It’s honestly a good idea! To me it feels like an obvious yes but so many people say it’s filler that I just might have to take you up on this request lol
My personal theory on this subject is as follows: Boruto inherited ohtsutski genetics by not only being the son of two individuals who gained ohtsutski chakra (chakra types being genetic has been canon since part 1) but also is within the family tree of kaguya herself as naruto is a reincarnation of her grandchildren. So he was already an ohtsutski hybrid from conception...even if it only manifested within one of his eyes. So, momoshiki giving boruto the karma seal also encoded 90% of momoshikis and kinshikis genetics into his body. This made him a complete ohtsutski, with the genetics of two main branch clan members that each had unique abilities we dont see in another ohtsutski. We see this with kaguya having a 9 tomoe rinnegan, just like a 10 tails has as well as momoshiki having 4 eyes before awakening his powers more with the fruit made by kinshiki, afterward having 5 eyes and a shopping list of unique jutsu as well as at least 1 shinjutsu ability. I think that the combo of their genetics is what may have accidentally recreated the genetics of shibai. I believe he may be genetically related to momoshiki and kaguya, and this could just be a recreation of genetics

And the infinite tsukyomi I think was her way of attempting to obtain omnipotence. If she could've ate another fruit and upgraded herself, I absolutely believe shed gain that shinjutsu
I also wonder if at one point momoshiki was a sacrifice himself too shibai and after resurrecting at some point he had shibais genetics attached to his own and shibai overwrote momoshikis DNA to save his life similar to what momo did for boruto to a certain degree
Yeah I get what you mean, but the reason I lean towards recreation of chakra over genetics is because it was described several times that Indra and ashura’s chakras reincarnated over time and that hagoromo sensed ashura’s chakra in Naruto, not that Naruto had ashura’s actual dna. We know he didn’t have his dna or else hashiramas dna wouldn’t be different from Naruto’s, and they’d also all look the same lol but they dont. They just had ashura’s chakra. Similarly Naruto and sasuke only got chakra from hagoromo not dna, and same with hinata from hamura, so at that point I’m inclined to say it’s more chakra based than dna based. But it’s all the same concept regardless lol
I think there’s a connection but not so sure on a literal reincarnation as I imagine boruto would be far stronger in base if he was lol considering daemon is way stronger than even full power karma boruto and he’s not even shibais reincarnation he just has some dna lol
I think Momoshiki was more likely an heir to Shibai’s will. Maybe Momoshiki has been a vessel himself up until this point. I mean Momoshiki definitely didn’t care for other Otsutsuki such as Kaguya or Isshiki, but he referred to Shibai’s power as the power of a god.
Borushiki's horn, while superficially resembling Shibai's, is actually a fusion of Kinshiki and Momoshiki's horn designs prior to Momoshiki eating Kinshiki. However, if you were ever to combine Borushiki and Kawashiki's horn designs, the end result would almost perfectly replicate Shibai's horns.
My theory about the horn:😅 Every otsutsuki has a special horn, when two different otsutsuki fused like momoshiki and kinshiki, a new horn is created. Since boruto was born with the otsutsuki chakra and power where it is originally from kaguya, portion of him is otsutsuki, and when momoshiki planted the karma into boruto, the new horn is belongs to boruto, not momoshiki, like boruto is a new otsutsuki (keep in mind that boruto has chakra of three otsutsuki "momoshiki+kinshiki+kaguya"). So I believe it's his own special horn not from shibai. Otherwise, horn of kawaki is like isshiki because of kawaki didn't have the power of otsutsuki from the beginning unlike boruto. wrong, wrong and wrong. The whole process of Karma is to rewrite the DNA of a host with the one that resides inside the Karma mark. SO unless Boruto was an Otsutsuki before momoshiki placed karma onto him, this horn thing doesn't make sense because you can clearly see Jigen horn looks like Isshiki's horn when he goes into his transformed stage.

@Amr Dhahy well I theorized that shibai is impersonating momoshiki. 1 thing I noticed about momoshiki when he takes over Boruto's body is he never uses his own abilities. He uses Boruto's abilities. We also never see boruto use momoshiki's abilities, he uses his own abilities while using karma. The reason why I think shibai is momoshiki is because during the fight boruto vs momoshiki, momoshiki never once touched the real boruto to place the karma on him. Kawaki cab use isshiki's abilities but why can't boruto use momoshiki's abilities? Also boruto horn looms like Shibai's horn rather than momoshiki's. I can keep going lol
That line of thinking is basically the same as the momoshiki + kaguya chakra = shibai theory, except instead of it being shibais horn you think it’s borutos own horn that happens to look similar. But the cause is still the same. This really just depends on whether shibai is momoshiki and kaguyas father or not tbh. If he is, then it’s probably his horn, if it’s not, then it’s either borutos horn or it’s still shibais but from a completely different cause
@@dorianmouzone7313 We didn't see Kawaki use any of Ishiki's abilities until the Code Arc, so I think it is fair to say that maybe Boruto just hasn't used the abilities yet but will soon. We just need more content before we can start really questioning this
So the theory that popped into my head was that Shibai is Kaguya's father and/or thst hes the creator of the Otsutsuki gene. Boruto being the child of two otsutsuki lineage could lead to him having Shibai's genes. Momoshiki sensing this tries to take over Borutos body knowing that he has sheer infinite potential, leading to Momoshiki's attempt to overthrow the throan.
I think each time boruto uses momoshikis power he's leveling up learning his abilities more and more gaining more knowledge! I'm waiting for a slide of him taking advantage of momoshikis knowledge as he takes over

