I’m really close with my dad because I had problems with my mom, and this sing always hits hard..the feeling when he would drop me off there knowing I didn’t wanna go but I had to go because of the custody agreement. It just brings back all the feelings of the panic attacks and the feeling after he left knowing I wouldn’t see him for a week or so. He lost his dad when he was my age, so all of the random well what if he goes like my grandfather did.

This song hurts. My dad has been in prison for the last few years. The last time I saw him, hugged him, was on October 26, 2019 - his 48th birthday. These last couple years without his encouragement and experience have been hard. Luckily he gets out in February. I cannot wait to see him again, to give him a hug. Of all my siblings i'm the closest to him. I'm the oldest of 3 and spent the most time with him. I'm absolutely dreading the day he's gone forever.

I haven’t lost either of my parents, I can’t even imagine.. he is my best friend, he was my journeyman going through becoming a sheet metal worker, we rode together and worked together for 6 years.. he’s my fishing buddy, football buddy, aside from my wife he is my best friend and I can’t even begin to imagine losing him..
