You get the front end of your shop any cleaner and you might could get your trailer or truck bed in there. Put in a gantry crane and you're in business moving weight.

Your scrap yard is massive! My little scrap yard closed down out here in the hills a couple months ago,I had to take my shred to the city and he pulled it all out of my bed with a mag those things are awesome😮
@ Ya I’ve been taking my non-ferrous there for a long time because they pay so much better but I don’t gather up a load of non ferrous but every couple months the shred I may go every couple weeks or so and they pay the same so I’m driving a lot further with more weight for same money on the steel.
transformer steel and motor steel has abot 3 % Silikon in it. The ferro-silica alloy price is about 1600 dollar/ Ton. ( the silicon additive) So worth is about 50 -100 Dollar over prepered steal. Per Ton! it is not worth, i think. in germany all my transformer steel go as shred... but is is not so much.
oh, sorry, i look at aktual prices, and ferro silica rises to 6800 dollar/ton...in only a few years... maybe you find a buyer, my best wisches to you... 🙂

He had 5000 pounds at 8 cents a pound.