Here’s my theory otsutsuki clan actually have vessels within there own clan think about it before earth how did the karma seal function so not only do They sacrifice planets they sacrifice anything so what if shibai otsutsuki Is a higher level of perfection maybe there’s way to merge a perfect vessel a perfect with a new otsutsuki kind of like fusion in dragon ball more or transformation with shared consciousness and rather than building a bond with momoshiki maybe it’ll be better if they start to gradually become one the same person and achieve a new form in the future where boruto is momoshiki

What if amado is secretly shibai in disguise?? He is way to smart and knows more about Otsutsuki than he leads on. And was able to use some of shibais DNA and create daemon and eida with it.. And he was able to recreate the karma for kawaki, stated by momoshiki "Its not usually impossible to reawaken the karma seal". And momoshiki knew right away somthing was up and knew it was amados doing. Momoshiki seemed surprised by it as well. And near the end of ep 292 it shows amado looking in the night sky? Thats whats more intriguing. And we still don't know if he was affected by edias ability of reality switch,

I think Boruto would have developed Otsutsuki traits without Momoshiki just because of his genetics and he already had the Jogan. Having Momoshiki karma is just going to put him on a different level like 6 path Naruto
Yeah idk how far it would’ve gone but there at least was already something there to begin with. He just strongly inherited otsutsuki genetics compared to the average person

Idk if momoshiki necessarily unlocked what boruto had since he already unlocked his Jougan before momoshikis karma. Instead I’m thinking adding momoshiki into the mix just created something new (or possibly recreated shibais essence)

It could be thet Sibai will be new era Hogoromo, and if you put isshiki and borushiki's horn together, then it really looks like a shibai horn. Hypothesis, but it is possible that Sibai is not evil at all, because we still don't know anything about him, except that he destroyed countless planets for chakra fruit, but after his ascending to a higher realm, it is possible that he is now trying to help with the balance in the universe, and that he will help kawaki and boruto defeat some perhaps even bigger threats than himself. Shibai somehow contacted Toneri, and offered him a jougan, and that Toneri chose to give it to Boruto I think that the theory you already mentioned is also possible, and that is that Kaguya, Momoshiki and Ishiki are actually the children of Shibai.
since momoshiki implanted his karma mark into boruto after eating ginshiki i think boruto's horn is a combination of both momoshiki's and ginshiki's horns since ginshiki's horn protrudes from his fore head and momoshiki's horn after eating ginshiki protrudes in a somewhat curve upwards therefore i think its safe to say that ginshiki and momoshiki's combination and manifestation in boruto was somehow capable in recreating shibai's chakra just as how madara'a portion was larger that hashirama's to recreate the rinnegan more of momoshiki and a little of ginshiki was able to recreate a little shibai's chakra and with time the perfect and full form of shibai's appearance in the depths of the boruto verse in the anime ofc
That’s the coolest one to me but boruto already had the jougan before the karma seal so we still have to come back to borutos genetics at birth and/or toneris involvement. So I’d like to see all three be involved and important

I agree. If you think in terms of a family tree…sage of six paths was the pinnacle of the naruto series. Combining the sons indura and ashura in order to achieve. It would narratively make sense for boruto to then acquire chakra from the next stages being momo and kaguya in order to get to the next level of power scaling. It leaves an open amount of power levels as long as there are stronger members of the parenting branch in this case the otsutski’s

Boruto defs has some Shibai Otsutsuki in him. It is said that shibai could summon wind, water and lighting with a flick of his hand or a shout. These just so happen to be some of borutos jutsu nature types, definitely feel kishimoto has been foreshadowing like crazy. But what if Shibai’s God hood is so powerful that he can just impart divine power, like the jougan. He might be secretly helping the Shinobi.
To me, ishikki isn’t stronger than momoshiki. They just have different types of abilities, and ishikki just have better combat experience than than momo. In terms of raw power, they are on par.
You could definitely make that argument to compare isshiki’s taijutsu power and momoshikis ninjutsu power like his reign of the emperor jutsu, but amado, Naruto and sasuke definitely thought isshiki was more powerful, and he did just kick through their avatars haha. A lot of it is just skill based though I do agree
I think its shibais horn and that boruto is born with all the genetics but boruto wasn't supposed to awaken them until he was an adult but tenorii did something to make him awaken the powers earlier but hes only awakened the jougan for the time being. Or boruto could be shibais re-encarnation and tenorii knows this and want boruto to awaken these powers that boruto doesnt know about resulting in tenorii doing something to boruto

Still, I WANT to believe that momoshiki is Shibai in disguise. #1 because it’s weird how Boruto got his karma seal without direct contact, #2 because the name Shibai’s meaning (that you explained in another video) means “Play” or “Act”, like it’s someone pretending or lying about something (maybe their identity). And #3 because it would just be the best plot twist yet, besides the one we got in chapter 79. Edit: Also weird that Boruto doesn’t use any of momoshiki’s abilities. Besides having his eye on the right side when he’s in Borushiki form, I have not seen anything else (that base or fused momoshiki has used) that Boruto is also able to use. And since we know absorbing Justus is not a momoshiki thing only since Kawaki is also able to do that, we can assume his “absorbing Justus to multiply its power and release it back” thing isn’t what he’s using here. Very, very strange…
Think of it this way, there are 6 pure Otsutsuki, as we saw at Kara's base. Shibai is said to be their God but no one has met him, so it's possible that he doesn't count as one of the 6. Seeing as how each Otsutsuki seems to manifest similar but specific jutsus as well as the ways of pain, it's possible that the 6 Otsutsuki are the 6 Paths of Shibai who split before he died, to perhaps create an ideal host for his god level. Kinshiki is the ashura path, momoshiki is the nara or preta path, kaguya is the naraka path (instant death techniques) and ishiki is the deva path (if you have the rinnegan, you might use shira tensei, since it uses space jutsu). Momoshiki ate kinshiki making him 32% shibai by that logic and apart from Boruto having the jougan that perhaps awakens more of shibai's DNA. Every karma reincarnates an Otsutsuki but every Otsutsuki wants to reach divinity to become Shibai again.

