Just picked up a 2024 Talon after watching all your videos. Loving it so far! Lots of goodies order. I’m watching even tho I couldn’t dare own a poolaris. OG Maverick would have been pretty awesome build. My 2016 XMR was a beast but we don’t play with rocks just mud and sand here in FL
That’s awesome. I still love my Talon. Glad to hear you are enjoying yours. Adding the goodies is all part of the fun. We do watch a few channels from Florida. Lots of Talons going deep down there. They seem to be very popular in Florida. I am still not too sure about this Polaris RZR. Might be a good machine for the girls. lol.
sorry to see you the rear differential is bad , when you get a new one make sure to do the pinion nut fix or it could happen again . Lots of info online on how to do the repair
Here’s a video by Les Hanson who first made the tools required to do the pinon nut fix .watch this video it shows the whole process on how to pull the rear differential and do the rear differential pinon nut fix ruclips.net/video/U0vcTWsHGBE/видео.htmlsi=25uOeEPhfzlNLqLA
Thanks for the video. We have done a fair bit of research now on the rear diff pinion nut issues. We even found a rear diff and the guy did this fix on the pinion nut. So let the fun begin. We will see how it holds up after we get a few other things buttoned up. Stay tuned.
@@sideshowguysGood to hear , only thing i don’t like about the 800 is where the belt is located. It’s behind the seat and looks like it would be a bit$ch to change out on the trail if it breaks. Don’t forget about the oil pressure relief valve too . the dowel pin can get stuck and cause high oil pressure. blowing the oil filter
@ Thanks for the info. All great points. The belt location is a bit odd. But really not the bad to get to it. But heck I did it in the garage when the machine was clean. Different story out on the trail covered in mud. I have been looking at a few different fixes for the oil relief set up. Have a few ideas for it too. We will see how things go.
Nope. It will be a shared machine if we get it all fixed up. Just a new machine for the channel. But I have a feeling the girls might take ownership of it. We will see if Eric and I get much seat time in it.

I have homemade tools to tighten up the pinion nut if you need it.
Good to know. But we got a used rear differential that is have had the pinion nut torqued and good to go. Guess time will tell. Lol

You could call it the Strawberry
But Don sold the Blue berry. So we need to name it something in line with his new machine. Lol. Still need a name for his new machine. Lol
@ Lady bug
@@flashgordon99999 lol. I like it.

Yes, Don did sell his Blue YXZ , but he has a blue Rmax now. It’s still a blueberry. Yamaha Blue.
Nickname: POS. Stands for Polaris Offroad side by side. Or 🤔...lol.
lol. But Eric loves hi Polaris. Not sure he would like that name. But it would be funny. Lol
@sideshowguys maybe zipper!!! For all of the zip ties the thing came with. Eric shouldn't mind that name. Lol.
@ lol. Now you’re talking our language.

Give you 20 bucks
That would be a good first payment. Lol.
Needs a strong Canadian name, unfortunately there are no strong Canadian names🤷
Well it is American made. So no wonder it needs so many repairs. Lol. Maybe call it the American beater. Lol
@sideshowguys you know we make Hondas down here as well🤔
The perfect negative IQ comment. Love it when fellow Americans work so hard to embarrass us. Nice job 🤌🏼
@@daryelthomas9414 oh ya. The American Hondas are so good I came down and bought one. Lol.
@@sideshowguys what did that do? set you back about three chickens in Canadian money?
