Beautiful spots up there! Awesome that you got to see the whales😁 Looks like you're having a great trip so far and I'm looking forward to the next episode😀
The scenery never disappoints, whale and bear sightings, and all the correct implements!!! This trip is a winner and it's just getting started!!! Damn that creek looked cold
Ep2 was certainly a surprise one as I was not expecting for another week or so, but eh! bring it on guys. Another marvellous outdoor camping trip. Really awesome drone captures all along. The Island just doesn’t disappoint at all. Bears ✅ Whales ✅ Camping with Bears ✅ $5 calorie free doughnut ✅ Diesel will be like: guys what’s wrong so many checks and above all you got all cutlery for food…whaaaaaaat😂😂😂 Cheers for sharing another adventure, safe travels!
Trying our best to keep the videos consistent ! It's an amazing place, we're glad we get to show people our home :). You guys need to get out here and experience it for yourself ! Cheers guys ! Thanks again for your support
So excited for your van…and you brought all the things!! We’re planning a trip to Canada/Alaska next year so we are eager to find the great places! Take care and keep the videos coming!
@@BlazingBursons thanks guys! Our recommendation is to spend some time in the Yukon along your route to Alaska! Kluane is incredible. Have a great trip and thanks for watching. Cheers
Really made me want a telephoto lens haha but regardless it was an incredible experience. Thanks for following along man, we appreciate it ! There's going to be some really cool camp locations in the next video ! Cheers
The Chevy express van is an excellent travel vehicle. We did 2 trips from Vancouver to the Yukon and the Dempster highway in mine. High clearance and parts are easy to find.
Would you be able to send me any info on where you stayed for some of these campgrounds? I’m going at the end of the month and some of these spots look great
This kind of adventure feels like child's play in comparison to that Titan Submersible adventurers just had. Why don't you go in the bottom of Atlantic Ocean and show us the titanic wreckage.
Oh it really does. I have a 2023 standard body version of your van. I installed a compact compressor under the hood of my GMC Savana and air down whenever I am off pavement. Reduces the shock to the vehicle's components and makes for a much more enjoyable ride. However, do not try this technique with SL (standard load) street tires as the sidewalls will fail. Definitely need AT (all-terrain tires), just remember to air up when about to get back onto paved roads. @@wayoftheroads
@@garthwheeler1338 Love the advice, we plan to do these upgrades in the future. For a RWD, it still handles pretty well on rougher roads! Thanks for sharing !
Hello! I spent 5 weeks exploring northern Vancouver Island and I’m not done yet. I would like to know what recreation site near Sayward is with the waterfall that you slept in?
Glad you enjoyed the island. A little confusing tho, one minute you're in Nanaimo and the next you're north of Sayward? There is a lot of great island adventures in between. The Comox Valley is the recreational capital of Canada and Hornby Island is simply magical.
Thanks. We live in Comox area, so didn't film much (other videos on CR & Courtenay area) . You're right, lots of adventures in between those cities. We've spent the last Christmas's on Hornby! Love it there. Thanks for watching
@@wayoftheroads Ahh...I wasn't aware that you are islanders lol! I assumed you were tourists exploring - I should pay attention! I spent 40 years on the Island, mostly in Comox and my late wife was born and raised on Hornby Island.
@@suddenlysolo2170 sorry to hear of you wife's passing. Yes, the island is a magical place ❤️. The list of adventures to be had just continues to grow lol. Cheers
I just found you. I love my island, my family has lived here since the 1860's and you are showcasing it beautifully.
That's awesome! We love hearing that coming from a local ☺️
Love it! Fellow BC boy here, lived on the Island for 10 years in Campbell river. Love camping all up and down the pacific coast.
So calming

Which siye and falls is on this nice video.
Eas it the rec site near San Joseph Bay?
North Vancouver Island! Yes, there are some camping options near San Josef Bay :)
Enjoying your vids. Question: do you air down your tires when on logging roads or at any time you are on other than paved road surfaces?
Thanks Garth! I do not, but I probably should lol Would make for a much comfier ride.

There's quite a few different ones we were on for this trip. Mostly up north around Alice Lake