Somewhere I heard this, not sure of the truth behind it, something about Momoshiki being a prince or of royalty among his clan. I don’t think anything has been confirmed but it is interesting that Momoshiki is seen to be of higher rank than Kinshiki and Urashiki. I wonder where his rank stands along with Isshiki. I really wish there was more dialogue between the two before Isshiki died, or at least one of them provided info about the other. Guess we will have to wait for Part ✌️. Anyway great video!
It’s just a theory rn, I’ve even said he felt like royalty in the past too. He felt like he was a prince or a son of someone important in the otsutsuki clan, a lot like how boruto was the son of the hokage (that’s where that theory comes from, I made a video a long time ago on a generally similar subject if you’re curious). And yeah I really wish we saw more interaction between momoshiki and isshiki to see how they think of each other and what they’re ranking comparison is like. Hopefully momoshiki says something at some point lol
I’m think boruto had traces of otsutski dna before he became momoshiki’s vessel which attracted momoshiki hence the jougan I think from both his parents dna combining plus we don’t know much backstory to minato’s clan either which is also in boruto’s dna boruto had the jougan before he became a vessel so I’m sure now that he has momoshiki I think might be over 100% otsutski at this point seeing that his mom is a direct descendent hyuga and receiving hamura’s chakra and with Naruto receiving hagaromo’s chakra all that was in his parents before he was born I think plus whatever toneri might’ve done too
The only problem with Kaguya and Momoshiki being Shibai's children is that they were lower ranked than Ishiki, why if Shibai is the strongest Otsutsuki?
We don’t know what determines the ranking system for one thing, and we also don’t know for sure if momoshiki and the same rank or lower than isshiki (he’s higher on the tablets but that might just be design and the ranking might only matter within the pairs but who knows). If it was just based on power then isshiki clearly would rank higher than kaguya and momoshiki cause he’s stronger, but we don’t know how it all works yet. I wanna know ASAP though lol
here's the thing that kinda throws of the toneri doing something part, boruto momentarily uses the jougan in multiple episodes before he met toneri. even in the first episode as a kid he uses it when he sees Dennis negative energy.
Also I don't think Momoshiki is Shibai mainly because Jigen and even Sasuke stated that they could sense Momoshikis presence inside Boruto. I think we could be looking to deep into the horns but if I were to take a guess I would say that Momoshikis horn may have resembled Shibais in the past and since Momoshiki has been consuming fruits his horn shape changed over time? Thats just my guess
Yeah they still sense momoshikis presence and there’s a lot more things too, many of which the original theorists never thought about. As for the horn part, I think it’s something small so isshiki never detected it (and he never saw borushikis horn to notice it that way)
Well here is where I disagree with you on this topic. You said that sasuke stated he could sense momoshiki's presence inside of Boruto, well most ninja don't notice when a person is using transformation jutsu to copy someones identity. If shibai is an otsutsuki god, then I'm sure it's very well possible for him to copy the presence and appearance of another otsutsuki. One question is, if momoshiki can revert back to his previous form after being defeated, then how is it that his clothes (shirt and pants) were restored back to normal but his horns are still broken even in the after life?? I think as a rule, inorder for shibai to take momoshiki's identity, that otsutusuki has to either be dead or currently not be using the previous form that that otsutusuki once had.

Shibai is probably Amado, his daughter sere the partner he were originally sent to earth with and she didn't reincarnate when consumed by the ten tails because she didn't want to put a karma on someone for some reason, she probably felt sorry for them or didn't want to take over their body and just didn't tell her father. I make extended versions of osts for my videos, where the first half was the “he’s bad news theme” and second half was the “isshiki theme” both from the boruto anime
Ive wondered this aswell and i kind of have a simular conclusion to yours, since toneri messed with boruto before he was born which would explain how he could have awakened the jougan via Shibais dna, he already has Ohtsutsuki in him technically through naruto and hinata so it would make sense. Also another topic i feel like people are overlooking is that Kawakis new karma is most def way differnt than his old one, Amado purposely put it on Kawaki so he could "revive his daughter" by putting her dna in it, but what if he put shibais dna in that aswell, if he did that then kawakis horn could change since amado modified the karma, and if he did that he would try to make kawaki as powerful as can be till he is able to revive his daughter (if thats his actual goal). I just find it crazy how kodachi and kishimoto were able to make this series so unpredictable, especially when it comes to theories. But ill bet all my money that toneri put some of shibais dna in boruto, and that kawaki is being used by Amado.
The toneri stuff is definitely on the right track at least cause he did something and something shibai related makes sense. As for amado, that’s a really cool idea lol but I’d have to wonder why he didn’t get much stronger that boruto in that case cause if shibais power is what bridged the gap between momoshiki and isshiki, adding shibais power to isshiki’s should’ve put Kawaki way ahead of boruto like daemon is. But it’s something to be weary of at least cause amado is sus and will always be sus
@Kamui either toneri or Amado had something to do with this, 1 toneri could have had access to Shiba's body and Amado is sus president he was the one that gave boruto those pills we don't know what was in them. And we can't fully trust what he says at first, there is always a caviot.

