I hate when people leave comments about “I have a 99 Silverado with 370k miles on it looks great and runs great paid off and insurance is only $10 a month” who cares man
I kno right . Like I have a 2009 Sierra paid cash for it and it just turned 100 k. Runs better than one with payments. 🖖
Welcome to the trokiando scene n the mulet will go with the truck
And he lives in Houston

Had my 2021 High Country for 2 weeks. Still learning all about the new features that my LT didn’t have. Love this truck.
Very cool daily. My weekend car is an ATS-V and my daily is a bare bones single cab WT 2WD with the same V6.That powertrain is honestly impressive and the mileage is also pretty stellar for moving a big truck.I get 19 city and 26 highway in mine.Enjoy her !
Bro Dave Ramsey called. He’s concerned about all of this debt for vehicle flexing.
Texans have a lot of disposable income. Shit is cheap here but this state isn’t that beautiful so it’s a trade off
There isn’t debt when you lease a vehicle, unless if you take up a car loan to finance a vehicle. Dave Ramsey also says you shouldn’t have credit cards and buy a house straight cash, not during these times
😭🤣🤣
Lol
Trokiando with the mullet cuh 😂

Nicest v6 option for a daily, which is even more than I need, basic, simple in min options needed, Works for me! Awesome! Especially for intro sized Truck!
Sweet truck man! I love my 2018 GMC Sierra All Terrian with the 6.2l, love your content man, good seeing another video! I'll be going FBO with my truck soon. All videos are on my channel!
When my 2012 Ford was totaled I started looking at new trucks and drove two Silverado Customs very similar to this. I drove the V6 and the I4 and They’re both solid trucks. Cheap, well built, and worth the money. I still bought another Ford though lol
He saw the Trokiando videos and wanted to grow a mulet lmao
Been watching since the black RT days, but been a while since I’ve tuned in. As a former car salesman myself I like how you talk about some of the car buying aspects, so many people are just misinformed and scared of sales people. Also I have a 2019 ram bighorn lease about to turn in soon, really thinking about an RST Silverado, but hard to go no Mopar after 4 straight. 2 chargers and 2 Rams.
My boy Riley keep up the work and I love the video and miss your video lot and nice truck 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I still have my 2000 Chevy Silverado 5.3 z71 4x4 ext cab that I bought with 107k miles used for $5,300. It has 186,xxx miles on it and it's my daily driver. Runs and looks great. Paid off and my insurance is less than $100 a month on it.
I have a 2016 Ford Mustang GT fully payed off and I pay 35 bucks for insurance. Perks of being a federal agent with Geico 😚
The best vehicle is a paid off vehicle. Got a 2005 2500HD bought new with 234,000 miles and still runs great. Drinks a little oil but still good. Going to pull the 6.0 bulletproof engine and rebuild, do some cosmetic work and a few upgrades and will be good for another 250,000. Never drive a payment.
Congrats on the new truck enjoy.
RP Productions Great Video I think your 2021 Silverado Custom is pretty cool and I think you should do some Easy Off-roading and get those Trail Boss wheels
That 4.3 v6 is rather beastly. Been around for. Long time. Actually looked at a similar spec truck. Definitely considering that
I purchased and F150, but took a real hard look at Chevy just because the 4.3 v6 is such a proven proven, dare I say, bulletproof platform.
This 4.3 came out in 2014. This isn't the old 4.3 vortec that was around forever.
@@prestondillon9279 thnx! Learn something new everyday!
4.3 v6 replaced their baby v8. It's a nice engine.
@@prestondillon9279 i used to have that 4.3 vortec in my 2003 s-10 extreme. sick little engine for what it is
I love that battleship grey paint. Nice truck
I bought the exact truck but in 4WD and LOVE IT!!!! I would recommend to anyone and you are right why pay for all the extras if you don't need it.
Nice and Practical and leasing is smart
for the purpose. Would had gotten the 2.7 Turbo. I have GMC version with the 2.7 Elevation model has more upgrades etc, and leased. I tow 4500 lbs boat & 3800 lbs dry weight RV; When not towing I avg 18-19 city driving and it's quick and love the torque more so, towing a camper in the Smokey Mountains..the amount of torque is crazy!
Cool! MTB life, you should do some MTB vids! Do you road cycle as well?
