It's still strange to see/ hear Decapitated play this song without Vitek and Covan, saw them at Robot Moshfest back in the day (they got this song in before they lost power and the set got cut short) right before they went back to Europe and the accident happened. You do a great job honoring Vitek, keep up the brutality Eugene.
Just found your channel looking at double stroke technique and really have been enjoying it. Travis Orbin has been one of my favorites to listen to for a long time even though I’m not a huge periphery fan. You ever think about doing a video for Brandon Burkhaulter or Luke Holland? Not the heaviest drummers but I’ve always appreciated both of their styles.
Drum Technique Academy : The world's finest death metal drummers : in this Episode, today's Lesson will be : Learn how to "NEVER trust your broken hi hat, filthy bastard only wants to plot revenge against you !"
Hi. In part from minute 1:00 to 1:07 there is a second (1:02 and 1:04) where he plays ta-ta-tatata on kick . Could you show how it's done and how to practice such thing (if it's not mistake and not accidentally).
Hey i know you dont me but you have to please check this out- the faceless- planetary duality-jena germany- Lyle Cooper on drums their original drummer
03:02 i'm a ringshot guy and i guess i bury my stick into my snare without being conscious of it, but on the other hand i remember seeing Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour, Ministry, Sepultura, Soulfly...) talking about not leaving the stick on the snare after a powerful hit (i guess because it can choke the sound a bit, cause some weird noises, and gives you more work to do for the next hit), and still have great power and tone at the same time. So i'm just saying you might be able to have great snare strokes without having to bury your stick on the snare. Maybe try to ask Roy directly about this :)
I believe he uses models that sound amazing. But they really don't pack a punch through the mix. Thought about the same thing. I would not leave paiste if I had an endorsement, those are the absolute best. But I too agree that 602s are not made for metal. I've already had a 19 rude wild crash and a 18 rude thin crash. Nothing can stand in front of those.

Just disturbed when I see some Christmas Light wrap around his body
Rimshots
I genuinely expected your cymbals to have far more punch to them
