Big smiles and then she closed her eyes and I knew we had a new TOOL fan.
Ha - I'm working on it :)
She will be..it is inevitable...if she is spiritual, intelligent, and open minded..she already is and doesn't even know it..the seed has been planted..watch it grow..😏😉
@@georgeprendergast8305 Ha, I think we are converting her song by song :)
I was fortunate enough to have Seen the Lateralus Tour in Boulder Colorado USA, now if fortune shines down on me again, I will see them in January 2022, in Denver Colorado.🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
Awesome - Enjoy! It's an awesome show this tour! (Saw them in Feb 2020 just before the shutdown)
This is becoming my new hobby, watching people discover Tool. Keep it up!
Thanks for watching - plenty mote Tool to come! :)
I second this, seeing people open their eyes, ears and minds to Tool is almost as good as experiencing them for the first time
Same hear.
PS I still remember 8 tracks. Interesting in tn this one. Interesting. He didn't mention the Fibonacci Sequence until the end. Which is what this song is based on. 🤔
6:50- trying to suppress the smile.
7:50- quietly turning the volume all the way up.
8:50- huge smile.
…and that’s how a Tool fan is born.
Great reaction. Thanks for sharing it.
..as a side note-
Black
Then
White are
All I see
In my infancy
-is anatomically correct, as well. Newborn babies only see black and white. Color perception develops later.
Thanks for watching! More Tool to come :)
Put her right in the fire on the first one with Lateralus! That big smile the last couple of minutes is priceless! I love it. Keep the Tool coming!
Thanks man! Plenty more Tool to come! (Not sure how long it'll take to through every song- but I guess we'll find out one day!)
Awesome reaction...thanks for sharing! Tool....the most unique band to ever exist.....they sound like no one and 30 years later, no one sounds like them, to be unique in a world full of music is drawn way outside the lines
Totally agree! Thanks for watching!
Keep the Tool coming and we'll keep coming back!
Thanks man - plenty more Tool to come :)
Mystical band
Totally! Thanks for watching!
One of the best songs ever created.
Yup! Thanks for watching!
OMG LOL I just said this after it ended. I've heard it a million times but these same words came from my lips just now. It really is an amazing piece of work.
@@lisajohnson521 Thanks for watching! There's a couple of other Tool tracks on the channel already, with lots more to come. Cheers
Its funny watching someone experience Tool for the first time. As we all know who listen, that moment they hear for the first time is like chasing the dragon and yearning for first time you had years ago.
Very true! Plenty more to Tool to come - maybe even this weekend...... :)
Get a little headset for the dog. Make it a full family experience.
He's very opinionated! :)
Song is 💯 perfection
100% agree :)
More Tool. More! More! More!
Don't worry mate - plenty more Tool to come :)
Love the smile at the start as the enjoyment begins, almost knowing what's coming.......but not. 🤘
Cheers - thanks for watching!
I live for these reactions! tool is the 🐐
Thanks for watching! Plenty more Tool to come!
Props to the lady for stepping up and listening to music that might not be her typical listen. Tool is special, I hope it starts a journey for her
Thank man! More Tool to come :)
She has entered the "Rabbit Hole" and will soon be Spiraling Out!🤘

