will provide” and it says in the Bible that on that mountain it will be provided. That would be confusing without knowing what we know today. But apparently Jesus who is also known as “the Lamb of God” went and carried the wood He would be sacrificed on just like Isaac, and on the same mountain which it was predicted, and since He is the Lamb of God it also means the lamb God told Abraham He would provide was provided thousands of years later through Jesus, and through Jesus all nations on earth were blessed through His death and resurrection on that cross. And that’s how God redeemed man, and used Abraham’s and Isaac’s lives to tell a great story that happened thousands of years later.
Very well put together! One small thing, Moses did not do that in anger in the desert to the Rock of Horeb, also he didn't hit it twice. It was the Almighty who told Moses to smite the rock which means strike.
Thank you. Interestingly enough, I have never asked Who is God. I've always known who he-this great energy was, but I have always asked, Who Am I. But if I am made in the image of God, then surely I too am a reflection of that energy.
"We shall overcome because the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." Interesting quote. As far as I can tell, morals are a human attempt to avoid extra work. I believe, perhaps, if morals exist, that I have none. I do what I must, where I am, to improve my current mental state. Mostly, I refuse to do what seems harmful to others, even if it costs my life, but I will never be sure if that makes any sense. How can one improve the world around them if they refuse to survive at all costs? So, there is a battle, between morals and survival. If doing what is "socially respectable" is actually "socially irresponsible", who can call it a moral obligation? Think it over. I'll be here. I hope. P.S: What is justice? Who decides? Perhaps there is no such thing as "justice". There is only what is.

So if someone commits a crime such as murder for defending someone, should they turn themselves in and serve their sentence because it is the just thing to do, or should they go on the run and stick it to The Man like Moses?? What would Jesus say about Moses running from the law?
The “just thing to do” would be to do what the Holy Spirit tells you to do, as you can’t begin to comprehend what His plans and purpose are for you in the future. Of course every situation would be unique. I’m sure Jesus was still just as much a part of the Trinity now as He was when Moses ran, and clearly that was a part of God’s plan for him. Jesus was here since the beginning of time, so to think He wouldn’t approve of His own plan for Moses is kind of redundant questioning.
So, basically, if the exodus of God’s people is dependent on you, it is safe to say the Holy Spirit would likely protect you from certain death, such as keeping you from turning yourself in and being 100% executed 😂 are you saying Jesus would be upset Moses pursued his God-given destiny and avoided certain death?
It is a good prediction of the Cannon but, as the Cannon has you have also left out important segments of Mosheh's life. The book of Yashar and Yobelim profess that before Midyan He was ruler of Kush and fought many battles and was imprisoned in the dungeon of Reuw'el ( Yithro) his future wife's father. These and other books are a important part of Elohim's word.
Under the tutelage of a knowledgeable Jewish Levite, I diligently peruse the Bible as a devoted reader. However, I harbor doubts regarding the notion that Jacob and his descendants endured a 400-year exile in Egypt. According to the Bible, Amram was the father of Moses, while Kohath was the father of Amram, and Levi was the father of Kohath and his siblings. This lineage is explicitly outlined in the scriptures. Therefore, it is evident that during Moses' birth, they resided in Egypt for a period of less than fifty years, and an additional seventy years until Moses returned with his miraculous abilities to liberate the enslaved.
I'm the soul who was Moses. If I'm a man of God, then may fire fall from the heavens and devour you. Moses means SON OF in Egyptian. I'm the son of man. I can still rise from the dead to prove it but don't expect to see miracles without obedience to me. I command you because I'm the word made flesh. Obeying the king of kings leads to eternal life here.
Thank you for the lovely video. A question I have is about Exodus 32:27 when God commands Moses to tell the Levites to kill the people for worshiping the calf but the next day calls it a sin. I’m a little confused I know they already committed idolatry. But why would the Lord tell them to do something if he knows it’s going to be a sin? I’m genuinely asking, if anyone has information that would help me better understand this please respond. God bless ❤
Old Testament law allowed you to kill over certain sins. This was the only way to prevent Jews from abandoning the religion and turning to other false religions, you have to remember they are basically tribal in terms of what they have. They have no temples or homes and they live a horrible life so you can see why they’d want to try worshipping one of the wealthy neighbouring peoples gods. God needs the Jews to stay faithful for his plan with Jesus to work. No Jews means no Jesus and Jews that aren’t faithful will lead to no Pharisee’s to have Jesus killed. God needed Jesus death to fall inline with the scriptures. These books are 1000s of years apart so god needs basic rules to keep order while waiting for the right time to send another prophet. The commandments “you shall not kill” is actually supposed to say “you shall not murder” meaning you cannot kill a innocent person. You can kill in self defence (includes in wars) and you can kill if they break one of the essential laws that are there to maintain the correct order for the Jews at the time. Jesus changed these rules when he said stuff like turn the other cheek and love your enemy. We are no longer commanded to kill at all and instead just spread the gospels until Jesus comes back and restores earth. I know imagining why god needs to wait is difficult to understand but Jesus believe in the Old Testament and we believe Jesus is god so we need to trust the Old Testament and once we are in heaven it will make sense since we can just ask god questions
Verse 30-31 in that chapter tells us that Moses is speaking to the people of Israel about their great sin. Then Moses returns to YAH and pleads with HIM to forgive this great sin The Levites were consecrated for what they did, slaying the 3000.
Sorry you've got the Moses story in the wrong time period. But that is understandable since that was what we were taught. But it took place before Rameses II was on the throne, it took place before Siti was on the throne. I believe it was Tutoresses who ruled.

Then Moses returns to YAH and pleads with HIM to forgive this great sin
The Levites were consecrated for what they did, slaying the 3000.
He’s needed in the Red Sea 🌊 right now with his magic 🪄 stick 🧐
Sorry you've got the Moses story in the wrong time period. But that is understandable since that was what we were taught. But it took place before Rameses II was on the throne, it took place before Siti was on the throne. I believe it was Tutoresses who ruled.
Oh! we did this one. Here: ruclips.net/video/jXBk_ITk3Xw/видео.htmlsi=pMfHmUesGkI0kBrs
