Siege was my first modern transformer that got me hooked again in 2021. I saw this KO advertised on preorder a while back and took no time at all I was on it. It's a great thing, I had to collapse the legs down to get it in the cabinet. That stand base, it's also a huge gap filler for the underside of Jetfire
I had quite a few Transformers as a kid. When I got. Jetfire even being just six years old I knew that his toy was on a different level of quality than pretty much every other Transformer at the time. None of us knew that all the G1 stuff wasn't created specifically to be Transformers I was puzzled as to why he looked exactly like one of those Robotech jets. My God what a great toy he was. The level of quality wasn't equalled until I got the "city bots" Metroplex and Scorpionox, oh and we can't forget Omega Supreme either.
Huge KO JetFire, shut up and take my Money! this was a fantastic idea. I love when they do the upscaled knock offs, they feel like what we should be getting. Great Video Buddy!
Glad to see he's sturdy, and is possible, unlike that terrible oversized Magic Square Optimus knockoff that came out recently. I would have grabbed this one if I didn't already have Siege Jetfire, though I do really like that flight stand, and wish the OG came with one.
I was kinda hoping it'd be bigger with some more costomization tweaks for a oversized KO, but the diecast, light up eyes, flight stand, at the OG price makes it more than worth it. I'll have to try to eventually hunt one down to display it next to my original Siege Skyfire.

Hmm if they went up a size they could start sticking GiJoes in there. That would be some collab maybe Skyfire Ace combo. He'd be absolutely huge if they made it like the cartoon where he could carry multiple people lol.
To fit the old Joes they'd need to practically double the original's size of it. And I agree it would be massive at that scale. We're talking Fan toys Phoenix scaling if not bigger.

Great review. If you put each jetfire up against the new Commander Class Optimus, which one -the knockoff or the Siege, is closer in actual scale to the show?
Just wondering, does the cockpit and side passenger compartments open up to allow to put in the micro figurines in, if they do it would have been nice to see. Also loved this video, really thinking about getting this version as I actually always thought it should have been much bigger as it is in the cartoons. I mean come on, other transformers can ride inside him.

I wonder if he's the same size as Fan Toys Phoenix but Phoenix was over $250 about 5 years ago. This ko might be better than Phoenix for the price. Phoenix doesn't have light up eyes and I'm not sure if it has a base either. I have both siege and Phoenix but I'm interested in this one.
I saw someone refer to this as "fourth party" which could mean they think it's a KO of Phoenix, but with the added electronics, it would be a step up, I would think.

First of all, my friend, I've been asking about coupon codes and trying to get some. But they tell me they don't have a huge margin on these items, so it wouldn't be much off. Secondly, I think you overestimate what I make from this channel. Profit? What is that? The majority of the videos on this channel are from toys I paid for out of my own pocket. And most of the videos don't even cover the cost of the toy, forget about making a profit! I paid 200 dollars plus for a Nemesis Titan and reviewed it. I made about $9 in revenue. The recent Core Class Starscream that cost me about $10 that I reviewed? I made $4. I make these reviews because I love Transformers. I love to share Transformers with other fans. Would I like to make a profit? Sure. But that's not happening anytime soon. And if a store or a manufacturer offers me free merchandise to review, I jump at it. Of course I try to get coupon codes for the viewers. But that's up to them. And the stuff I've managed to get for free doesn't offset all the stuff I pay for and review. So I didn't mean to insult anyone by not giving a coupon code. But I'm also not going to turn down free merchandise because I can't get a discount for my viewers. I do what I can. Now, you can choose to not watch me "continue to profit" because I can't get you 3% off a toy. I'm here trying to give good information to fellow collectors and (hopefully) entertain them a little. I will continue to do that. And not so I can profit. For the love of the toys.
Now, if only they did an oversized version of Siege Astrotrain.

For pretty much the same msrp as the commander Jetfire, thats pretty cool. The addition of a nice stand is really nice too!

Weird. I didn't do an original, but I did do a Shattered Glass version. I just assumed the regular has been reviewed to death.

The original Jetfire was a Robotech toy which is why they made him look different in the cartoon and for some reason called him Skyfire.

I think you are thinking of the Masterpiece. The canopy doesn't open on this one.
