    Great to see you again Tia. Thanks Ryan for hosting her. Bumps in the road are our biggest challenge (moves, renovations, travel, family visits, etc). Self acceptance during these times is huge. I enjoy not depriving myself with simple ingredients of WFPB. Changed my life (and health) completely. Your story about people not being concerned when you ate unhealthy food but suddenly showing concern when you ate vegetables makes me laugh. I remember someone being concerned (when they saw the amount of vegetables on my plate) and asking me whether I was sure eating "all of that broccoli is safe?" ! Still experimenting with tahini because my body is sensitive to fats (avocados, seeds, nuts) and raises my cholesterol quickly. I love them but they don't love me!

      Thanks Melanie. Yes there's a huge double standard with those food concerns and criticisms when you start cleaning up your diet!

    Lost 25 lbs 4 yrs ago on Starch Solution. Switched to Carnivore and gained 35. Back on starch. Love the video. 1:43

    I have a question, since going to Whole Foods plant based from a keto diet, I’ve noticed in the morning my hands and feet are swollen and then later in the day it goes away. It’s been 10days since going full Whole Foods plant based no oil. Is there anything I can do to help with this water retention? Also from switching I started my period 2 weeks early.

      You can follow Dr. Michael Greger and get his book or books. They are also at the library. One is How not to Diet. Or Dr. McDougall’s The Starch Solution. Both of them are on RUclips and Instagram too. Along with many others who are following them. I was on Keto, low carb, high protein etc all meat and dairy based and was sick for as long as I can remember. After switching to WFPD. I have never felt better. I hope this helps.

    Great interview! I found myself following the starch solution pretty strictly 50-50 plates. Half starch half vegetables. But I believe I was missing an element. I started implementing your principles. One cup starch. 2 cups vegetables. Half a cup beans. And I usually make my own dressing, which has an element of fat using nuts or seeds. I’ve noticed I ammore satiated And satisfied. Thank you for those simple tips and changes that someone can make to help enhance their journey. ❤