Momoshiki probably was weaker cuz he was noble and not a warior and Kinshiki was doing all fighting job as a kind of bodyguard. And I remember that Kaguya was weak at taijutsu as well, she was switching dimensions,flying, and throwing sticks but she was pretty weak at close combat... And Isshiki was probably a bodyguard as well who knows. I'm also curious that is there a coralation between number of horns and hierarchy. Kinshiki had 1 horn and Momoshiki 2. Kaguya had 2 and Isshiki 1. Im guessing that If Shibai had 2 horns his companion should have 1 horn.
Yeah momoshikis biggest problem was skill not power, where kinshiki was far more skilled and experienced. And I’ve noticed that too but idk what the number of horns truly means since isshiki was higher ranked according to amado. If isshiki was lower ranked and the body guard then I’d say guardians have 1 horn and nobles 2 horns, but that might not be the case. Good chance shibais partner had only 1 horn though
Momoshikis horns were already broken when he first appeared way back in chapter 10 after dying, they’ve just stayed like that ever since, and that was long before boruto broke borushikis horn
Kaguya was the princess of the Otsuski clan. Maybe she was to be wed to Isshiki and that's part of the reason she stabbed him in the back after falling in love with a human. Momoshiki might be the prince. Remember Kenshiki was like a guardian of his
I hope they actually do this, where momoshiki is like a prince like he seemed like and kaguya a princess and both are kids of a king or noble figure (maybe shibai or if not then something else)
Also i support one of the theories that the jogan has the power of sharingan, byakugan, and rinnegan since it has to have the power to match Kawaki who has Isshiki’s dojutsu.
I think it’s tricky to know for sure where his Jougan comes from. We haven’t seen the Jougan in the manga yet so I would say your theory about his chakra being part kaguya mixed with his DNA being 82% Momo’s it would make sense if all of a sudden he activated his Dojutsu. I think when it comes to the Anime that theory doesn’t make sense due to the fact we see it multiple times before he ever has the karma from Momo. I think after loosing to Naruto in the movie Toneri may have done something to Hinata that would give her first born child an incredible power to protect her and the planet earth.

And like I said the mixing chakra theory can work for the horn but it’s irrelevant to the Jougan because boruto already had it so that’s a result of either borutos genetics at first and/or toneris involvement with things

I really just want answers as to what Toneri actually even did, and why he did it! I agree that one part Kaguya and one part momoshiki can awaken one part shibai. But then what does the influence of Toneri equate to! He straight up pulled a Haguromo moment in awakening that Jogan, but why then doesn’t Boruto have both eyes awakening Byakugan/Renegan! I used the “he’s bad news” theme for the first half and “isshiki’s theme” for the second half both from the boruto anime and made my own extended version of both of them
I think the jougan was originally with him because if kaguya is the daughter of shibai then blood line because if shibai is in boruto’s family then boruto will still have a tiny part of his chakra
Thinking about the theory of boruto actually being at the fight between team seven and Kaguya. At some point, Boruto would get the abillity to absorb Chakura from momoshiki's karma seal and went back there to get more of kaguya's Chakura. There is also another theory I got: Watch as Shibai's godhood be limited to the planet he gained it on. If the planet dies, the otsutsuki god dies as well. Hence the planet was not fully consumed by the god tree planted by him. He could have also manipulated events to ensure the survival of the planet like Kaguya releasing some of the humans during the first Infinite Tsukiomi (spelling) cast by her, and the two other times she was sealed. By becoming a god, he also had to take up the mantel of guardian of the planet.... Like Kami from dragonball...
Oooo I like that idea that it’s limited to the planet he gained it on, but I’m not sure that he’d just die if the planet died, but maybe his godhood wouldn’t mean anything anymore? It’s something to play around with anyway. I’m not a fan of boruto watching that kaguya fight though tbh since in character he’d be jumping in to save Naruto and sasuke when he gets worried about them lol

It doesn't exist in shibai's time but I think that jogan got created cuz boruto litteraly haves 4 otsusuki chackra which is from Hogoromo, Hogoromo gives Naruto chackra. so, what I'm thinking is that it isn't exactly shibai's horn, but it could be more that those "type" of horns represent their level of status. so if you rank at a certain level as an otsutsuki's - the horn has a similar shape as shibai's horn. like, if there were other otsutsuki's that got to shibai's level, they'd all have similar horns.
*I also wonder if shiba's "ascension" was a physical ascension, becoming one with the environment. becoming rocks, trees, etc. Kind of like being a physical version of Hagoromo's ascension to the pure lands.
god, sorry for the replies. one thing to build onto your point about boruto having a sliver of shibai's power - one thing that Isshiki brought up when talking to Kashin Koji, was that he had a pretty big emphasis on "genes." It could be the case that Momoshiki has a similar genetic make-up as Shibai. This would also make sense seeing as Momoshiki was brought in looking like royalty. It'd make sense if he was royalty because he had a similar genetic make up as Shibai - their version of God, or Hagoromo.
There could be something to this in general for sure. The question is just what shape means what, and if 1 vs 2 horns means anything. That being said, borushiki isn’t stronger than Kawaki nor is he stronger than isshiki, yet his horn is closest to shibais, so idk if strength necessarily means a certain shape or not

This theory about how Kaguya and Momoshiki could be the kids of Shibai and mixing the DNA of Kaguya and Momoshiki to create Shibai's DNA does sound interesting. My CONTENTION "love that word" with this theory is Momoshiki before he was defeated had consumed Kenshiki which means his DNA is inside Momoshiki. SO mixing kaguya's, Kenshiki and Momoshiki's DNA, would that necessarily recreate Shibai's chakra??? Last time I checked, Kenshiki wasn't Momoshiki's brother. Kenshiki came off more as a bodyguard than anything.
That’s actually a really good point I didn’t think much about, so I guess it just depends on whether any of kinshikis essence is in borutos karma seal or not. Momoshiki is in his original form, which might indicate for whatever reason he couldn’t copy kinshikis data over into the karma too, or it means he can just activate his “fused form”. If we ever see momoshiki in fused form again then yeah momoshiki and kaguya probably didn’t recreate shibais chakra since kinshiki doesn’t seem like he should be in the mix. If momoshiki lost kinshikis power, then it could work with that mixture theory. Just depends on that I guess!
Also I just thought of something. If momoshiki can turn kenshiki into a chakra fruit... why didn't kaguya turn Isshiki into a chakra fruit to increase her power? I mean the reason she created the zetsu army was to fight against the Otsutsuki who were gonna come looking for her correct?? Would have been beneficial for her to use him to increase her strength. Borushiki’s horn doesn’t look like a crown but shibai’s does and momoshiki took over Boruto’s body not shibai there horn are extremely different 1:41 but this could be from the dna boruto got from his parents but this is just my initial thought an if you didn’t notice all the vessels horns are connected to the forehead but you could be right

