Ending was a huge shock for me. I actually thought we were still controlling the same character but i was wrong! Soundtrack, visuals, puzzles and gameplay was all beautiful. Everyone should play this game.
It was clear that they are both different because in part 1 the protagonist was a girl while here it was a boy.

I love how the perspective is flipped near the end, showing the origional okomotive machine from lone sails as it was when we left it.

The way the music picks up when the engine of the ship starts, the thuds and clanks and hums mixing in with the soundtrack, as if the mechanism itself was singing.
This is a game where you put your headphones on and a nice drink and enjoy the ride. Excellent game!

For those who forgot or didn't recognize the dead lady at 2:13:29 is the same lady from 2:15 to whom due to the color scheme of her and the main character I believe that she is her mother, which is much the same as from the first game the characters father whose burial we were at in the beginning was the creator of the massive vehicle you used, I suspect that these two that are already dead know each other but died before they could reach each other but they're children finished their plan

I thought they were married and one was On one side of the world while the other was on the other side when the world seemingly ended and these are the 2 kid Siblings that were separated and they got together

The tie in with Far:Lone sails left me awe struck, the game is a easy 10/10.

So I didn't know this was a sequel until I was already almost done playing it. The ending didn't hit me as hard as it would've if I played the first game. However, I can still appreciate the storyline. This game was awesome and so much fun to play.
I loved playing this game on Gamepass! Just a beautiful experience.

Must play, must observe the otherworldly beauty.
I am ready to play it, but for me its better to spend my sunday evening to watching your walktrought and get fascinated about this game with a beer (: well played (: fine memorable thing on the end when you put a litlle box to boiler same way like in the Lone Sails. End is epic and changing the camera position its like the creators need to give you that feeling..
THE ENDING WAS INCREDIBLE.

I actually thought the body of the woman in the icebreaker was Lone (main protagonist of the first game) when I saw the drawing of her in the paper, considering the fact that Lone is a girl. Then at the lighthouse near the end, I was really shocked when I heard the horn and the achievement "A Familiar Sound?" came up- I was dying man it was so awesome. Hopefully, we get a continuation of these two on another voyage together.
The next game should have a co-op feature, one player can control Lone while the other controls Tide (the boy for this game). It would make managing the ship easier, of course for single player, you can alternate between controlling them, for example, you can have Lone on standby with the hose while using Tide to run the engine, or have Tide hang back with the sail hook while Lone keeps her eyes open for any low-hanging obstacles. Hell, have the third game turn both vehicles into a big airship.

I unfortunately hang up my welder on the wrong hook, at burned it into flames. Not a good idea :( So i did the most of the game with a broken engine, which alway get overheated. A bit stressed in the big underwater sewer with a single or two box of fuel. I have to dive and and forward and cool the engine - and find out which way meanwhile ...
Next time i found a welder, I took on foot all over the big and long part of ice ... never now when it will be possible to get one again *lol* (spoiler: there is a welder on the iceberg, when you find youer vessel again)
Hmm, based on both games, here is my guess on what happened to this world. The locations of the bodies of water must have shifted. This dry land areas to flood and wet areas to suffer drought.

I ran out of fuel and theres none around now what im like 34 mins in never mind figured it out went to my last save picked up all the boxes and fuel and fixed my ship witht the grrn thing that was in the sand didnt realize

Its a floating city. Left to be populated by whoever finds it I assume.
The game was remarkable, the atmosphere the soundtrack, the puzzles, the underwater physics, ship mechanics, it's a really fun and very immersive experience!! everything was amazing. two thumbs up!

It's an immersive game so it won't hold your finger with popup guides but I get what you mean, it isn't actually frustrating though. Relax, and play with patience... if you just explore and problem solve, you'd figure out all the puzzles.

Thanks for this, had to watch it because my aeronaut bugged. The ring you hook onto didn't rotate so I couldn't dock. I've been stuck for an hour trying to figure out what the game wanted me to do!
i got into the balloon dock but didn't have any fuel so I had to quit the game.

What's the slow blinking indicator/blue ring thing right next to where you operate the furnace ~26 min in? I'm at that part of the game myself and I don't understand it.

Theorizing: In this timeline, the Earth started changing faster than civilization could survive. In the end, it was only engineers that could survive. There was no room left on Earth for dullards who couldn't figure out how to survive without a society.

Its ok, the camera is really bad in some parts, the gameplay evoveld in a interesting way, I know its hard to make a on water game like this. Overall not as good as the first one. Its mechanics that are weird, like you can smash into something and your ship will still keep flaping and wasting fuel because you cant be bothered to take the hose and turn it off.
The first game was far superior.

all water from equator started flowing and drowning ones mainlands and draining the the others.

So I kinda accidentally put the repair can in the fuel furnace thing after the flood and now I can’t get it to run for more than a few seconds. I’ve searched for an extra but I don’t see one. Any ideas?

You can put the light bulb on the chandelier after you repair the back of the ship.
Or you can use it as fuel

This game sucked so bad. The first game was enjoyable but this is just tedious. Too much to hassle. The ship is constantly broken you constantly run out of fuel etc... No fun. At one point I had to reload because the was no wind and there were no fuel like honestly are they serious? I dived as long as I could but there were no fuel to be found.
Same, gave up quite early cuz I had no patience to reload saves from god know how long ago just to find more fuel

I got this game on the game pass and I can't get past the intro. Im stuck looking at the press any button screen and nothing I do triggers the intro. I've uninstalled, and checked windows to see if thats the issue. Any help would be great.

I don’t think it had a real effect. If there’s wind, conserve your fuel and sail. I just finished the game and never ran into an instance where I didn’t have fuel when I needed it.

It's better for you to boot from a checkpoint when there was a repair kit. Otherwise, you will swim for a very long time.
2:43 is the hard part of the the game so far ..
I wouldn't exactly go at full speed in iceberg filled waters. You don't have a life boat or 🎻.

Man this game is boring. Also, my boat got hit by lightning in the middle of the ocean and wouldn't move anymore. I assumed you had to carry on without it and then just got thrown about by the storm in the dark. Thought it was some story bit like at the end of Journey but it just wouldn't end. Got annoyed AF and uninstalled.
