Try finding good ones though. I've followed With My Friends for ages, it's still developing nicely, and the writing is - within the software architecture's limitations - solid. Another one that's keeping me interested is the romp that is "Becoming a Femboy". Progress is slow, the game is at a very, VERY, early stage in its development, but the premise, its delivery, and the fact that the handholding is minimal makes it my favourite project to follow. I adore the traditional Japanese-style games, too, so Trap Shrine has me in stitches, as well as tears, simply because the developers took care over the writing, scene-building, and consistency of the characters. With all that done it's much easier to translate into good idiomatic English, too. Given the overblown "reactions" to anything involving non-binary about the rarity. Profoundly disappointed, yes, because we know better as a species, and can do better. real people can't be treated like badly-written cartoon characters any more, so let's change that from the inside - how we position them in our culture - and stand up for everyone.
@@SexPositiveGaming That, Subscribestar and the new one...Boostr? Boosty?...seem to be the place to go for cute girly-boys. Ahem. ...For any content that concerns non-binary sexual expressions or identifications. (Did I get away with it?)
Is it possible that these games were banned because they don't have a censored patch? Most games nowadays come with a censored version and most of those are what ends up in steam and the user usually will have to download a separate patch outside of steam to get the full experience. I assume these don't have those hence why they weren't able to get into Steam. Most especially a couple of these are fairly old where the original devs probably couldn't bother making a censored patch or no longer have access to the old files or something along those lines.
There was no "one" reason, but at the end of the day we're talking about justifying book burning. Steam is allowed to censor and ban as much as they want. All we can do is choose whether or not to justify that behavior or condemn it.
@@SexPositiveGaming that's a bad take. I wish valve allowed whatever as long as it was predatory. However, no adult games were allowed not too long ago. If Gee oh gee gets enough biz then valve will. Always sucks when they ban the second game but still allow the first game. Evenicle 1 is still up and its a great game. The demo for 2 is still on steam at least. @Sex Positive Gaming I know I'm a broken record there :) I'm giving Exiori a try since it says more flavors than just hetero, so far the writing is pretty rough though and bosses have way too much hp, but does have an interesting combat so far. Steam have an 18+ section isn't any different than you local movie rental store having an 18+ section though. Granted, if you didn't live through those times, I can see why it would shock younger people.
I really wish there were reasons added too, I know the reasons are likely not public, but I've seen some very explicit content released on steam, but some content is to my knowledge banned like anything where the age is illegal, and I imagine that grape would also be banned etc, but I don't know
Steam does not enforce equally they have games that are very dark but will still block others jerez arena is an example. They let the sequel up but duel princess is somehow worse.
Thanks for sharing! Steam's enforcement does seem to be inconsistent. Maybe this will end up being another video on Patreon.
Steam bans many when they see school uniforms, especially if the characters look young. And this is after the adult content is removed.
@@SexPositiveGaming that's a bad take. I wish valve allowed whatever as long as it was predatory. However, no adult games were allowed not too long ago. If Gee oh gee gets enough biz then valve will. Android and ios outright ban all adult content, even art. So.... Calling it book burning is offensive to the actual book burning taking place with books in my state's schools about non-hetero relationships.
the censorship patch issue is only applied to eastern porn games. There are MANY porn games on steam that don't have that issue
@@Skarry If that is true, how are there adult mobile games in Japan? They use Android as well.
this is amazing! thank you!
My pleasure!
censoring art/fiction is always sucks
Sadly that has not been the consensus in the feedback.
I hope The Genesis Order will release on Steam.
If we're lucky, we'll see it released this year.
I feel and sense there someone has DEI stuff wanted to ban them.
Let's not bring any of that conversation into this space please. You only have like the rest of RUclips to talk about it.
@@SexPositiveGaming Well someone is charge. Things are not simple. I mean they would have some department like DEI like Sony. Content control and there should be bad apples among the staff. How they ban with out proper reason. As well novel writer are kick out and other sectors for the industry so there link to many area.
Seems GOG/CDPR isnt opposed to and I am bleeping this (given what you said) for obvious reasons **** content given the popularity of Rebecca from Edgerunners and that they even let Trigger add Rebecca because you can see THAT is the reason without even playing any of those. Many of these titles are ******* bait.

@@SexPositiveGaming anytime :D
Always sucks when they ban the second game but still allow the first game. Evenicle 1 is still up and its a great game. The demo for 2 is still on steam at least.
I like Kagura's method of working around, but feel like one day steam will ban then regardless. Also a shame that Kagura very rarely does flavors outside of hetero.
I think as the industry continues to grow we will see more publishers provide non-heteronormative content.
@Sex Positive Gaming I know I'm a broken record there :)
I'm giving Exiori a try since it says more flavors than just hetero, so far the writing is pretty rough though and bosses have way too much hp, but does have an interesting combat so far. Resolution is a bit too pulled back though and hard to read, especially on steam deck.
GOG is getting Tokyo Clanpool but not Steam.
Good job GOG!
can we get a tierlist for the best homio steam releases?
Not sure what that means, sorry!
@@SexPositiveGaming imean gay/ homo erotic
Censorship = Evil
I think people mean well, but they don't realize that by censoring they are almost always making a "problem" worse.
Nice 👍
Thanks!
I don't get it, there are some truly ridiculous games not banned from steam.
Book burning and other forms of censorship are never consistent.
Sup I find it crazy and mind blowing. That steam has a, adult theme. When I found it, at first I. Couldn't stop bursting, out with laughter! 🤣😆😳
I feel the same way about FIFA and Big Rig driving games, but everyone likes different things.
Steam have an 18+ section isn't any different than you local movie rental store having an 18+ section though.
Granted, if you didn't live through those times, I can see why it would shock younger people.
I really wish there were reasons added too, I know the reasons are likely not public, but I've seen some very explicit content released on steam, but some content is to my knowledge banned like anything where the age is illegal, and I imagine that grape would also be banned etc, but I don't know
Steam says it is their policy not to say specifics to keep developers from pushing content right up to the line.
@@SexPositiveGaming kinda makes sense but also weasly as hell
Oops! All Anime-Games!
And, wow, just about all of them are human-sue games that treat women like objects, just like 95% of anime games out there.

For me Steam is overrated
The vast majority of games & VNs I have were not from steam
Absolutely, but the majority of the Adult Content Gaming market outside of Japan is now on Steam.
Steam does not enforce equally they have games that are very dark but will still block others jerez arena is an example. They let the sequel up but duel princess is somehow worse. Jerez arena doesn't mess around lol plus theres still stuff up with blatant copyright infringement like tuition academy steam needs to make a uniform decision.
It would be nice to see that happen.
I really should buy more games on GOG, but then I see my library of 1455 games on Steam towering over me.
Steam is both convenient and terrifying at the same time.