You don't go into how much you put down to get that $250 mth payment. Chevy is running a special now that if you put $30k down you can have a $0.00 a month buy payment. The devil is in the details my friend!
He said it's a lease...
@@mt-nv4jd there's no way he didn't put several thousand down to get that $249.99 a month!!!!!
@@rcrookster yeah fr it’s price is like $50,000
Exactly. And why the hell would he put all those accessories on a truck that he was leasing? And not to mention insurance etc.
A rear window is helpful, specially when you load 2x4s and other long boards
The AC blowing full blast on start up is to help defrost windshield, let it blow for a few minutes, then flip it to hottest defrost setting
Great video and your truck is beautiful..
I respect this simple build; a classy nice truck for an affordable price
What were the complete details on the lease? Residual, cap cost, etc...?
Lovely Jubbly, time flies 3 years will go very quickly, PCP deals are very popular in the UK.
Just financed one of these goats. Black 4wd V6. Options included black work step, black Chevy badge, rear locking differential, splash guards. Out the door at 37k. Incredible!
I just bought mine yesterday, I love it
Same here! any tips and experiences I should know about as a knew owner?
where did you hit your truck?
Wow dude you are doing well for yourself!!
Hey, where did you get the center console with extra cups and storage? I heard it was on amazon. Link?
Good looking truck love the color
You may need to visit an eye doctor if you need LED lights. Especially in a pickup truck. So, at least you can blind oncoming drivers. That's pretty cool. Maybe for a hobby you can stare at the sun ☀️
Lmao thanks for the chuckles Ray J
Real nice on the extra cup holders from Amazon you installed. Can you please tell me the exact name of the cup holders from Amazon you purchased??
LED’s in a non projection headlamp assy, cool.
With the chip shortage how long do you think it will take for a ordered one to arrive? Great video!
Enjoy its a sweet truck
Congrats on the new truck dude. I was looking for a new truck but jeez they are outrageous right now. 52k for modestly equipped ones...decided to buy an older beater til supply catches up to demand again.
You can work a deal on this get it for under 40k!
Is that a mullet lol
I was wondering the same thing
It's making a come back....we all should get one ....the mullet...
I thought mullets had gone out of style back in '89! (12/13/2020)
They will make a comeback! And when they do....I'll be ready!
@@knowbodiesfull5768 theyre coming back
The remote start A/C relies on an ambient temperature sensor. So it senses what the temperature is, and corresponds to what A/C setting the truck will give. The problem is GM thinks everyone must be sweating bullets, so the heater will only come on when it’s less than 40° outside. 41° and up, and you’ll get full blast A/C.
I believe I understand what you are saying, but if you are calling for heat when you remote start the truck shouldn’t override the ambient temp sensor at 40 degrees and below correct ???
A/C + heater on hottest setting should not only warm up the car but extract any moisture that accumulated on the inside of windshield. Humans do breathe out moisture, and that could condensate on the windshield ... I see nothing wrong there
@@David_Journey...Gotcha...Thanks for the response !!!
Love the truck.. I will get one as well.
I know I am late to the party but where did you get that floor console? I have the same Custom Silverado that comes with no storage in the armrest
In my experience all remote cars do that don’t know which are able to customize the settings but would be good if they did!
Had a 2003 and 2010 and the 6 cylinder sucks the joy out of driving the truck and the best thing I ever did was go for the 5.3 on the 2019
Look for something in your climate somewhere in the Setttings. maybe in the Personal I have just gotten a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer RS in the Midnight Blue.
The mullet solidifies your transition into gm. Congrats
Garage looks nice! Up here, truck should be 4x4 because winter, you can get around in RWD, but AWD -4WD helps so much. But since you don’t get winter there, that’s a good truck
I live in Minnesota and you don’t need a 4wd if you have a little common sense. My trucks are all 2wd and I never get stuck. Couple sand bags in the back for weight and winter tires. Inexperience drivers need it though.
The reason why people like me in the north lease is because trucks rust out lol. Trucks are so expensive now they give out loans for 8 years. By the time ur done paying it off it’s outdated and probably needs rocker panels. I’d rather just pay my 285 mo 0 down on my Colorado and not have to worry about fixing anything while also paying a huge payment. You also get a brand new truck every 3 years. It’s a good gig here in the north
My 2016 W/T console opens! WOW
I’m also in the market for an truck. Looking forward to the 2022 refresh on the GM trucks or the 2022 tundra. I’m looking for a 4x4 Elevation or rst
Oh RP production that's a good truck it'll have to be a V8 v6 that's good but I'm ready to hear about that c8 Corvette I know it's coming
Si quema cuh!!
