I love this painting so much. I a, working on a seascape with a rock formation and while attempting the rocks today I got frustrated and painted over it twice so far.. now I know how to fix my issue and will be able to complete my painting. Thank you so much for your time and dedication. Serenity is a beautiful name for it.
tap, tap. tap. I appreciate every single stroke. You are extremely talented, you teach at a pace that is simply brilliant. You are a grateful individual, your gratitude towards your patron's was felt all the to New Mexico. I enjoy watching your video's. Thank you for sharing your techniques, color mixing, and brilliant mind to the world! Christina
Ryan, your paintings are so beautiful. My favorites are the seascapes with the sunset sets. Your painting Serenity is my favorite. The details make the painting fantastic. I use to paint in oils then had to stop due too health reasons. I've been buying supplies in acrylics so I can start painting after being away some 43 yesrs. Thank you so much in teaching me in how to paint in acrylics. Sincerely linda
This to me, feels like tranquility (feels more fancy and magic than serenity too in MY ears, but we are all different) :) a stunning painting, this is a something I could easily get lost in for a very long time :)
Haha good thoughts! Should the next one be as calm perhaps it's name will be tranquility... I was going to end that sentience with a "!" to let you know that I was enthusiastic about the idea but it seems wrong considering the words we are talking about here lol
@@RyanORourkeArtist giggeling over here, a awesome reply to wake up to :) if the next one is as calm and magical like this one, please do ;) I don´t know why, but personaly, I really like the word and I think it´s under used :) but it might just be that my Autistic brain fancy it for some reason, either way, it´s a good word :D lol
I cant believe how awesome this is. I just want you to know that your larger longer paintings are so gracious for us poor disabled people who cant spend a lot of money to help support you. Chronic pain is all day every day every minute. A few moments of "Serenity" is the biggest gift you can give a person like me You and the 4 other artists I follow. Just a quick question. I am really looking to try to do portraits. A friend died at 54 the other day. My husband has cancer and a few major medical problems. So basicly physically we are both a mess. I want to paint my husband & myself together for our boys. Since its alot of learning I figured I can do 1 for the 3 of them. Then when our time here is done I can leave them something made from love. Ok I know I am laying down thick as mud. And yes your the only 1 I asked. Because each artist I follow all are very different. For this project your the best fit. You actually got me into under water painting. I always been more serious in my art. Anyhoot. I totally understand if this is way out of your demographic. Especially because I haven't been able to afford patreon. I will close with thank you for the longer RUclips lessons. God I love paint with you. Even your tiny ones take me days to do. Thank you again.
Thank you for the really kind words and I'm really sorry to hear that you and your husband are in the position you're in. I think that's a really sweet idea on your part and I don't want to make any big promises but I do hope to/intend to do some portrait work in the next couple of months. With that said I know a number of artists who do amazing portraits and until I get into my series I would highly recommend looking through the following channels. Here is Andrew: ruclips.net/user/AndrewTischlerArt Here is Lena: ruclips.net/user/LenaDanya Here is Yupari: ruclips.net/channel/UChxdiTebxwAPVN4nrEH6OrQ and finally here is Daria: ruclips.net/channel/UCyGgRLbgcXjON9ZS5DaqMOQ Wishing you and yours all the best :) -Ryan
I just discovered your channel a few weeks ago, since I've been following your work, my paintings have improved 10 fold. You've helped me discover what I've been doing wrong and thank to your lessons, I'm on the right track. Every time I watch your lessons it's like going to art school. Is there merchandise or products I can buy from you?
Using transfer paper can be a great technique but no, I actually just measure out the grid then free-hand sketch it. I almost always base the traceables off my finishes piece, not the reference photo so I don't actually get to use them myself lol
Serenity would describe this painting perfectly.
thank you so much for your content. i put you on for sleep snd when i have panic attacks and it just helps so so much. Thank you.

It’s so beautiful 😍 it looks easy when you do, but when I try it looks like scraps..
Still going to try this
That's incredible
Awesome Ryan but i guess a little bit more reflection of the sun onnthr rocks would have worked wonders for the painting
Beautiful, I just got me some brushes and paint, can't wait to try.
Gorgeous
You've really stepped it up and you are really on fire now.
You let your amazing talent bloom.....like a magnificent rose 🌹

Great, really love this
Nice painting! Did you use transfer paper to transfer the drawing to the canvas?
Thanks for adding this beautiful serenity to my evening.
Using transfer paper can be a great technique but no, I actually just measure out the grid then free-hand sketch it. I almost always base the traceables off my finishes piece, not the reference photo so I don't actually get to use them myself lol
Serenity now!
