This reminds me of the Scripture "But seek ye FIRST the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and ALL things shall be ADDED unto you." Matt 6:33. Abraham sought God FIRST when sacrificing Isaac, and now, ALL could be added. He finally "understood the assignment", so to speak #OTwithDA

I loved this chapter. All I see is Jesus Christ the Redeemer. Abraham life was all trial and error but full of love for God. His faults didn't remove the calling or promise. So it is with us, with must claim our inheritance the blessing of Abraham came from his understanding of God's perfect love.
My word is Redeemed Point- The beautiful plan of salvation is all on our savior. Once we understand that our obedience leads to God's promises and a life of morality. Step by step Abraham's character mirrored the character of Christ. Person- The person of Jesus Christ. God gave us His son before the sin came in. God's plan is that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice God knows Satan is the counterfeit of love and he doesn't shame us but He pursues us to redeem us. Prayer- God help me stay in your arms. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believed in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Help me pass my test in life and know your promises is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Practice- Obedience is better than sacrifice. Protection, security, health everything we need in life is in loving God more than His gifts. Promise- God restores Infinite Love and mercy
That was a weird thing for Gid to test Abraham on. To which now it's consequences have caused great conflict between Israel and Muslims. But God knows best. Also Egypt plays an underrated part in bible stories compared to them being Muslim today.
The trouble that occurs when Abraham has relations with a woman other than his one wife shows again God's plan was one husband, one wife. Any relation outside of God's plan for marriage is damaging.