Being that this bed is 5'10" overall can it still fit your standard 6ft ladder in the back notmally without putting on diagonal and taking up half the bed space?
I know why the AC comes on when you remote start it. It's because that feature was exclusively designed by Frosty the Snowman
My dad doesn’t like leasing, put it simple.
My mother was going to buy a new sienna, she did all the work with my dad. After that, Toyota salesman was talking about how much money she can save with leasing and showing her beautiful numbers, my dad let them talk and even brought the manager over and explained him how great leasing is. Long story short, my dad had the numbers, and with leasing, my mom would be paying $4,000 more than the loan option.
im a diehard ford fan but ive always had a soft spot for the corvettes and camaros...but for the life of me ive never liked ANY chevy trucks...something about the boxy designs i cant figure out why but i dont like them
How are you so blindly loyal when you could enjoy all cars
I do like the old square body Chevy trucks from the late 70s to the early 90s. I also like the early 1990s Chevy trucks. After the mid 1990s, I’ve hated the GM truck designs.
I never thought about leasing one of these trucks. I'm not a huge fan of the custom look compared to some of the other higher end models of the Silverado, but you can't pass up the monthly price! I would have to have 4x4 though! otherwise I want the same thing.
4.3 v6 is a work horse!
RP, Where did you get the front middle floor console?
I am here sense the “og” ram and the blue 1le
Can you link that floor center console accessory?
I have the 2021 Chevy Silverado custom. 4.3 v6 , when it is parked and when I'm stopped while in Drive I feel a vibration. Does your truck do the same thing?
Nice color
Nice truck!!!! I need to get one at the $250/month promotion!
It's a lease...
That’s odd my Durango puts the heat on hi during the winter and the ac on in the summer regardless to what you have the temp at
So does my GMC Sierra, even heats the steering wheel.
By the truck at the end of the lease term or turn it in one year before the lease term is ended and you will not have to pay early lease termination fee if you going over the miles
I was wondering what kind of deal that I can get from you on a Chevy custom 2.7 L turbo truck I know they have the employee discount going on this month
There's no reason to be ashamed of 2WD truck. You said it several times, "I can do anything I need in this truck." Most people will never use their 4WD systems that cost them an extra $3k-$5k. If you're using your truck to just tow your camper, haul trash to the dump, basic work truck style... 4WD isn't necessary. That being said, 4WD has its place in certain terrains, boat ramps, snow prone areas, etc. And, the 4.3 V6 is a fantastic and proven engine platform.
Can agree is you live in the southern part of the states. I live in Canada and 4x4 is pretty much essential.
These trucks are reported to ride well on smooth payment but very harsh on rough payment. How does yours ride?
Just got myself a Silverado RST. Drove the custom and like it but wanted it the V8. Just felt like it stronger then the 4cyl and still i get 21 mpg. Otherwise the custom us a great truck and good price. And i was a Toyota guy for years.
Where did you get the bed liner? I bought one but it has cut outs around the bed lights and the tie downs exposing the paint. So disappointing especially after the $500 bill🤦♂️
That garage is cleaner than my house.
can you link the center console, please?
More detailing vids :)
Make sure you swap out the canooter valve. It will save your engine
What is a canooter valve...lol.
Does anyone know the brand of speakers this comes with on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 custom crew cab?
That truck pulls better than a V8 F150. I have driven both, hauling two tons, and I was very surprised, even has better stability
I call Bullshit
I have a 2021 Silverado LT with lots of options, but has conventional bulbs for the tail lights and the OEM LED Headlights. I'm not sure how some custom has the LED tails but some LTs don't. lol Scratching my head.
Do you have any idea why the 2.7 custom tows 7600lbs and why the LT 2.7 tows 9300lbs? What's the difference?
Leasing is signing up to get robbed. Sit down and calculate the actual cost over the time of the lease instead of just throwing out your initial feelings and opinions.
I'm also in Texas. Can you share details on the lease special for less than $250/month? Location. Salesperson. All of it.
