No one i repeat NO ONE does it better than Tool Im 59 die hard Rush Sabbath Zep Floyd ect. fan for life But Tool fukin Tool enough said Peace to ya man
I disagree. I don't see a connection between those bands and tool. All tool songs sound the same to me. Noise, no melody, drums going crazy for seemingly no reason, screaming or otherwise unintelligible lyrics. I just don't get it.
@@myotherchannel4460you don't have to agree but it's a hard disagree for me. I'm not sure what you've listened to, but your description doesn't sound like Tool to me lol. What are your favorite bands?
@myotherchannel4460 I'm also interested in what songs you've heard. What I will say about tool is that they are less accessible than other bands, but I think that is what makes people such die hard fans. Once you crack the code and it clicks, it's amazing. And I come from a background of classic rock. I find their vibe to be very reminiscent of anything at times fromFloyd and rush to sabbath or tull. While their waves of musical styles and tempos inside of individual songs are very reminiscent of Zeppelin. At the end of the day it's all taste, but I hope you're willing to give them a fair shot.
To really appreciate this song you need to know what's behind it. It seems like a great song initially. Then, listening to it again and understanding the colossal compositional effort it hides, you understand why it is considered a monumental masterpiece. It's too long to explain it here. You should read it for yourself, making sure you find a complete and reliable source. The summary is that Lateralus is based entirely on the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio. The number of syllables in the first part of the song, the time signature, the length of the song, the number of seconds in which he starts singing and an infinite number of other more or less large details, are all numbers of this sequence. Even the lyric talks about spirals...I still continue to discover new details after years. The ironic part is that after doing so much work and calculations, TOOL tell you not to overthink....
They do not have an album coming out... They are hitting recording studios after the NA tour i cant imagine another album for maybe a year or 2 away from now at best
This is one of my favorite tracks from the album of the same name. For anyone interested in the amazing drum work Danny does throughout this song, check out my active drum transcription of Lateralus: ruclips.net/video/QuLt_3mFr-k/видео.html
Please add Decending to your list for Tool. It's a long song but half of it is just instrumentals absolutely going off and showing out. You won't regret it
Suggestion for killer epic solos check out Three Days by Janes Addiction with the amazing Dave Navarro and Reach Down from Temple of the Dog - guaranteed face melters! Thanks for another fun reaction!
their live performances are mind-blowing. They bring so much energy on stage 😍 I'll leave you with a request. You have to react to October Ends' new song, it's mind-blowing!
There is a 20 minute video about this one song and it’s connection to the Fibonacci sequence that you should watch. Spiral 🌀 out and keep going good sir
Here for Tool!!!
Tool is more of an experience than a band. Continue down the rabbit hole and Spiral Out...
Will do.

Danny Carey, not Dana Carey 😂
Also yeah Justin is great. He's the reason I picked up bass guitar.
Love this channel!