The reason why Borushiki is equal to Kawaki in strength is because the body is controlled by Momoshiki. If it was Isshiki controlling Kawaki, he would be much stronger than Momoshiki controlling Boruto. Just like that karma Kawaki is stronger than karma Boruto(true essence). I think part of that is just momoshiki getting into the horn state whereas boruto himself can’t do that, and instead has the “true essence form” we saw vs code. So momoshikis better skill could just be him going into horn mode, granted he also does other things like rasendans and stuff. We can’t really quantify how much power Kawaki actually uses with his karma vs momoshiki so there could be some truth there but we don’t know how much if any at all. We just know boruto seems worse at it than Kawaki lol

The clear answer would be that they’re a result of Shibai’s karma, but what we‘ve SEEN from the events of the story leads us to think that they’re Momoshiki’s. It’s like Sasuke’s dilemma where he can tell something isn’t adding up but his brain is gaslighting him. What if Omnipotence has already been used like Momoshiki insinuated to switch Momoshiki and Shibai’s places - or substitute a fraction of Shibai’s powers for Momoshiki’s using Momoshiki dead body as a vessel. The way Momoshiki learned the true identity of Eida’s love ability was almost as if he was searching through some kind of Otsutsuki data archive or something, not just thinking about the ability and hoping to remember. He claims he knows all Shinjutsu but It’s almost like he’s clairvoyant in the senrigan sense or something, and we’ve seen Eida search for things in similar ways-like when she was confirming if Akebi existed. Ofc he hasn’t showcased Daemon’s reflection ability or the dharmagan but he could have his rinnegan. We’ve also never seen Boruto use Momoshiki’s abilities, which is odd since Kawaki has been spamming the dharmagan (I’m just gonna call it that) and pretty much being an improved version of Isshiki since he got it. Kawaki, Eida, and Daemon are even able to use all of their abilities without Karma. He uses the byakugan but Shibai also has it in the exact same eye. Anyway, the Momoshiki we know and love could have been a dupe all along. Why would Shibai want to be Momoshiki? Who knows. Maybe he’s bored of being omniscient and Boruto’s future being unpredictable made him want to experience it.

Base on the manga/anime. Isshiki is far stronger than Momoshiki like you said. But I think Momoshiki’s potential is far greater. It will depends which one Momoshiki will absorb. What if he can absorb the other Otsutsuki too that is far greater than Kinshiki which is his partner? That would make him much stronger.

I gave a potential explanation in the video which is that he might not have access to enough of his otsutsuki chakra with his white karma seal to grow any horns. You seem to need at least 80% of the karma extracted before you can even grow a horn (maybe 75% is the bare minimum) and that’s only when you use the karma power to its fullest extent, meaning you gotta draw out 80%+ of the karma seal, so code might only have access to let’s say 50% of that otsutsuki chakra and thus no horns for him

@@dyluht it’s possible but partly depends on what the limiters actually limited. Was it limiting the karma specifically, code specifically, or a mix of both? We don’t know yet but i think it either limited code himself or both code and the karma seal but not just the karma alone if that makes sense. If we do see him grow a horn that’ll be huge though and give more insight as to how his power works

And if he never does evolve into having a horn then he may not have a long character life in the storyline because without the slight transformation there’s no chance of him competing with Boruto and Kawaki in their otsutsuki states.

My personal theory on this subject is as follows:
Boruto inherited ohtsutski genetics by not only being the son of two individuals who gained ohtsutski chakra (chakra types being genetic has been canon since part 1) but also is within the family tree of kaguya herself as naruto is a reincarnation of her grandchildren. So he was already an ohtsutski hybrid from conception...even if it only manifested within one of his eyes.
So, momoshiki giving boruto the karma seal also encoded 90% of momoshikis and kinshikis genetics into his body. This made him a complete ohtsutski, with the genetics of two main branch clan members that each had unique abilities we dont see in another ohtsutski. We see this with kaguya having a 9 tomoe rinnegan, just like a 10 tails has as well as momoshiki having 4 eyes before awakening his powers more with the fruit made by kinshiki, afterward having 5 eyes and a shopping list of unique jutsu as well as at least 1 shinjutsu ability.
I think that the combo of their genetics is what may have accidentally recreated the genetics of shibai. I believe he may be genetically related to momoshiki and kaguya, and this could just be a recreation of genetics

I also wonder if at one point momoshiki was a sacrifice himself too shibai and after resurrecting at some point he had shibais genetics attached to his own and shibai overwrote momoshikis DNA to save his life similar to what momo did for boruto to a certain degree

Yeah I get what you mean, but the reason I lean towards recreation of chakra over genetics is because it was described several times that Indra and ashura’s chakras reincarnated over time and that hagoromo sensed ashura’s chakra in Naruto, not that Naruto had ashura’s actual dna. We know he didn’t have his dna or else hashiramas dna wouldn’t be different from Naruto’s, and they’d also all look the same lol but they dont. They just had ashura’s chakra. Similarly Naruto and sasuke only got chakra from hagoromo not dna, and same with hinata from hamura, so at that point I’m inclined to say it’s more chakra based than dna based. But it’s all the same concept regardless lol

Borushiki's horn, while superficially resembling Shibai's, is actually a fusion of Kinshiki and Momoshiki's horn designs prior to Momoshiki eating Kinshiki. However, if you were ever to combine Borushiki and Kawashiki's horn designs, the end result would almost perfectly replicate Shibai's horns.

