I hope we raise lots of money for the charities involved so they can help others at the worst time of their lives ❤

GREAT FIND!!! - Decent Haul!! BUT, I have seen some water heaters that actually have BIG COILS of COPPER PIPE INSIDE!! But I never see anyone break them open and look.... Have you ever come across any with a bunch of pipe inside??? I want names , cause you are gonna get coal in your stalkings 😂 The dumps in Florida are super cheap with their prices .
Had to get rid of about 200 tires many years ago. One day this local clean up said they'd take em but only cut in haves. So i did that for about 100 LOL and ruined it for everyone else. Truthfully it cost me a lot in in HF sawzall blades, back before they has good ones at HD. The last 100 or so i paid like $2 for the majority(few larger size cost more).
We have similar waste disposal sites for household waste in the UK. Only difference is that ours are free, but you can't tip if you are commercial. We have to separate the waste by type, but it does mean that the County Council who runs the one local to me does get back money for the recyclables.
I guess we have a similar tire subsidy where I'm from. They throw them on the side of the roads and we have to pick them up ( I work for the DPW ) so,I guess the taxes pay for their removal!

I have a question: I'm new to scrapping but where I live there's a newer housing development with a lot of new builds going up. There's small open top (skips) in front of every house being built which I'd love to look through... My question is: do the Builders & Tradies get upset if people go through their trash like that? The Tradies seem to pretty much work around the clock so it's hard to find a time when they're not all over the place and they are naturally on alert & suspicious of anyone driving around as they have tools everywhere in their trucks on the street so they are always watching for 'dodgy' passers by! Should I just go for it and see what they say or are they likely to get angry?!

Would like to ask the difference of the red tank you refused to take outside someone's back yard and the water heaters you did take outside someone's back yard. I just thought you take both of them or none of them...
Totally, I understand why it would seem strange! To me the collection of crusty water heaters are clearly not getting refurbished or reused, they are headed to recycling. There’s a dozen ways the red fuel tank could still be useful so it’s more important in my mind to get the ok from someone at the address. I did ask, the person at home wasn’t certain what the owner had in mind so I left it
