This game got released in the same day as Smuggler’s Run for the buggy
Smuggler's Run was actually released on the same day when PS2 had launch day in NA. MCSR was releasd a day before both PS2 and Smuggler's Run was released.
this is when rockstar games made a racing game🗿,the sensation of speed like in GTA😱
Some of these engine sounds were reused from Midtown Madness.
Including NYC map.
@@apexdna But the NYC map has nothing to do with MM. The map from MCSR was converted to MM2 as a mod, but it doesn't count as official content.
I actually learned this in a documentary of the game
@@apexdnaIt's actually London returned from MM2, San Francisco (MM2) & Chicago (MM1) were the other cities in the first two Midtown Madness games.
The car mechanics and driving felt reused also. I didn’t mind it though, bc I loved MM
It could use 5-speed manual on the compact car!

There was a sound glitch where you can hear different sounds of the car