My theory about the horn:😅
Every otsutsuki has a special horn, when two different otsutsuki fused like momoshiki and kinshiki, a new horn is created. Since boruto was born with the otsutsuki chakra and power where it is originally from kaguya, portion of him is otsutsuki, and when momoshiki planted the karma into boruto, the new horn is belongs to boruto, not momoshiki, like boruto is a new otsutsuki (keep in mind that boruto has chakra of three otsutsuki "momoshiki+kinshiki+kaguya").
So I believe it's his own special horn not from shibai.
Otherwise, horn of kawaki is like isshiki because of kawaki didn't have the power of otsutsuki from the beginning unlike boruto.

wrong, wrong and wrong. The whole process of Karma is to rewrite the DNA of a host with the one that resides inside the Karma mark. SO unless Boruto was an Otsutsuki before momoshiki placed karma onto him, this horn thing doesn't make sense because you can clearly see Jigen horn looks like Isshiki's horn when he goes into his transformed stage.

@Amr Dhahy well I theorized that shibai is impersonating momoshiki. 1 thing I noticed about momoshiki when he takes over Boruto's body is he never uses his own abilities. He uses Boruto's abilities. We also never see boruto use momoshiki's abilities, he uses his own abilities while using karma. The reason why I think shibai is momoshiki is because during the fight boruto vs momoshiki, momoshiki never once touched the real boruto to place the karma on him. Kawaki cab use isshiki's abilities but why can't boruto use momoshiki's abilities? Also boruto horn looms like Shibai's horn rather than momoshiki's. I can keep going lol
That line of thinking is basically the same as the momoshiki + kaguya chakra = shibai theory, except instead of it being shibais horn you think it’s borutos own horn that happens to look similar. But the cause is still the same. This really just depends on whether shibai is momoshiki and kaguyas father or not tbh. If he is, then it’s probably his horn, if it’s not, then it’s either borutos horn or it’s still shibais but from a completely different cause

So the theory that popped into my head was that Shibai is Kaguya's father and/or thst hes the creator of the Otsutsuki gene. Hypothesis, but it is possible that Sibai is not evil at all, because we still don't know anything about him, except that he destroyed countless planets for chakra fruit, but after his ascending to a higher realm, it is possible that he is now trying to help with the balance in the universe, and that he will help kawaki and boruto defeat some perhaps even bigger threats than himself.

I think that the theory you already mentioned is also possible, and that is that Kaguya, Momoshiki and Ishiki are actually the children of Shibai.
since momoshiki implanted his karma mark into boruto after eating ginshiki i think boruto's horn is a combination of both momoshiki's and ginshiki's horns since ginshiki's horn protrudes from his fore head and momoshiki's horn after eating ginshiki protrudes in a somewhat curve upwards therefore i think its safe to say that ginshiki and momoshiki's combination and manifestation in boruto was somehow capable in recreating shibai's chakra just as how madara'a portion was larger that hashirama's to recreate the rinnegan more of momoshiki and a little of ginshiki was able to recreate a little shibai's chakra and with time the perfect and full form of shibai's appearance in the depths of the boruto verse in the anime ofc

I agree. If you think in terms of a family tree…sage of six paths was the pinnacle of the naruto series. Combining the sons indura and ashura in order to achieve. It would narratively make sense for boruto to then acquire chakra from the next stages being momo and kaguya in order to get to the next level of power scaling. It leaves an open amount of power levels as long as there are stronger members of the parenting branch in this case the otsutski’s

To me, ishikki isn’t stronger than momoshiki. They just have different types of abilities, and ishikki just have better combat experience than than momo. In terms of raw power, they are on par.
You could definitely make that argument to compare isshiki’s taijutsu power and momoshikis ninjutsu power like his reign of the emperor jutsu, but amado, Naruto and sasuke definitely thought isshiki was more powerful, and he did just kick through their avatars haha. Still, I WANT to believe that momoshiki is Shibai in disguise. #1 because it’s weird how Boruto got his karma seal without direct contact, #2 because the name Shibai’s meaning (that you explained in another video) means “Play” or “Act”, like it’s someone pretending or lying about something (maybe their identity). And #3 because it would just be the best plot twist yet, besides the one we got in chapter 79.
Edit: Also weird that Boruto doesn’t use any of momoshiki’s abilities. Besides having his eye on the right side when he’s in Borushiki form, I have not seen anything else (that base or fused momoshiki has used) that Boruto is also able to use. And since we know absorbing Justus is not a momoshiki thing only since Kawaki is also able to do that, we can assume his “absorbing Justus to multiply its power and release it back” thing isn’t what he’s using here. Think of it this way, there are 6 pure Otsutsuki, as we saw at Kara's base. Shibai is said to be their God but no one has met him, so it's possible that he doesn't count as one of the 6. Seeing as how each Otsutsuki seems to manifest similar but specific jutsus as well as the ways of pain, it's possible that the 6 Otsutsuki are the 6 Paths of Shibai who split before he died, to perhaps create an ideal host for his god level. Kinshiki is the ashura path, momoshiki is the nara or preta path, kaguya is the naraka path (instant death techniques) and ishiki is the deva path (if you have the rinnegan, you might use shira tensei, since it uses space jutsu). Momoshiki ate kinshiki making him 32% shibai by that logic and apart from Boruto having the jougan that perhaps awakens more of shibai's DNA. Every karma reincarnates an Otsutsuki but every Otsutsuki wants to reach divinity to become Shibai again.

