Thank you very much for commenting on one of my videos. I finally made it over to one of yours. Much better quality than mine, by the way. I look forward to seeing more of yours.
We did the exact same thing heading to that waterfall 3 weeks ago. Also, we're heading back to the island this week to head up to Cape Scott, then working our way south over the next 9 days. Cheers
Awesome! That'll be a great trip. We wish we had longer to do some more exploring. Hwy 28 to Tahsis is still one of our favourite drives. Safe travels ! 🍻
@@wayoftheroads Good to know. I think we will head straight to Cape Scott when we get off the ferry. Late boat, so it will take 2 nights, and then head towards Campbell River at a pace that allows us to see as much as we can.
Yooohooo maiden voyage with the Van..very nice to see you folks on the road again. Nice drone footage as usual. Looking forward for the next episode and also waiting for the van build to unfold…cheers for now and safe travels!
Thanks guys ! Sorry for the hiatus! One day we'll be able to be on the road full time and we'll have an endless supply of footage to share with everyone:). The Van will be getting worked on this weekend now that the weather is nice here on the island ! Lots more adventures to come. Thanks again for all your support, cheers
Victoria almost looks out of place with the rest of the scenery there on the island, looking forward to seeing the van build, Awesome picture of the waterfall, keep up the good work guys
Evertytime I see the beautiful nature of Vancouver Island, I want to return there and relive the memories I had there in 2018 and 2019. Great video and can't wait for future video's on Cananda's nature and wildlife! Greetings from the Netherlands (almost the same climate here, haha!) Hopefully I will return to the island next year!
Glad you could relive those experiences through our videos ! Thank you for watching! We hope to make it across the water one of these days and explore Europe 🌍. Cheers!
Such a good episode guys! You’re making me want to pull out my BRMB and book a ferry right now. 😂 The north of the island is 100% on my list later this year, so can’t wait to see where you end up. Keep up the great work 👊🏻 cheers, Chris
Thanks Chris! We wish we spent more time up north on this trip. We will definitely be making more trips north this summer. So many great camping opportunities up there. Get in touch if you ever make it out this way. Cheers and thanks again for the support !
I'm enjoying the first vlog just as much as the second. I will be staying in Victoria. My friend has access to a boat so I'll be going fishing. I will then be going up to Campbell River to visit family and friends. You 2 work well together.
You're right, it's very limited. We stayed downtown a few times with no issue. It can only be the side streets with the sign staying 'residential parking from 9am - 6pm' (or whatever the time restraints were, can't remember)
@@miliba Hmm yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you're going to go up the mountain you will certainly want winter tires or at least a good pair of All Terrain tires. We haven't had any snow this year yet but it does come from time to time! Also because of how wet it is here, if it gets cold enough, black ice becomes an issue as well. Hope this helps! Cheers
@@wayoftheroads I don't plan on straying too far away from Victoria, so probably driving along the coast towards Mystic Beach, if the weather isn't too awful. But yeah going into the mountains without winter tires is indeed insane haha Thanks for all the tips man!
Way of the roads ? It's a reference to a Canadian show called 'trailer park boys'. I thought it was appropriate for a road trip/adventure channel such as ours. Thanks for asking ! Cheers
@@wayoftheroads way she fuckin goes. My wife and I actually know the boys and I work for Swearnet in the US. I knew the minute Steve said it. You ever need any TPB schwag, reach out, I'm your man. Knomesayin?
@@kip9999 hahaha love this response! What an awesome job to have! Loved seeing their stand up shows back in Ontario years ago. Lahey and Randy were always a hoot to see as well (r.i.p ❤️🥃) I may take you up on that offer ! Would love to represent some TPB merch on our channel !
Hey friend !! We see you've made your way to the 'buy me a coffee' page. Very kind of you, we really appreciate it!! Going to check out some TPB merch now
That Cape Scott is STUNNING
Sure is !!
A very beautiful part of Canada! Thanks for taking us with you on your trip.

Thanks !
I’m from Victoria and I’d love to know where you camped in downtown Victoria. Not a lot to choose from really.

What is your fuel consumption like on your Chevy? I have a 5.3 L half ton. Silverado and it is thirsty towing a travel trailer.
Hey Mike.. yeah it's not great lol we get about 700 km hwy driving but it's a big tank. Seems to be staying around 15L/100km
That does not seem too bad I get about 20/100 towing - enjoy your camper

Just spray foam. The rest of the insulation was done after this trip.

where in Victoria did you camp ?
Hi Greg, we usually find a quiet side street at night, park for the night to sleep then head out early the next morning !
