‘’ We thought we were leaving Monday but no no no “ lol yes thank goodness it was a day later!!! So cool to see Holberg and the scarlet ibis ! We had burgers there too! It was raining and off season so no one was there but we were so happy they were open! Went to that dock that you stayed the night at too! We didn’t stay the night though. Diesel and his short term girlfriend …so cute! 😂 Never did the ferry over to Prince Rupert ..never even went to Prince Rupert ..we just would go straight up the cassier or if we were coming south on the cassier we were on our way home and didn’t want to take the detour /dead end to Rupert … sad we didn’t cause it looked beautiful! ‘’ it’s almost 2 in the afternoon …I’m having onion rings “ 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣. Good job on another awesome video …👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Just returned from an incredible 2 months travelling in Alaska and the Yukon so looking forward to your upcoming videos which are thoughtful, well edited and informative.
Congrats you three!!!!! I'm so thrilled for you and looking forward to "hitchhiking" with you :) Look at Diesel having all the right moves... of course pretty little lady couldn't stay away!!! and the yellow striped tie!!!!!!!!!! OMG 💞 Happy travels!
We need a Q&A!! I'm invested in you guys, love the adventures. I'm curious to know how you met, what do you do for work, how did you both get into loving this life, what's your back story?? 😊 - from a local Vancouver BC girl living through your videos ❤
We'd love to do that! We plan to do an episode specifically on how we do what we do/who we are/ how we got here etc. ☺️. We appreciate that you want to learn more about us!
I’m a new subscriber but thank you for the great video. I’m originally from the Island but I have picked up a few new places from you so thank you! We travel in a Westfalia.
Hey Guys!! The journey has begun!!!! Awesome!!! So looking forward to living vicariously through you. Love the tie on Diesel, and dude that burger. OMG
The Holburger! If you ever get out here...highly recommend! Haha. We're pretty excited to be out here doing what we do! There'll be some Ontario videos in the nearby future as well 👀
Safe Travels on your adventures!!! Now that’s how you live life !!! Look forward to experiencing your adventures with you Thank you for sharing Mario from Campbell River!
So enjoyed this video and as I do each time you get a new one out. Thanks for sharing the adventures with everyone and the work that goes into each. Love the way Diesel goes along with you....He is a Happy Dog being with his Mom and Dad. They do become part of the family. Look forward to the next one.BE safe.
@wayoftheroads I have a suggestion. Have you guys thought about putting your blankets in garbage bags when you go down the dirt roads? It will save you time cleaning them.
Hey the other handy item is a tire patch kit. Sometimes you can put in a plug without even taking off the tire. Works great with a portable air compressor.
I absolutely love your channel! I was scrolling thru my RUclips one night and there you were! I can’t stop watching you guys! You guys are amazing together, I love your dog as well. He is so handsome! I can’t believe you guys don’t have 100,000 followers by now! Good luck on your journey! I will be watching from San Diego! Be safe out there!! ❤️❤️
Leaving the island always gets me right in the pit of the stomach! It's hard to do. You're gonna miss the food when you leave that part of the world! I sure do!
I swear I saw you last night at Whitehorse superstore, but didn’t see you outside so didn’t know for sure. I left lots of Starlink data on iOverlander for Allana (lifeondenman) for the Yukon. I just got back from Tombstone and absolutely fell in love. I hope you guys go in the fall so I can see the colours - but I will be back. Have a blast you guys, hopefully will cross paths one day
@@elsaparsons4444 hi Elsa! That was definitely us, we stayed in Whitehorse for a few days! We would've loved to chat! Glad you got to see Tombstone... It's still one of our favourite places. We are going to be adventuring the Yukon for most of September.. very excited to see the colors change and the aurora. Looking forward to crossing paths one day. Cheers ☺️
Do you guys air down on gravel roads? We air down to about 20 psi and it makes it a little more tolerable. Just don’t forget to air up when you reach pavement. Great video. Looking forward to the trip north.
20 eh? I only go that low for soft roads. I use too much extra gas in my 4Runner. Depends on rig weight though... Low 30s is good for most gravel roads for me, fast and efficient and comfortable, although I went sideways speeding over potholes the other day 😂
Beautiful story! Exploring BC together and talking for endless hours! Can’t wait to see you guys again
Great to spend some time with you, Sandro! Looking forward to next time. Have a blast on your travels, pal
@@wayoftheroads smooth travels! Say Hi to Diesel for me!

And there IS a canoe on the rig! #1 most important overlanding accessory right there.
Can't forget the canoe!

Absolutely! We always have some stashed away in the van. It came in handy when we did the Dempster a couple years ago !

Every overland rig needs a canoe! Adds floatation!
100% agree 😅

Diesel needs an outdoor cot/bed to hang with you guys by the fire
It’s a Dog. It sits on the ground.. It Rolls in dirt. You wanna keep cleaning an outdoor bed? Yeah…That’s what I thought
We have 3 blankets designated for him to lay on and half the time he chooses to lay right in the dirt instead 🤣

We don't really, but I'm curious if it's okay to air down M&S tires? They're not All terrain so I wasn't sure if it's smart to air down.
@@wayoftheroads I air down the stock tires on our Jeep wrangler and have had no problems.