Somewhere I heard this, not sure of the truth behind it, something about Momoshiki being a prince or of royalty among his clan. I don’t think anything has been confirmed but it is interesting that Momoshiki is seen to be of higher rank than Kinshiki and Urashiki. I wonder where his rank stands along with Isshiki. I really wish there was more dialogue between the two before Isshiki died, or at least one of them provided info about the other. Guess we will have to wait for Part ✌️. Anyway great video!
It’s just a theory rn, I’ve even said he felt like royalty in the past too. He felt like he was a prince or a son of someone important in the otsutsuki clan, a lot like how boruto was the son of the hokage (that’s where that theory comes from, I made a video a long time ago on a generally similar subject if you’re curious). And yeah I really wish we saw more interaction between momoshiki and isshiki to see how they think of each other and what they’re ranking comparison is like. here's the thing that kinda throws of the toneri doing something part, boruto momentarily uses the jougan in multiple episodes before he met toneri. even in the first episode as a kid he uses it when he sees Dennis negative energy.
Also I don't think Momoshiki is Shibai mainly because Jigen and even Sasuke stated that they could sense Momoshikis presence inside Boruto. I think we could be looking to deep into the horns but if I were to take a guess I would say that Momoshikis horn may have resembled Shibais in the past and since Momoshiki has been consuming fruits his horn shape changed over time? Yeah they still sense momoshikis presence and there’s a lot more things too, many of which the original theorists never thought about. As for the horn part, I think it’s something small so isshiki never detected it (and he never saw borushikis horn to notice it that way)
Well here is where I disagree with you on this topic. You said that sasuke stated he could sense momoshiki's presence inside of Boruto, well most ninja don't notice when a person is using transformation jutsu to copy someones identity. If shibai is an otsutsuki god, then I'm sure it's very well possible for him to copy the presence and appearance of another otsutsuki. One question is, if momoshiki can revert back to his previous form after being defeated, then how is it that his clothes (shirt and pants) were restored back to normal but his horns are still broken even in the after life?? I think as a rule, inorder for shibai to take momoshiki's identity, that otsutusuki has to either be dead or currently not be using the previous form that that otsutusuki once had.

Shibai is probably Amado, his daughter sere the partner he were originally sent to earth with and she didn't reincarnate when consumed by the ten tails because she didn't want to put a karma on someone for some reason, she probably felt sorry for them or didn't want to take over their body and just didn't tell her father. Ive wondered this aswell and i kind of have a simular conclusion to yours, since toneri messed with boruto before he was born which would explain how he could have awakened the jougan via Shibais dna, he already has Ohtsutsuki in him technically through naruto and hinata so it would make sense. Also another topic i feel like people are overlooking is that Kawakis new karma is most def way differnt than his old one, Amado purposely put it on Kawaki so he could "revive his daughter" by putting her dna in it, but what if he put shibais dna in that aswell, if he did that then kawakis horn could change since amado modified the karma, and if he did that he would try to make kawaki as powerful as can be till he is able to revive his daughter (if thats his actual goal). I just find it crazy how kodachi and kishimoto were able to make this series so unpredictable, especially when it comes to theories. But ill bet all my money that toneri put some of shibais dna in boruto, and that kawaki is being used by Amado.

I think it’s tricky to know for sure where his Jougan comes from. We haven’t seen the Jougan in the manga yet so I would say your theory about his chakra being part kaguya mixed with his DNA being 82% Momo’s it would make sense if all of a sudden he activated his Dojutsu. I think when it comes to the Anime that theory doesn’t make sense due to the fact we see it multiple times before he ever has the karma from Momo. I think after loosing to Naruto in the movie Toneri may have done something to Hinata that would give her first born child an incredible power to protect her and the planet earth.

I think the jougan was originally with him because if kaguya is the daughter of shibai then blood line because if shibai is in boruto’s family then boruto will still have a tiny part of his chakra
Thinking about the theory of boruto actually being at the fight between team seven and Kaguya. At some point, Boruto would get the abillity to absorb Chakura from momoshiki's karma seal and went back there to get more of kaguya's Chakura.
There is also another theory I got:
Watch as Shibai's godhood be limited to the planet he gained it on. If the planet dies, the otsutsuki god dies as well. Hence the planet was not fully consumed by the god tree planted by him. He could have also manipulated events to ensure the survival of the planet like Kaguya releasing some of the humans during the first Infinite Tsukiomi (spelling) cast by her, and the two other times she was sealed. By becoming a god, he also had to take up the mantel of guardian of the planet.... Like Kami from dragonball...

god, sorry for the replies. one thing to build onto your point about boruto having a sliver of shibai's power - one thing that Isshiki brought up when talking to Kashin Koji, was that he had a pretty big emphasis on "genes." It could be the case that Momoshiki has a similar genetic make-up as Shibai. This would also make sense seeing as Momoshiki was brought in looking like royalty. It'd make sense if he was royalty because he had a similar genetic make up as Shibai - their version of God, or Hagoromo.
There could be something to this in general for sure. The question is just what shape means what, and if 1 vs 2 horns means anything. That being said, borushiki isn’t stronger than Kawaki nor is he stronger than isshiki, yet his horn is closest to shibais, so idk if strength necessarily means a certain shape or not