Thanks for watching!
Um reactions to Yes AND Tool? Woooooo! I'm here!
Awesome track
You know it
The dog approves.
He has good taste!
All of those smiles and the fact you turned it up halfway through say a lot!
"prog rock conversion therapy" great term to sum up what the friends in my car have to go through lmao!
😂 Thanks for watching!
This was our first video and it seems like a long time ago! Well and truly on the journey now!
Must be a new version of this track, leave it to Tool to put a couple of dog barks in and to have it just fit. Amazing 🤩
You mean you don't have the special Dog Backing Vocal edition? :)
Mashup with who let the dogs out
@@RDMusicExchange 😄
the first time i listened to this album was on a beach in Thailand (i flew to Bangkok on Sept. 11th 2001) drinking mushroom shakes, smoking pot and downing cider and tequila - blew my fucking mind... good times Respect & Peace
Sounds like an awesome way to experience it for the first time! :)
@@RDMusicExchange indeed it was... go n'éirí an t-ádh libh
Right into the deep end......the only way to learn to swim with Tool.
Agreed! Thanks for watching - more Tool to come :)
Awesome reaction 🤘😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks - More Tool to come soon :)
Priceless reaction. Watching her smiles and eyes full of wonder gave me goosebumps. Keep the TOOL reactions coming. Spiral out. 🌀😵💫
Thanks for watching! Plenty more Tool to come :)
I loved the vid
Thanks for watching!
when Rachel commented on the album cover you should have given her the cd insert to look at... it's so cool, almost as cool as the cd cover for 10.000 Days Respect & Peace
I'll definitely be showing her the 10,000 Days CD when we cover a track from that album - which I think will be next. Thanks for watching. Cheers
More Tool!
Don't worry man - plenty more to come! :) Thanks for watching!
I ❤️ TOOL.
The song is Brutallll. 🎸🎸
Great song. 👍👍
From Basque Country with ❤️.
Thanks for watching!
If you don’t have smile as big as hers during the second half of this song, there’s something wrong with you.
😆 Thanks for watching, man!
reactions like this are so blessed! i love it when people just enjoy the music and dont pause 100 times to talk random shit. love to see genuine and real reactions!
Her new favorite band. Great reaction, y'all spiral out.
Awesome reaction, really looking forward to seeing more! Cheers from New Zealand.
Thanks! More to come :)
"Jammy." "It took me there." Perfection.
Cheers. More great tunes to come :)
Gotta start her on Sober Live so she sees the intensity even as young men and she can witness the rabbit hole from the bottom upwards as it spirals out!
It's on the list :)
A little back ground info on you both would be cool. Like anything to do with music? What kind of music does she typically listen to? Do either of you play an instrument? I think if you show her their progression that’d be cool. One song from each album would be interesting as well! But that dog is the loudest part of the video. Lol
Check out our latest two vids (Jack Bruce and Exploring Birdsong) for some more info on us. Thanks for watching!
Great vid. Can't wait to see more Tool. They're about 90% of what I listen to. Nothing like them 🧘🏻♂️ 👁
Thanks! Plenty more Tool to come. (Maybe even this weekend..... :))
@@RDMusicExchange Awesome! 👁✌🏼
Lovely reaction! So nice to introduce music we love to friends!
Thanks man, and thanks for watching!
Reflection would be a great track to follow up with. Not quite as heavy, but such a great vibe. Easy to get lost in the trance-inducing rhythms.
It's not what we have planned for the next Tool track, but it's on the list :)
The end of Reflection never ceases to make every hair on my arm stand up. What a beautiful one of a kind album man.
Obligatory knowledge expression; OGT93. Can't wait...
Thanks mate. You may want to check out what we release this weekend ;)
And I'm subscribed
Thanks man!
Great review!
Thanks! Lots more to come :)
as you said, it's all good. I've tried to tell first time listeners of Lateralus that the subject matter is quite fascinating. IMHO, it's Maynard's journey with a certain South American herbal brew that takes you into uncharted mental territory. Re listen to the closing, the scream, standing, crawling up his skin to his brain, the trip with spirals.
That's an interesting take - I'll have that in mind the next time I listen. Cheers
I love how you know every moment..but you know not to influence her ears/sight withyour own perception. Awesome content, love it & welcome.
Thanks! To be honest I often forget she's there and just get into it!😆
Thanks for watching, we have some more Tool on the channel, and more coming. Cheers
Damn, very jealous that you saw them in ‘93.
Doggo is in the background jealously barking...they can feel the energy lmao
Ha! Either that or he just needed to pee :) Thanks for watching!
@@RDMusicExchange Hah yeah my dog has had to spend many a time holding his bladder while I listen to Tool...rock on!
I wish I could see my face the 1st time I heard that. It probably looked a lot like that though.
Rach really gets it... I like her reaction. Cheers! :)
Thanks man :)
Day one tool fan and I love this ❤️☀️
Likewise!
and Rachel's Tool journey begins... a beautiful thing - welcome to the family Respect & Peace
Thanks man - yes she it well and truly on the journey now (not sure if you've seen our other Tool reactions, but she's digging it). Cheers
Good to see you have the lyrics...
Thanks for watching. Cheers
Tool is a lesson in music appreciation. I suggest Jambi from 10000days album
It's on the list :) Thanks for watching!
Awesome ..nuff said ⛏

Subscribed because of her soul finding a song.
Can’t wait to see what you pick for her next song🥰
Thanks for watching! Did you check out our AENEMA episode? :)

