Its 70k CAD not USD. I got my similar spec'd LT Trailboss for under 48k USD out the door. If the TRX was even remotely close to that price I would be driving a TRX instead.
Really like the looks of the GM 🛻 exteriors. Huge fan of the bed cam and the cubbie inside the rear seat. Every truck should have those features. Gauge cluster looks dated and needs to be updated for the price point. The rear bench is too low and the seat back too upright. Feels like a kitchen 🪑. Like the slideability of the chassis. Still 🐏 1st then F150 for me.
I did the same thing back in 2014. Had a 2012 Silverado Z71 and the transmission started slipping with 35k miles on it. My dealership “fixed it”. A week later it was slipping again and they didn’t want to fix it because I had 200 miles left on the warranty. They tried to tell me to break in the transmission after the repair. Went straight to a ram dealer and got a blacked out 1500 and never looked back. Gm is a joke and never should have gotten bail out money.
I used to lease GMC Sierra Z71's every 2 years for about 20 years straight and i watched the quality decline on every new one. The doors and windows would freeze shut in the cold. Finally I just gave up and went and bought a Ram Sport, on my 3rd one now and each one is better than the last. Went to see about a TRX and can probably live with the terrible mileage but they don't offer ram boxes with them so I had to pass. I can't live without my ram boxes for the fishing rods and other important stuffs. Heck, you could fill them with ice and use it as a beer cooler.
I actually like the interior. It's hard plastic, but it doesn't feel brittle or anything. I need an interior that will hold up with two dogs and two sub 5 year olds.
Too expensive for this crap interior. It would be good if the us car brands would corporate with asian or German brands in term if interior design and screens.
2021 Ford has a new 12 inch screen. The 2022 silverado is getting a similar sized screen. They may be slow to change but they are moving in the right direction.
kingluis - And as a European who lives in the EU, it would be good if german/european brands finally competed with US brands in terms of making a proper reliable car for the average guy and not overpriced unreliable crapboxes that they make right now. I show you an example. Dodge Charger. 4 door V8 sedan for around $40K. Not a single german brand or european brand makes anything that even comes close to competing with that. And before you start raging at me, Ive had this argument literally hundreds of times in the past years and not a single time was the other guy capable of proving me wrong.
That might be the truck that Hennessey Performance turns into the "Goliath" via Lift, Shocks/Springs, Wheels/tires, exhaust, Supercharger & whatever else those crazy people down in Texas are building to make these trucks have 800HP. We all totally need 800HP in our trucks!

theyve been teasing the interior updates, why cant they just do em alreayd!!!!!!!
I’m in the market for a 2500 duramax and I’m refusing to buy this interior. Almost 70k for this junk interior, no thanks. I’m hoping they put the new tahoe interior in the Silverado’s cuz that actually looks worth the money
@@siddhantkadian2354 definitely best interior but the cummins is not powerful enough for me unless u step up to the 3500 which is just beyond what I need the truck for. Also I do prefer having a General Motors vehicle because of rebates (I was quoted a 68k msrp truck for like 58950) which is a very good value but I believe 2022 trucks will have updated interior so I’ll just wait. Thanks for the insight 🤙
@@baus200 Yup, 2022 will have new interiors. Worth waiting, if it's a deal breaker for you.
Nice review, however nobody seems to mention the 6.2L requires premium fuel. Maybe not a deal breaker since the 6.2 is so much better than the 5.3 power wise, but still......
I love these dudes so much lol
Beautiful , well designed truck & im a hard core Ford truck guy! Own an '18 F150 XLT FX4 & '19 Ranger XLT FX4. Both excellent trucks. We may try a Chevy Silverado next time ..unless the new F150 Powerboost hybrid is as good as they say.
Chevy: Who's willing to buy this?
Nobody: I will!
My 2014 ford f150 will leave the back up camera as long as you don't speed over 5 or 10 miles. And I love that feature for when I'm dragging weeds on my property
HAHAHA fart mode button. I need that in my car.
5:05 When we got these newer Silverados at work I was trying to figure out the purpose of that button too and my coworker basically agreed if was a Fart Mode lol
This is a pretty nice truck for circa-2015
Spot on
Thank god it doesn't play fart noises etc externally. For some reason that's something that even grown men are excited about.
A truck that looks so goofy and cartoony that I would feel embarrassed driving it.
Jakub’s excitement for the “fart mode” all window done is omg
With a price that close to the TRX - there is no choice haha
Its 70k CAD not USD. I got my similar spec'd LT Trailboss for under 48k USD out the door. If the TRX was even remotely close to that price I would be driving a TRX instead.
not even close, TRX is well over 100k CAD
@@ramrod19 Didnt realize you were speaking of CAD
Really like the looks of the GM 🛻 exteriors. Huge fan of the bed cam and the cubbie inside the rear seat. Every truck should have those features. Gauge cluster looks dated and needs to be updated for the price point. The rear bench is too low and the seat back too upright. Feels like a kitchen 🪑. Like the slideability of the chassis. Still 🐏 1st then F150 for me.
You know how we have double storey houses? Well, this is a double storey car. The styling makes it look like so.
Yuri, we all know it's not real carbon fiber and that the rally package is not only stripes. Thanks for explaining it literally.
5:13 fart mode? Nah bro more like hotboxing mode
Perfect mode for a truck with 420 horsepower
That’s hilarious
Those JC Whitney stripes are legit. The Farbon Ciber looked pretty rad as well !
The interiors are sooo bad in the Chevy gmc compared to the dodge ram .... I am a Chevy guy but I went dodge u get so much more for your money
I have absolutely no need for a pickup, but I want one so bad man.
0:21 The wheels are so thin, it looks like the truck is running on split Oreo cookies.
Rams 12” screen, with the F150 Lariat Sport interior design in this truck would be the ultimate truck.
Surprised it didn’t break down
I actually like the interior. It's hard plastic, but it doesn't feel brittle or anything. I need an interior that will hold up with two dogs and two sub 5 year olds.
"Fart Mode"
LOL
Best looking truck out there. Chevy resale is worth buying one alone in canada. Rams are nice but depreciate to nothing.
Too expensive for this crap interior. It would be good if the us car brands would corporate with asian or German brands in term if interior design and screens.
2021 Ford has a new 12 inch screen. The 2022 silverado is getting a similar sized screen. They may be slow to change but they are moving in the right direction.
No one buying a truck wants a delicate European luxury interior. Ram and Ford are doing exactly what the market wants. GM is stuck in 2013 tho.
kingluis - And as a European who lives in the EU, it would be good if german/european brands finally competed with US brands in terms of making a proper reliable car for the average guy and not overpriced unreliable crapboxes that they make right now.
Same power, torque and interior from almost 10 years ago, come on WTF!!!!!!!
For some very strange reason I have fell in love with the truck
The valuation of this depreciation liability is too high, for that reason, I'm out.
What?

@@DespairMisery ah, thank you my man. Went right over my head.
Yesssss sir!!! Another one! Fantastic review guys!
The Stripes dont look good at all, let alone paying $10k for it!! Hey man, NO!!
Trx and ram still better
@@edwincuevas4823 The way more expensive truck is better? You don't say!
@@AS-er4ud wdym a maybach is more expensive than a c63s dosent mean its better
@@edwincuevas4823 it makes relative sense for the more expensive item/thing to be "better" lmao. It's simple logic for the most part... I'm also not saying it "has" to be dearer to be "better" either. It usually goes like that tho.
I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
It looks so hideous that only it's mother would like it.