This theory about how Kaguya and Momoshiki could be the kids of Shibai and mixing the DNA of Kaguya and Momoshiki to create Shibai's DNA does sound interesting. My CONTENTION "love that word" with this theory is Momoshiki before he was defeated had consumed Kenshiki which means his DNA is inside Momoshiki. SO mixing kaguya's, Kenshiki and Momoshiki's DNA, would that necessarily recreate Shibai's chakra??? Last time I checked, Kenshiki wasn't Momoshiki's brother. Kenshiki came off more as a bodyguard than anything.
That’s actually a really good point I didn’t think much about, so I guess it just depends on whether any of kinshikis essence is in borutos karma seal or not. Momoshiki is in his original form, which might indicate for whatever reason he couldn’t copy kinshikis data over into the karma too, or it means he can just activate his “fused form”. If we ever see momoshiki in fused form again then yeah momoshiki and kaguya probably didn’t recreate shibais chakra since kinshiki doesn’t seem like he should be in the mix. If momoshiki lost kinshikis power, then it could work with that mixture theory. Just depends on that I guess!
Also I just thought of something. If momoshiki can turn kenshiki into a chakra fruit... why didn't kaguya turn Isshiki into a chakra fruit to increase her power? I mean the reason she created the zetsu army was to fight against the Otsutsuki who were gonna come looking for her correct?? Would have been beneficial for her to use him to increase her strength. I think part of that is just momoshiki getting into the horn state whereas boruto himself can’t do that, and instead has the “true essence form” we saw vs code. So momoshikis better skill could just be him going into horn mode, granted he also does other things like rasendans and stuff. We can’t really quantify how much power Kawaki actually uses with his karma vs momoshiki so there could be some truth there but we don’t know how much if any at all. We just know boruto seems worse at it than Kawaki lol
@@msp1925 isshiki would definitely fight better than Kawaki, but to be fair Kawaki unlocked his abilities instantly lol except for using daikokuten on people, he only tried that later on. He’s actually already done more abilities than jigen and isshiki ever did

The clear answer would be that they’re a result of Shibai’s karma, but what we‘ve SEEN from the events of the story leads us to think that they’re Momoshiki’s. It’s like Sasuke’s dilemma where he can tell something isn’t adding up but his brain is gaslighting him. What if Omnipotence has already been used like Momoshiki insinuated to switch Momoshiki and Shibai’s places - or substitute a fraction of Shibai’s powers for Momoshiki’s using Momoshiki dead body as a vessel.
The way Momoshiki learned the true identity of Eida’s love ability was almost as if he was searching through some kind of Otsutsuki data archive or something, not just thinking about the ability and hoping to remember. He claims he knows all Shinjutsu but It’s almost like he’s clairvoyant in the senrigan sense or something, and we’ve seen Eida search for things in similar ways-like when she was confirming if Akebi existed. Ofc he hasn’t showcased Daemon’s reflection ability or the dharmagan but he could have his rinnegan.
We’ve also never seen Boruto use Momoshiki’s abilities, which is odd since Kawaki has been spamming the dharmagan (I’m just gonna call it that) and pretty much being an improved version of Isshiki since he got it. Kawaki, Eida, and Daemon are even able to use all of their abilities without Karma. He uses the byakugan but Shibai also has it in the exact same eye.
Anyway, the Momoshiki we know and love could have been a dupe all along. Why would Shibai want to be Momoshiki? Who knows. Maybe he’s bored of being omniscient and Boruto’s future being unpredictable made him want to experience it.

I definitely think that if momoshiki is in fact shibai, then that’s probably what he was referencing when he mentioned omnipotence being used on humans in the past, but the question is why isshiki didn’t notice the truth in that case since otsutsuki are immune to omnipotence. And idek how momoshiki knows all shinjutsu lol like how does he actually know every single one 😂 who gives him that info lol. As for momoshikis abilities I’ll talk about that more in an upcoming video but tbh they really aren’t relevant in borushikis fights

Base on the manga/anime. Isshiki is far stronger than Momoshiki like you said. But I think Momoshiki’s potential is far greater. It will depends which one Momoshiki will absorb. What if he can absorb the other Otsutsuki too that is far greater than Kinshiki which is his partner? That would make him much stronger.

Why doesn’t code have any horns?
I gave a potential explanation in the video which is that he might not have access to enough of his otsutsuki chakra with his white karma seal to grow any horns. You seem to need at least 80% of the karma extracted before you can even grow a horn (maybe 75% is the bare minimum) and that’s only when you use the karma power to its fullest extent, meaning you gotta draw out 80%+ of the karma seal, so code might only have access to let’s say 50% of that otsutsuki chakra and thus no horns for him

@@dyluht it’s possible but partly depends on what the limiters actually limited. Was it limiting the karma specifically, code specifically, or a mix of both? We don’t know yet but i think it either limited code himself or both code and the karma seal but not just the karma alone if that makes sense. If we do see him grow a horn that’ll be huge though and give more insight as to how his power works
@@kamuidimension I’m gonna assume we haven’t seen his full potential. I don’t see any reason to why he wouldn’t get some form of horn in the future. And if he never does evolve into having a horn then he may not have a long character life in the storyline because without the slight transformation there’s no chance of him competing with Boruto and Kawaki in their otsutsuki states.
@@dyluht we definitely haven’t seen his full potential probably but idk how far he’ll go. He should be stronger than boruto and Kawaki right now but who knows by how much and how long that will last. Like you said if he never improves then he’ll just get surpassed and he done with for good and not stick around very long in that case

I know you’ve done a couple of videos on the current dojutsu but do you know of any lore that has to do with eclipses in Shinto or Buddhist culture? I think Boruto is the Full/Super blue moon Sarada is a sun Eida is a crescent moon/lunar eclipse Kawaki is a solar eclipse Daemon is a half moon Sage Mitski is a full/harvest moon.
I still wanna find something about eclipses tbh. Because the moons are easy with boruto, eida, and daemon. Sarada and Kawaki could be related to suns, and then codes eye change and mitsukis are wild cards for now. Idk what mitsukis would be, and idk if codes eyes are meant to represent a solar eclipse or not.
