I now exclusively only use my Knox jacket. My only regret is I wish I had found out about them sooner. Thanks for taking the time to comment, it’s appreciated 👍🏼
Thank you, new sub. I have the Urbane Pro MK3 jacket for really hot weather with the MK2 pants. I found this better for ventilation than the Tor. Knox is really super - difficult to go back to “normal” jackets. Cheers
I totally agree. I’m actually a bit annoyed with myself that I didn’t discover Knox kit earlier. Next purchase will probably be gloves or the trousers. Thank you for the Sub. It is greatly appreciated. Stay safe and keep riding👍🏻
Strange as it may seem, I don’t think I had ever heard of the brand Knox before getting this jacket. After a bit of research they seem to have been making biking kit for some time. Really, really happy so far… but time will tell how it stands up to some serious hi mileage. P. S looks like you had a blast at the ABR👍🏻👍🏻
Really tempted to buy this but would like a review of it in +30 temps. I bought an Alpinestars halo in the spring based on reviews. Very adaptable jacket but heavy and pretty uncomfortable with neck chafing and elbow chafing from the armour. Rode in 35 degrees temp and it wasn't any better than my ancient rst adventure jacket. Very stiff and awkward as well. Really need something super cool in the heat that will also accommodate my kies heated jacket in the winter. Maybe iam asking too much?
I think the hottest I have ridden in this is around 20+ degrees so far. I wish I had it earlier in the year when I was in Morocco! I cannot imagine that there is much better in terms of ventilation and protection, that said I haven't put it through any kind of extreme heat test yet but I have ridden with the main zip down and that coupled with the mesh fabric throws huge amounts of air at you. In terms of short term durability, Im still using it virtually everyday. I even rode to work in it this evening (yes I'm actually typing this at work) and I'm impressed. It is very, very comfortable. I doubt I will ever go back to a traditional motorcycle over jacket. As promised I will do a long term review of this jacket in around 12 months time. Sorry I cannot offer any experience of the jacket in hotter climates (yet). Good luck with your ongoing search. Stay safe & keep riding.
@ thanks buddy, very useful. I was expecting it be a bit more lightweight. Comparing with the klim badlands pro yea 1.2kg less Similar Comparing the klim Marrakech that is 2.2 kg with level 2 D3O armor. But looks like Knox Tor is more useful due to the pockets. And maybe more comfortable .
Great review. It really looks like a fantastic piece of kit. Will consider this, because my summer jacket is just too hot. High quality review! Well done. Do they have pants to match?? I can Google it, of course. Thanks
Hi Rolf. I’m loving this jacket. I think it could be, dare I say it, a “game changer” when it comes to Adv riding and especially camping as you can use whatever jacket you have as your round camp jacket can become your bike outer shell when riding. This all means less weight. In terms of comfort it’s seriously like you are wearing nothing. I wish I had it for Morocco. Anyway, yes they have trousers as well but more street biased so maybe ideal for you? www.planet-knox.com/product/mens-urbane-pro-trousers-mk2/
Hi mate I’m using the Kriega T18 : kriega.com/riderpacks/trail18 I also did a detailed review of it (not sponsored) here: ruclips.net/video/_MbaTYFbJPw/видео.htmlsi=PQzY9yPkecqZ5gFN If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to ask👍🏼
I CAN NOW CONFIRM THE WATERPROOF SHELL IS EXCELLENT IN HEAVY RAIN👍🏻
I've been very happy with the Knox gear I've got and think this will be the next one. Excellent review, thanks.

Great review - love the Knox gear most comfortable kit that I own
I don’t think I can ever go back to a “normal” motorcycle jacket. Thanks for the comment.👍🏼
@@GreenString already looking at my next purchases; -)

Nice one! Was tempted to get one at the ABR, really great stuff!

@GreenString Thanks for the info. Subscribed and will look forward to future info on the knox kit👍
Hi buddy, do you know what is the weight of this jacket? im looking to replace my klim badlands pro ˜3.5-4kgwith something lightweight. thanks
Hi, that’s a good question. I’m at work at the moment (nightshift) but when I get home tomorrow morning I’ll weigh it… watch this space👍🏻
OK, I’ve just weighed the Knox Tor jacket, it weighs: 2.3kg / 5,071 lbs ( size M ). I hope this helps. 👍🏻

@@GreenString looks nice indeed! Thanks.
I can imagine the jacket to be very allround/versatile and thus a game changer. I love that kind of kit.