Do the math. $250 x 12months x how many years lease.
Consider decreased value and what the vehicle will be worth by the end of the lease. Then add the thousands of dollars worth of deposit to make the actual difference.
It’s no secret. $250 a month for lease means a million dollars down payment.
@@Romans_116 it all depends on the deals given. It’s 2 wheel drive and a base model. GM is notorious for giving great deals and if he went to a good dealership during a promotion or was able to deal well, he could have got a couple grand off and then only put down $2-$3000. It’s definitely doable.
@@watchreport
It’s definitely doable. Leasing for some people is the way to go. But the banks and the dealers need to make their money regardless. They won’t lose... they’ll make sure you pay enough to cover the costs and some the profit.
They will either make you do a good amount of down payment and or limit your mile usage. But at the end of the day, it’s like renting a car. It will never be yours and you are responsible for any dents, scratches, etc...
@@Romans_116 there’s a good amount of leeway with scratches and dents upon a lease return. They are more concerned about interior. Yes massive dents or cracks etc, busted lights will have to be repaired or you will pay for it upon return but a couple of small dents and scrapes on a vehicle are usually overlooked, at least that’s been my experience over the years of leasing.
You can also but lease insurance through the dealer, where you pay a small payment each month and you can get $5,000, $10,000 etc coverage for when you return the vehicle.
Long live column shifters.
@RP Productions the new ram trx is out.
What kind of offer did you get for this truck I'm looking to lease something similar and it's been like $600+
How many miles can you put on it a year?
What about the 2500 down deposit so with tAx and deposit spread out over length of lease, it’s 360 a month, fake news
Still, considering it's a ~$40,000 truck, $360/month for nothing down is actually pretty good.
@@AkioWasRight This truck is a V6 two wheels drive, it's not $40,000, It's $28,000
@@guysteel Not true at all, and you clearly pulled the number out of the air. According Chevy's build and price page, a base Silverado 1500 Custom Crew Cab, with the 4.3L V6, is $40,295, including destination. That's with no options, not even 4x4. It only goes up from there. Now, of course, there are package, factory and dealer discounts, which could lower the price down to around $28,000, but the sticker price is a minimum of $40,295. His is at least the much, so he's getting, in fact, a $40,000+ truck for $360 a month. That's really quite good.
@@AkioWasRight If you can get a $12,000 discount on a $40,295 pickup, that's good. Good enough, you'd probably be ahead to buy it vs. lease it. The best I'm seeing in Nebraska for a Ford F-150 is around $11,000 off. All of those are significantly higher than the $40295.00. The insult to injury on pricing is that the discounts fade after the XLT trim...Lariat and above the discount drops of substantially. Making the STX version the best buy for the $$$ (typically).
That truck is probably 32k. Leases are dumb and no you can’t just do whatever you want to it since you don’t own it
👍 for the mullet
Just a heads up, the custom trim center console has always opened. The work truck trim is the one that doesn't open. So custom yes, custom wt no.
Not True. I looked all over the country at the 2020 version of this truck and none of the center consoles opened. My friend bought one in October and his doesn’t open. The 4x4s opened. I just bought the 2021 and it opens. My friend is jealous.
Very affordable and reliable truck.
How many miles can you drive on that lease
I drive to work 17k miles a year, is that to many ?
How much down ?
Most lease specials are for 10k miles. The max I’ve seen dealerships offer is 15k, u can maybe specially request 20k. But the difference between 10-12-15 is around 15$ more a month each jump. I’m paying 285/mo 0 down for a Chevy Colorado WT 4x4 ext cab
15k miles.
Is this like the budget streetspeed channel?
V6 and 2WD is perfect for 90% of people…. You ll do fine with your Costco/Sams runs for sure.
u have a link to buy that console cup holder add on on amazon?
I drove one of these around for a few days, and the v6 is perfect for a daily.
The v8 is perfect for a daily
And you can get the same deal that Riley got with Employee Pricing for all.
Lmao Yeah that or great credit with the lease deal Chevy has. It works everytime bro
Nice 👍
Nice set up on the garage, congrats on the truck.
For a family, I would argue that a 4 door pick up is the most functional family vehicle there is.
Idk what you mean about the rear vents. My 2003 silverado had rear vents.
Sweet truck!
