The Stradivari Cello is a meticulous recreation of a unique and treasured instrument that is nearly 300 years old. The ultra-deep sampling and variety of articulations make it a great tool to create realistic performances, geared particularly for a classical sound.

One of the most beautiful cellos out there. The vibrato control is a huge highlight. People want this to be a romantic cello. Why? Wake up. Cello of that era did not use Vibrato regularly - and certainly not like the Diva today. But this has the nice LFO built in. Nice array of articulations - lots of keyswitch spaces. Too wet? Go to the close Mic as its def more near the dry end of libraries out there. NI and E instruments have handed something truly special from both a playability and a historical frame. Great review!
Hey! Thank you for your review. Which is/are your recommended solo cello plugin that can be used with Kontakt? I'm looking for a cello plugin to be used in a small ensemble with a classical /romantic sound, that has realistic sounding shorts (staccato and the likes) and an expressive legato for lead melodies. Would appreciate any help, thanks.
Locked vibrato speed is what repelled me.
I love the tone overall - Great, detailed review.
So, what do you think about the idea of playing this up against/with Spitfire Solo cello?
An Angel came down and blessed Stradivari.
No one can make another.
My problem is i have just paid for the collectors edition of komplege and the stradivari cello won't even download onto my computer using Access. Gets about 10gb into thd download then stops working.
Gorgeous
Hello. Is it e one Cello or Cello Group?
One cello
Woow
A great video of ads with a review mixed in.
my problem with these libraries is there are only 2 or 3 libraries in the world whose legato patches are somewhat usable, everything else just sounds atrociously artificial
Please can you switch your format....all the cheeky stuff and nitty gritty at the end...and get to brass tax pretty quickly...I want to know how it sounds before I want to know the gritty
The vibrato is unnatural, it’s more like a switch than a realistic fade in.
The evolve vibrato seems to have the fade in a bit more. Using a midi cc you can manually introduce it, going from non-vib to varying degrees of vibrato. This library does need a lot of programming, but it's doable. As I mention in the review as it is essentially an LFO it's not quite the same as a real vibrato. Once someone cracks the code of truly programmable recorded vibrato that will be ace!
@@samburtyboy what do you think of virharmonic bohemian cello?
@@Fralibers I have not got it, but I heard good things. The demos are very impressive.
@@Fralibers Way too expensive for a solo cello. It sounds great, but I can't find an excuse to pay that kind of money for a cello. Lots of high quality cellos out there for less money.
