Good video Zac. I think those are very versatile machines and will serve most people’s need for a portable machine. I think you would agree the straight DC machines are better stick welders but are one trick ponies with extremely limited auxiliary power that limit them in today’s work environment. Good luck with your potential move, you need more space
I’m having a problem with my Bobcat 250. It’s stick welding on the high end of the dial but barely lights up unless anywhere on the dial. Any advice sir? I put on a new reostat. No change.
So have you done any AC tig aluminum with this thing? Can't find any vidoes or pictures of anything done with the 302. I'm considering buying one for a song, in what looks to be good condition, but I'm really just considering it because 1. It'd be nice to have a generator and mobile welding for emergencies, and secondarily, it does AC Tig. I rarely do any AC Tig aluminum. Just trying to get a feel for what it's capable of out of the box, without balance/pulse/hf.
You should check out Zilawelds on RUclips and Instagram I'm pretty sure he has his setup to do that. I've never tried running a high frequency box on mine
what hz/freq do you find best mimics an sa200? im going to see what freq mine is putting out tomm. I looked through the manual I got when I bought my 302 new and can't find anything about setting the hi/low idle or hz/freq.. thanks for the video!
Can anyone tell me how to remove the control card and replace it? I have the new card $724.00 later but cannot figure out how to get the viltage nob off to remove the card. HELPPPPPP~!!!
@@DarlingtonFarm If only I can find it~~!! that was my thought but there are 2 holes on it and I can’t see inside. this machine has just 150 hours on it and maybe only 20 of that was welding time. changed the main card only to find it was bad advice, so now I am in over $1400 on new cards
Good luck on the new possible venture !!!

I dont think there is a way you can make it weld like a 200 but if its way our of spec it will weld like crap. In the manual for mine its on page 32
DarlingtonFarm okay I’ll check out the manual when I get home. Thanks
