- In today’s acrylic painting tutorial we paint reflections in the ocean water and a sunset casting a pink light on the beach. This calm seascape painting lesson is done in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to the paint ocean at sunset. Acrylic Paints:
Cerulean Blue, Mars Black, Titanium White, Cadmium Red Light Hue, Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue
Brushes:
¼” round pointed brush, 1/8” round pointed brush, 1” flat headed brush
Those specific sizes and brushes aren’t require, you can use other options. They are just what I preferred to use in the moment.
Other Materials:
9X12 inch canvas, A small dish for water, Paper towel for excess paint

This is teetering on the edges of creative freedom and low fantasy to me and I AM *_HERE FOR IT!!!!_* . You've kindly shown us the world in fundamentals in all your previous paintings, which is important because without the fundies......you can't really bend reality as an artist. Like, you have to understand the world & what you see in the subject before you can creatively 'break' it! What am I even saying? IT'S 3AM HERE lemme watch this and then go to bed💀😭😆
(Okay but yeah so nature like this is normal, or at least similar, on my side of the world this is GREAT-)

We all like to paint in different ways. You can find success in painting through a myriad of techniques. It all comes down to personal preference :)