Thanks for watching.
Check out our Tool playlist for the other Tool videos we've done so far. More to come!
Sick shirt dude
Thanks man!
great reaction
Thanks! And thanks for watching. We have a few other Tool reactions on this channel, and more to come.
People tend to concentrate on the Fibanaci Sewuence instead of just enjoying this Masterpiece, then complain they didn’t get it. I’d they just listen to the music then try and figure out how the Fibanaci Sequence is used in the song they would have a much better appreciation for the song. Great Review 👍
Thanks!
I was listening to this track for at least 10 years before I knew about the Fibonacci part - and then it just added a whole new layer to the song for me. As with most Tool songs - I always find new elements almost every time I listen to then.
But I agree with you - sometimes people get too caught up in it. That's why I didn't mention it until after Rach had heard the song. Better to enjoy it first and then be fascinated by it second! :)
Hope you enjoy our other Tool videos!
Thanks for watching!
Dog said turn that sheeeeit up
😂😂
Thanks for watching - we've trained him to keep quiet now!
Rachel looks like Molly Shannon and Elaine from Seinfeld had a child!! Beautiful. Respectfully
Thanks (I think)😁
Thanks!
Thanks for watching! :)
Tool journey? I’m on board
Thanks for watching!
Nice...👍 Hope she gets to hear Right In Two.
It's on the list :)
New sub is here. Next one should be The Grudge

Happy tears I hope :)
@@RDMusicExchange Yeah for sure, for some reason genuine Tool reactions hit me a different way.
Doggo wants to react to Tool too!!!
He's a fan! (Sorry about that though, this was our first ever video, so we didn't realise he was going to be so loud!)
@@RDMusicExchange Oh no worries, if I was him I'd want to be in on it too!!
I can't wait for anything off of undertow
I have some in mind 😉. Thanks for watching!
Lyrics to this song good.
Have her check out Descending
It's on the list. Thanks for watching!
Please take it the good way, but frankly your ladys beauty is outta space ! Just gorgeous !

Puppy needs to work on his backing vocals :)
Yeah, his timing is a bit off :) Thanks for watching!
Music for grownups! Peace
Yep! (Although my son is a massive fan too!)
Not sure if you know this but there is a video that explains all the mathematical complication within this song.
Yep - it's very interesting. Only discovered the fact after hearing and loving the song for over 10 years! Blew my mind!
Explain the math behind the song
The Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers where the number is made up of the two previous numbers added together. (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 etc). So the Lyrics in the verses are using this sequence if the syllables
Black (1)
And (1)
White are (2)
All I See (3)
In My Infancy (5)
Red and Yellow Then Came To Me (8)
Musically they also jump around different time signatures what are part of the sequence. There are some cool video on RUclips explaining these. Blows my mind :)
Omg I would have loved to see Tool with Paw. 2 of my favorite bands.
Thanks for watching!
Parabola shoulda been her intro too Tool
It was No3, but worth the wait -check out the vid is you haven't already :)
Maynard said the whole Fibonacci sequence thing was kind of a "Dick Joke" on Rogan's podcast.
Yep - Only he could pull off that type of gag!
That subtle smile at famous line from the Emerald tablet which Maynard expanded. She knows ;), either consciously, subconsciously or unconsciously... Hopefully will be able to handle energies which that thumb ring attracts, be careful with it... Sat Nam.
Cheers - thanks for watching - More Tool to come!
Listen too wings for marie
It's on the list :)
I think we found a tool fan..try some YES close to the edge
Thanks for watching! Yes, Rach is really enjoying Tool so far. Check out our other Tool videos. We've also done one Yes track so far - Heart of the Sunrise. There will be more Yes and Tool coming soon. Cheers
That's interesting - I'll have to listen to it again with that in mind. Thanks for watching - more Genesis coming soon. Cheers
Prog Rock yet no YES?
Join us this weekend :)
Will you do any Porcupine Tree?
I don't really know any of there stuff, and at the moment the channel is about me sharing tracks that I love, but let me know some good tracks to check out and I'll give it a go. Maybe we'll do some episodes where we both react soon. Thanks for watching.

- Glass arm shattering
- Meletron Scratch
- Voyage 34
@@raheelsaeed1 Nice one - thanks mate
if a woman doesn't like this song, she isn't the one (which the one means nothing lol)
Not my cup of tea (sorry Dee) just on the wrong side of rock heavy for me but I love the idea of a journey. I totally get that and see why you love it so much. I very much enjoy the same just with a 9 minute electronic odyssey. Question - Rachel liked it but would she listen to it on her own 🧐🙂
Probably not Danny 😜
All good buddy!
She deosnt like it. Oh GOD! She doesnt like IT!
She quite liked it :)
Brother and sister Tool fans, you all need to stop recommending The Pot. Within the Tool catalogue, it’s not all that good a song. H is significantly better. Jambi is too. I can name 15 songs better than The Pot. Stop. You’re doing Tool a disservice. Stop.
You're welcome to your opinion.
